In this paper, structural stiffness analysis of a new 3-axis asymmetric planar parallel manipulator, a 2 P RR–P P R structural kinematic chain, is investigated. The manipulator is proposed as a tool holder for a 5-axis hybrid computer numerical control (CNC) machine. First, the structure of the robot is introduced and inverse kinematics solution is presented. Secondly, stiffness matrix of the robot is determined using a continuous method based on Castigliano’s theorem and calculation of strain energy of the robot components. This method removes the need for commonly used simplifying assumptions and, therefore, results in good accuracy. For this purpose, force and strain energy for each segment of the robot are analyzed. Finally, to verify the analytical results, commercial FEM software is used to simulate the physical structure of the manipulator. A numerical example is presented which confirms the correctness of the analytical formulations.  相似文献

In this article, a compact dual layer leaky wave antenna array is simulated and constructed using the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) based on the TE20 mode at the X‐ and Ku‐bands. The proposed antenna is designed by creating dumbbell‐shaped slots on the upper layer of the SIW. These slots have increased the antenna bandwidth so that the proposed antenna has a bandwidth of 9.5 to 13.7 GHz and a fractional bandwidth of 36%. In addition, to excite the TE20 mode, an SIW power divider is used in the feeding network of the antenna located in the bottom layer. Moreover, the gain and directivity are other advantages of the proposed antenna so that at 12.5 GHz the antenna peak gain reaches to 15.7 dB. Antenna beam scanning angle is from 5° to 81°. This antenna is simulated and analyzed by the CST Microwave Studio software. The obtained results from the antenna test lab confirm the simulation results.  相似文献

The Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) has been thoroughly studied in the last decades. However, the main focus has been on the deterministic version where customer demands are fixed and known in advance. Uncertainty in demand has not received enough consideration. When demands are uncertain, several problems arise in the VRP. For example, there might be unmet customers’ demands, which eventually lead to profit loss. A reliable plan and set of routes, after solving the VRP, can significantly reduce the unmet demand costs, helping in obtaining customer satisfaction. This paper investigates a variant of an uncertain VRP in which the customers’ demands are supposed to be uncertain with unknown distributions. An advanced Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm has been proposed to solve such a VRP. A novel decoding scheme has also been developed to increase the PSO efficiency. Comprehensive computational experiments, along with comparisons with other existing algorithms, have been provided to validate the proposed algorithms.  相似文献

This paper presents a high step‐up soft switched dc–dc converter having the feature of current ripple cancelation in the input stage that is specialized for power conditioning of fuel cell systems. The converter comprises a special half‐bridge converter and a rectifier stage based upon the voltage‐doubler circuit, in which the coupled‐inductor technology is amalgamated with switched‐capacitor circuit. The input current with no ripple is the principal characteristics of this topology that is achieved by utilizing a small coupled inductor. In addition, the low clamped voltage stress across both power switches and output diodes is another advantage of the proposed converter, which allows employing the metal–oxide–semiconductor field‐effect transistors with minuscule on‐state resistance and diodes with lower forward voltage‐drop, and thereby, the semiconductors' conduction losses diminish considerably. The inherent nature of this topology handles the switching scheme based on the asymmetrical pulse width modulation in order for switches to establish the zero voltage switching, leading to lower switching losses. Besides, because of the absence of the reverse‐recovery phenomenon, all diodes turn off with zero current switching. At last, a 250‐W laboratory prototype with the input voltage 24 V and output voltage 380 V is implemented to verify the especial features of the proposed converter. Abstract

In this paper is proposed a reconfiguration methodology with the presence of Distributed Generation (DG), aimed at achieving the minimum power loss, minimum number of switching operation and minimum deviation of bus voltage while satisfying all constraints using improved shuffled frog leaping algorithm (ISFLA).The performance of the proposed method is examined on 33 and 69 bus IEEE test distribution systems. The ISFLA performance is evaluated with the well-known algorithm including of harmony search algorithm (HSA), refined genetic algorithm (GRA), particle swarm optimization (PSO), differential evolutionary (DE) and conventional SFLA. Simulation results showed that the total power loss and voltage bus minimum in primary distribution network can be reduced significantly. Also the results in different scenarios are showed that the simultaneous reconfiguration and DG placement method is better in less losses and also in more minimum voltage. Moreover, the ISFLA superiority is proved in comparison with the HAS, GRA, PSO, DE, and SFLA in view of more convergence speed and accuracy and also converges in less number iteration. Also, the performance of the proposed method is favorable compared to previous studies.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Food‐processing residues are good feedstocks for biofuel and biochemical production because they have high energy content and are abundant. Year‐round biofuel and biochemical production requires proper storage to prevent microbial decomposition and thermal runaway. In this study, microbial activity of tomato pomace (TP), grape pomace (GP), fermented grape pomace (FGP) and sugar beet pulp (SBP) was monitored at nine different moisture contents. RESULTS: Maximum and cumulative respirations for each feedstock with respect to moisture content followed a sigmoidal relationship. The critical moisture content below which no microbial activity was detected for SBP, TP, FGP and GP was 24–31, 16–21, 23–33 and 43–46% (dry basis) respectively. A logarithmic relationship was observed (R2 = 0.94) between critical moisture content and initial water‐soluble carbohydrate (WSC) content of the processing residues. CONCLUSION: The critical moisture content below which no microbial activity was detected and the relationship between critical moisture content and initial WSC content were determined in this study for four food‐processing residues. Both parameters permit evaluation of the potential for deterioration of food‐processing residues during storage based on moisture content and WSC content.
