In this work we study functions for maximum likelihood estimation in blind tip estimation. We will implement the expectation maximization (EM), the stochastic EM, and stochastic approximation EM algortithms to estimate the unknown tip geometry. We have performed ab initio calculations with equilibrium supercells of the Mg2Ni compound and its hydride Mg2NiH4 doped with elements X = Al, Ga, In, Si, Ge and Sn. Two concentrations of X in both structures have been set: (1) every 16th, and (2) every fourth Ni atom has been substituted by X. Total energy calculations yielded the Mg2NiH4 hydrogen absorption enthalpy ΔHabs according to the chemical reaction Mg2Ni + 2H2 → Mg2NiH4. Reduction of the hydrogen absorption enthalpy was reported for both concentrations of X. When doping the Mg2NiH4 hydride with X = In in a low concentration (1), the value of hydrogen desorption enthalpy decreases from 68.22 to 55.96 kJ(mol H2)?1. Doping with X = In in a high concentration (2) further decreases the hydrogen desorption enthalpy to 5.50 kJ(mol H2)?1. Further, the electronic structure of Mg2(Ni–In)H4 hydride with a low In concentration indicates weaker Ni–H bonds in comparison with the pristine Mg2NiH4. Attraction between H and In atoms induced enhanced bonding between Mg and H atoms compared to the pristine Mg2NiH4.  相似文献

An increasing number of people are joining online social networks. By interacting with each other, network members influence one another’s opinion. These influencing effects can be utilized by marketing. A wave of influence can be triggered by addressing only a few opinion leaders in the network. Targeting the right opinion leaders is a big challenge. This paper presents a new approach which simulates the spread of opinions when influencing certain opinion leaders. In contrast to other approaches, the influencing effects are not assumed but revealed by real data. The principles of opinion formation are detected by ant mining algorithms before they are applied to simulate the spread of opinions. The approach is applied to an online gaming community and provides valuable insights for marketing.  相似文献

In current software systems, connectors play an important role by encapsulating the communication and coordination logic. Since they share common patterns (elements) depending on characteristics of the connections, the elements can be predefined and reused. A method of connector implementation based on a composition of predefined elements naturally comprises two steps: resolution of the connector architecture, and creation of the actual connector code based on the architecture. However, manual resolution of a connector architecture is very difficult due to the number of factors to be considered. Thus, the challenge is to come up with an automated method, able to address all the important factors. In this paper, we present a method for automated resolution of connector architectures based on constraint solving techniques. We exploit a propositional logic with relational calculus for defining a connector theory, a constraint specification reflecting both the predefined parts and the important resolution factors, and employ a constraint solver to find a suitable connector architecture as a model of the theory. As a proof of the concept, we show how the theory can be captured in the Alloy language and resolved via the Alloy Analyzer.  相似文献

While crowdsourcing may strengthen a company's innovation performance, it is only rarely embedded in organizations as an innovation practice. Our action research shows that organizations often struggle with crowdsourcing projects as they represent a different form of innovation projects and require additional capabilities and skills e.g., to frame a crowd challenge, deal with IP rights, manage the crowd, or integrate the vast input into innovation projects. To overcome these problems, organizations have to invest in project-led learning to establish easy-to-use templates and routines e.g., to handle offered incentives or the applied winner selection processes. They further need to enable business-led learning as the established innovation structures, processes, and management practices do not cope with crowdsourcing projects and present some rigidities causing high coordination efforts. Organizations that are willing to run a number of consecutive crowdsourcing projects may rapidly improve their capabilities and even come up with scalable crowdsourcing services. Our findings further suggest that crowdsourcing, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and as-a-service approaches may also add to general project capability building.  相似文献

Accurate and sensitive determination of hematopoietic chimerism is a crucial diagnostic measure after allogeneic stem cell transplantation to monitor engraftment and potentially residual disease. Short tandem repeat (STR) amplification, the current “gold standard” for chimerism assessment facilitates reliable accuracy, but is hampered by its limited sensitivity (≥1%). Digital PCR (dPCR) has been shown to combine exact quantification and high reproducibility over a very wide measurement range with excellent sensitivity (routinely ≤0.1%) and thus represents a promising alternative to STR analysis. We here aimed at developing a whole panel of digital-PCR based assays for routine diagnostic. To this end, we tested suitability of 52 deletion/insertion polymorphisms (DIPs) for duplex analysis in combination with either a reference gene or a Y-chromosome specific PCR. Twenty-nine DIPs with high power of discrimination and good performance were identified, optimized and technically validated. We tested the newly established assays on retrospective patient samples that were in parallel also measured by STR amplification and found excellent correlation. Finally, a screening plate for initial genotyping with DIP-specific duplex dPCR assays was designed for convenient assay selection. In conclusion, we have established a comprehensive dPCR system for precise and high-sensitivity measurement of hematopoietic chimerism, which should be highly useful for clinical routine diagnostics.  相似文献
