Nanocomposites based on poly (n-butyl methacrylate) (PBMA) with various concentrations of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles were synthesised by in situ free radical polymerisation method. The formation of nanocomposite was characterised by FTIR, UV, XRD, DSC, TGA, impedance analyser and flame retardancy measurements. FTIR and UV spectrum ascertained the intermolecular interaction between nanoparticles and the polymer chain. The XRD studies indicated that the amorphous region of PBMA decreased with the increase in content of metal oxide nanoparticles. The SEM revealed the uniform dispersion of nanoparticles in the polymer composite. The DSC and TGA studies showed that the glass transition temperature and thermal stability of the nanocomposites were increased with the increase in the concentration of nanoparticles. The conductivity and dielectric properties of nanocomposites were higher than pure PBMA and the maximum electrical property was observed for the sample with 7 wt% TiO2. As the concentration of nanoparticles increased above 7 wt%, the electrical property of nanocomposite was decreased owing to the agglomeration of nanoparticles in the polymer. Nanoparticles could impart better flame retardancy to PBMA/TiO2 composite and the flame resistance of the materials improved with the addition of nanoparticles in the polymer matrix.  相似文献

Summary First unsaturated polyester fibers were prepared starting from stereoregular, macromolecular poly(octamethylene fumarate). Fibers obtained from octamethylene copolyesters of fumaric and terephthalic acids manifested improved mechanical properties and higher melting points. All unsaturated polyester fibers prepared in the study, based on the homopolymer and on copolymers of fumaric acid, even those containing as low as 10% of fumaric acid residues, are able to be covalently bonded to an unsaturated polyester matrix.For part 7, see Jaovi M.S., et al., Makromol. The robustness assessment is a part of a method validation protocol, during which several characteristics of an analytical method are also evaluated (e.g. accuracy, repeatability, reproducibility, linearity, intermediate precision, measurement uncertainty) in order to assess its fitness for purpose. The purpose of robustness assessment of the near infrared spectroscopy method (NIRS) is to indicate which factor significantly influence the obtained results, as well as to point to the potential problems that might occur in the routine application of the method. The assessment of robustness of the NIRS method included variation of certain operational and environmental factors at three level (−1, 0, 1) by applying univariate (one-variable-at-a-time, OVAT) and multivariate (multivariate-at-a-time, MVAT) approach to the experimental design. Operational and environmental factors that were varied included the number of subsamples to be measured in the NIRS measurement (1), environmental temperature (2), sample temperature (3), environmental air humidity (4), instrument voltage (5) and lamp aging (6). Regardless the applied experimental design, external factors with significant influence on obtained NIRS results were indicated, as well as pointed the potential problems that might occur in the routine application of the method. In order to avoid them, every effort should be made to stabilize instrument and sample temperature and to standardize the homogeneity and number of subsamples to be measured in NIRS measurement. Moreover, the obtained results highlighted the necessity that the NIRS instruments should work through a voltage regulator.  相似文献

The effect of independent variables of microwave‐assisted extraction (MAE), extraction temperature (50–90 °C), microwave power (100–200 W), solvent concentration (methanol/water, 50–90%, v/v) and extraction time (1–27 min) on total phenolics and flavonoids contents as well as antioxidant activity of broccoli extracts was investigated. Response surface methodology was successfully applied for optimisation and the high correlation of the mathematical model indicated that a quadratic polynomial model could be used for optimisation of investigated responses. Considering the maximum amount of extracted total phenolics, total flavonoids and antioxidant activity expressed as ORAC value, the optimal conditions for all three investigated responses were obtained (temperature ?71.11 °C; microwave power ?167.03 W; solvent concentration ?75.95%; and extraction time 16.34 min), which is in agreement with optimal conditions obtained for each investigated responses. The development of simultaneously MAE methods for total phenolics, total flavonoids and antioxidant activity of broccoli extracts might simplify assessment of broccoli as valuables source of antioxidants.  相似文献

The supercritical carbon dioxide (SFE) extraction of Dalmatian sage (Salvia officinalis L.) was investigated and compared to extraction performed by Soxhlet ethanol-water (70:30) mixture extraction (SE) and hydrodistillation (HD). The supercritical extraction allowed isolation of wide spectrum of phytochemicals, while other applied methods were limited to either volatiles (HD) or high molecular compounds isolation (SE). The kinetics of the supercritical extraction and fractionation within the pressure range of 10-30 MPa at 50 °C were also analyzed as well as the chemical compositions of total extract and partial or differential fractions isolated at different CO2 consumption. Volatile fraction could be isolated at low pressure and low CO2 consumption, whereby the pressures between 10 and 15 MPa followed by increased CO2 consumption were favourable for obtaining desired selectivity of diterpenes which contain compounds with expressed antioxidative characteristics.  相似文献

The effect of NaCl added in different quantities on thermodynamic properties, granulometric characteristics, and structure of glycine in a crystallization process was investigated. Solubilities of α‐ and γ‐polymorphs in the presence of varying amounts of NaCl were analyzed. In order to examine the impact of the additive on granulometric properties of glycine, crystal morphology was examined by observing crystals under a scanning electron microscope. Crystal size distribution was determined by sieve analysis. By X‐ray diffraction analysis, the critical concentration of NaCl at which the structure of glycine changed, could be defined. The purity of obtained polymorphs was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.  相似文献

Since 1968 the Croatian Mathematical Society has issued annual reports on activities of its members in the scientific journal Glasnik Matemati?ki. Based on these data was analysed production of mathematical scientific articles published in national and international journals in the period of forty years. A rough estimate of the intensity and dynamics of the publication shows that the publication of the reference period can be divided into two stages separated by the War in Croatia. After a period of uncertainty of the 2nd World war the period preceding was characterized by establishing new institutes, colleges and university departments. After the War in Croatia a gradual but large increase in the number of published articles was evident, especially in foreign journals. The War diminished technical writing almost to the zero while increase of scientific production was 9 times greater in 2008 than in 1968.  相似文献
