The flap-lag-torsion coupled aeroelastic behavior of a hingeless rotor blade with composite flexures in hovering flight has been investigated by using the finite element method. The quasi-steady strip theory with dynamic inflow effects is used to obtain the aerodynamic loads acting on the blade. The governing differential equations of motion undergoing moderately large displacements and rotations are derived using the Hamilton’s principle. The flexures used in the present model are composed of two composite plates which are rigidly attached together. The lead-lag flexure is located inboard of the flap flexure. A mixed warping model that combines the St. Venant torsion and the Vlasov torsion is developed to describe the twist behavior of the composite flexure. Numerical simulations are carried out to correlate the present results with experimental test data and also to identify the effects of structural couplings of the composite flexures on the aeroelastic stability of the blade. The prediction results agree well with other experimental data. The effects of elastic coupling such as pitch-flap, pitch-lag, and flap-lag couplings on the stability behavior of the composite blades are also investigated. 相似文献

Abstract— A novel active‐matrix organic light‐emitting‐diode (AMOLED) display employing a new current‐mirror pixel circuit, which requires four‐poly‐Si TFTs and one‐capacitor and no additional signal lines, has been proposed and sucessfully fabricated. The experimental results show that a new current mirror can considerably compensate luminance non‐uniformity and scale down a data current more than a conventional current‐mirror circuit in order to reduce the pixel charging time and increase the minimum data current. Compared with a conventional two‐TFT pixel, the luminance non‐uniformity induced by the grain boundaries of poly‐Si TFTs can be decreased considerably from 41% to 9.1%. 相似文献

Clozapine is an atypical antipsychotic agent that is more effective than the standard neuroleptics currently used for treating refractory schizophrenia. In addition, clozapine is a drug with few extrapyramidal side effects. However, clozapine is also associated with potentially serious adverse effects, such as cardiac complications as well as agranulocytosis. Clozapine-related cardiomyopathy has not been previously reported in East Asia. This report describes a 31-year-old Korean male patient with schizophrenia who developed dilated cardiomyopathy on treatment with clozapine. The removal of clozapine caused subsequent physical improvement. However, the readministration of clozapine for managing relapse of psychosis caused a recurrence of dilated cardiomyopathy in this patient. Therefore, this is the 1st report showing that the 2nd trial of clozapine caused recurrence of cardiomyopathy associated with clozapine. Thus, this report adds important support for a causal relation between clozapine and cardiac complications. In conclusion, this report attempts to raise awareness of clozapine-related cardiomyopathy. We present an unequal packet loss resilience scheme for robust transmission of video over the Internet. By jointly exploiting the unequal importance existing in different levels of syntax hierarchy in video coding schemes, GOP-level and Resynchronization-packet-level Integrated Protection (GRIP) is designed for joint unequal loss protection (ULP) in these two levels using forward error correction (FEC) across packets. Two algorithms are developed to achieve efficient FEC assignment for the proposed GRIP framework: a model-based FEC assignment algorithm and a heuristic FEC assignment algorithm. The model-based FEC assignment algorithm is to achieve optimal allocation of FEC codes based on a simple but effective performance metric, namely distortion-weighted expected length of error propagation, which is adopted to quantify the temporal propagation effect of packet loss on video quality degradation. The heuristic FEC assignment algorithm aims at providing a much simpler yet effective FEC assignment with little computational complexity. The proposed GRIP together with any of the two developed FEC assignment algorithms demonstrates strong robustness against burst packet losses with adaptation to different channel status. 相似文献

Abstract— We propose a PDP having a new structure and driving scheme. An auxiliary electrode was inserted between X and Y electrodes. Driving and discharge stability was determined using a test panel. A 42‐in. SD (852 × 480) panel and a 42‐in. HD (1366 × 768) panel were also made having this new structure, and we verified the increase in luminous efficacy and the reduction of ionic losses. We achieved a luminous efficacy of 2.35 lm/W in an SD panel and 1.97 lm/W in a HD panel. Finally, we investigated the characteristics and merits of the new structure. 相似文献

Next generation mobile networks are expected to provide seamless personal mobile communication and quality-of-service (QoS) guaranteed IP-based multimedia services. Providing seamless communication in mobile networks means that the networks have to be able to provide not only fast but also lossless handoff. This paper presents a two-layer downlink queuing model and a scheduling mechanism for providing lossless handoff and QoS in mobile networks, which exploit IP as a transport technology for transferring datagrams between base stations and the high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) at the radio layer. In order to reduce handoff packet dropping rate at the radio layer and packet forwarding rate at the IP layer and provide high system performance, e.g., downlink throughput, scheduling algorithms are performed at both IP and radio layers, which exploit handoff priority scheduling principles and take into account buffer occupancy and channel conditions. Performance results obtained by computer simulation show that, by exploiting the downlink queuing model and scheduling algorithms, the system is able to provide low handoff packet dropping rate, low packet forwarding rate, and high downlink throughput. 相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a novel sensor by using a single-fiber Bragg grating that can simultaneously measure strain and temperature with the aid of an erbium-doped fiber amplifier. By using a linear variation in the amplified spontaneous emission power of the erbium-doped fiber amplifier with temperature, we determine the temperature. By subtracting the temperature effect from the fiber Bragg grating Bragg wavelength shift, we determine the strain. Experiments show rms deviations of 18.2 muepsilon and 0.7 degrees C for strain and temperature, respectively. 相似文献

Very good antistatic acrylic films or fabrics can be prepared by exposing the acrylic samples containing oxidizing agent to aniline vapor. The conductivity, the maximum static charge, and the half-life time are used for estimation of electrostatic properties. The effects of the content of polyaniline and the temperature and time of exposure to aniline vapor on the electrostatic properties have been investigated. Two improved versions of the production switching heuristic(PSH), Dominant PSH and Inventory-Ratio-Based PSH are proposed. Extensive computer experiments are performed to evaluated the proposed rules. Both linear and quadratic cost functions are adopted for the comparison study. Also. the influence of seasonality is investigated on the effectiveness of each rule. The results show that the proposed rules outperform the PSH in terms of the total cost, especially when seasonality factor is significant or the unit inventory carrying cost is high. 相似文献

Summary Fracture toughness of epoxy composite with polysulfone(PSf) particles to form morphology spectrum was investigated. The epoxy resin was based on diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A(DGEBA type) and diaminodiphenylsulfone(DDS). 1K carbon fabric was used as the reinforcing material. The morphology spectrum which has gradual change of the morphological feature resulting from the concentration gradient of PSf in the composite can be obtained by spreading PSf particles in between the carbon fiber reinforced epoxy prepregs before cure. The relative rate of the dissolution and diffusion of the PSf particle in the epoxy determine the concentration gradient of the PSf. The fracture toughness of the composite with 21 wt % large size particles was 2.2 times higher than that of the unmodified composite. This result was ascribed to the plastic deformation of the continuous PSf rich phase formed inside the swollen PSf particle. 相似文献
