In this paper, we develop a real time monitoring system to detect third-party damage on natural gas pipeline. When the damage due to third-party incidents causes an immediate rupture, the developed on-line monitoring system can help reducing the sequences of event at once. Moreover, since many third-party incidents cause damage that does not lead to immediate rupture but can grow with time, the developed on-line monitoring system can execute a significant role in reducing many third-party damage incidents. Also, when the damage is given at a point on natural gas pipeline, the acoustic wave is propagated very fast about 421.3 m/s. Therefore, the data processing time should be very short in order to detect precisely the impact position. Generally, the pipeline is laid under ground or sea and the length is very long. So a wireless data communication method is recommendable and the sensing positions are limited by laid circumstance and setting cost of sensors. The calculation and monitoring software is developed by an algorithm using the propagation speed of acoustic wave and data base system based on wireless communication and DSP systems. The developed monitoring system is examined by field testing at Balan pilot plant, KOGAS being done in order to demonstrate its validity through reactive detection of third-party contact with pipelines. Furthermore, the development system was set at the practical pipelines such as an offshore pipeline between two islands Yul-Do and Youngjong-Do, and a land branch of Pyoungtaek, Korea and it has been operating in real time.  相似文献

Many dispatching rules have been developed for the on-line control of product flow in a job shop. The introduction of a highly informative manufacturing system (HIMS) has added a new requirement to a classical job-shop control problem: the selection of machines by parts of different types. An HIMS can keep a great deal of information on the status of the system, such as information on what is scheduled in the near future with great accuracy, which can be used for shop floor control. For example, the knowledge of the time when the next parts arrive at the machines can be used for better routing. This article tests the effect of the use of this knowledge for part routing on the part's flow time and tardiness under a look-ahead routing procedure (LARP). LARP assigns a new part to a machine so that the assignment minimizes the flow time or tardiness of the current part and the next N parts arriving after the current part. A test shows that the reduction of part flow time is up to 11% and the reduction of tardiness is up to 21% for the cases with this procedure.  相似文献

This article describes the performance comparison of several tracking filters from the viewpoint of gun fire control. It is common that filter performance can be represented by the RMSE of the current state. However, for the design of a gun fire control system, the performance of the tracking filter in terms of prediction is more important since the current state proceeds with a designed dynamic model to a certain future which is used for the final gun order. It is shown that the predicted results amplify the current state RMSE and can be a good measure.  相似文献

The electrical properties such as water tree length, electrical conduction, ac breakdown strength and space charge of silane crosslinked polyethylene (SXLPE) were investigated, with a purpose to compare this material with ordinary dicumyl peroxide (DCP) crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE). Experimental results show that SXLPE has a smaller water tree length, much lower conduction current density, a little bit higher ac breakdown strength than XLPE, and on SXLPE only a very small homocharge is seen. The better behaviour of SXLPE under electric stress is attributed to the absence of residual curing byproducts present in XLPE and the change of chemical structure by grafting and curing reactions  相似文献

For encapsulation of organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs) built on glass substrate, photopolymerizable blend consists of pentaerythritol triacrylate (PETIA) and HSP188 (photoinitiator) was spin-coated onto an OLED and then cured to form a cross-linked passivation layer. The electroluminescence (EL) and the rate of degradation were examined to compare the electrical and the emissive properties of the device before and after forming the passivation layer. In this case, wet process encapsulation, which did not influence the EL characteristic of the device, enhanced the lifetime of the device in air.  相似文献

Horizontally aligned carbon nanotube (CNT) field emitters, which strongly adhere to the substrate and show good field emission properties, were fabricated by electrophoresis deposition and fissure formation techniques. A thin film of CNTs was deposited on a substrate, by electrophoresis, from an aqueous mixture of CNT and detergent, and then the detergent was deposited also by electropholysis. CNTs with a clean surface were exposed in the fissures produced by firing. The field emission was increased significantly due to the additional deposition of the detergent. When the CNTs were cut by increasing the firing time, the field emission increased significantly, while their stability decreased considerably. Four and five axis machining is advanced technology for dealing with complex shaped parts but its application is restricted owing to the high investment cost. The additional-axis method, typically obtained by attaching a rotary/tilt table to an existing three-axis machine, is a powerful alternative for achieving multiaxis machining. However, owing to insufficient study of the additional-axis method, its capability is limited to simple applications, such as multiface milling or drilling. In this paper, we attempt to establish a theoretical background and implementation methodology for achieving a genuine multiaxis NC system. The research is composed of:
1.  Hardware set-up for implementing an additional-axis NC system.
2.  Interface study for implementing multiaxis machining with the required hardware configuration.
3.  Versatile CL-data generation algorithms for NC machining.
4.  Implementation of the algorithms for developing a multiaxis CAM system using the additional-axis NC system.
Together with a detailed presentation on the additional-axis machining system, we will show that the additional-axis system can be used effectively for five-axis machining using two specific application examples.  相似文献
