This discussion paper addresses combinatorial models in system testing from the perspective of system usage (utilization)
and corresponding examination of system functions and their groups. Thus the following aspects of multi-function system testing
are under study: analysis of system requirements and revelation of atomic system functions and their relationships, analysis
of system function groups (clusters), design of the most important test inputs and sequences of the test inputs. The basic
combinatorial problem is: composition of the best (the most important) test input(s) for each group of atomic system functions.
Additional combinatorial problems are the following: (a) design of test input sequence for a trail (chain) of function clusters,
(b) design of collection of test input sequences as covering of function cluster digraph, (c) structural fusion of unit test
results. Numerical and real world examples illustrate the proposed approach.

This article conducts a critical analysis of the use of Internet and mobile phone technologies by Capital radio in Malawi. It examines the uses of the Internet, social networking sites and mobile text-messaging by the radio station. Three central questions constitute the major concerns of the article: (a) To what extent do institutional and organizational contexts shape the uptake and uses of the Internet and mobile phones by radio journalists? (b) How do the uses of the Internet and mobile phones in turn influence the institutional cultures and organizational practices? (c) To what extent, if at all, does radio convergence reconfigure traditional radio to create new spaces that augment audience participation? The article argues that any meaningful critique of the technological affordances to the radio institution must critically engage with the complex questions of the dialectical relationship between technology, structure, and agency especially given the seductive myth of the so- called new media. It concludes that digital media technologies on radio are subject to organisational, institutional, and social shaping, and that questions about the emancipatory power of these technologies especially to audiences and citizens are often exaggerated because the question of power relations between actors or interests is often overlooked. The digital turn and the demotic turn on radio therefore must not be seen as synonymous with the participatory turn, especially in African countries where the regulation of corporate power in mass media is weak and where multiple forms of the digital divide that impede on consistent and meaningful use of digital media still persist. 相似文献

The report describes the findings of an investigation of nanoengineered gold-platinum (AuPt) catalysts in proton exchange membrane fuel cells. The membrane electrode assembly was prepared using carbon-supported AunPt100−n nanoparticles with controlled sizes and bimetallic compositions that were thermally treated under controlled temperature, atmosphere, and time. Examples shown in this report included Au22Pt78/C and Au49Pt51/C catalysts treated at 400-500 °C. The electrocatalytic performances of these catalysts in the fuel cells was found to be dependent on the bimetallic composition and the nanoscale phase properties which are controlled by the thermal treatment parameters (temperature and time). Excellent fuel cell performance was observed for the catalysts which are characteristic of an alloyed AuPt phase with a lattice parameter approaching that for an Pt-rich alloy phase. The results have also demonstrated excellent stability of the nanoengineered AuPt catalysts in fuel cells. The observed combination of high activity and high durability of the selected AuPt catalysts indicated that this nanoengineered bimetallic catalyst system, upon further refinement and optimization of the nanoscale phase properties and durability serve as a promising candidate of electrocatalysts for the practical application in Proton Exchange Membrane fuel cells. 相似文献

A numerical analysis technique is employed to determine the performance of small lateral geometry transistors in silicon integrated circuits. Results presented include the base transport factor and common-emitter gain of lateral transistors operating at current levels below the onset of base-region high injection. An n+ buried layer is introduced and shown to give an improvement in base transport factor but not necessarily in common-emitter current gain. Computer-generated plots indicating areas of high recombination and the distribution of current with the base of the transistor illustrate this effect. The predicted performance of a transistor with an n+ buried layer is compared with data from production devices.The program uses a finite-difference method to solve the minority carrier transport and continuity equations within a two-dimensional rectangular mesh. The dependence of carrier mobility on electric field and impurity concentration magnitude is incorporated. Suggests that D. W. Winnicott's (1953, 1965) understanding of transitional phenomena can help clarify the type of climate that supports therapeutic growth. The case of an 11-yr-old boy referred to therapy for difficulties concentrating in school, self-derogatory statements, and social withdrawal illustrates the importance of nonverbal factors and the child's chronological proximity to the developmental utilization of concrete transitional objects. It is argued that therapists should provide a nurturant milieu for the unfolding of the therapeutic process. Treatment outcome was compared for 74 solicited and 46 nonsolicited unipolar depressed females following 12 wks of protocol treatment (social skills training, psychotherapy, or drug therapy). Results show comparable improvement between the 2 groups on measures of depression, assertiveness, and social adjustment, irrespective of the particular treatment received. In addition, no difference in level of attrition during the study was found. Results support the inclusion of solicited Ss in clinical studies of depression. The fracture and deformation behaviors of several product forms produced from mechanically alloyed (MA) aluminum alloys 9052 and 905XL were studied. The main operative strengthening mechanism is strengthening due to the submicron grain size. Ductility and toughness were found to be controlled by the morphology of the prior particle boundaries. We propose that the work-hardening behavior of these MA alloys is similar to the behavior exhibited by a deformed fcc alloy that (a) contains rigid barriers to dislocation motion, (b) deforms by wavy slip, and (c) forms a cell substructure upon deformation. 相似文献
