Acidic northern wetlands are an important source of methane, one of the gases that contributes to global warming. Methane oxidation in the surface of these acidic wetlands can reduce the methane flux to the atmosphere up to 90 percent. Here the isolation of three methanotrophic microorganisms from three boreal forest sites is reported. They are moderately acidophilic organisms and have a soluble methane monooxygenase. In contrast to the known groups of methanotrophs, 16S ribosomal DNA sequence analysis shows that they are affiliated with the acidophilic heterotrophic bacterium Beijerinckia indica subsp. indica. 相似文献
The pairing of sensitivity and specificity expresses the efficacy of a test, and positive and negative predictive values measure the accuracy of a diagnostic test when applied to a particular patient. To calculate these measures, one has to know the true disease status of each patient. In practice, however, some patients may not be selected for verification of disease status. It has been shown that the estimated sensitivity and specificity may be biased if one includes in the study sample only the patients with verified disease statuses. This paper concerns the properties of the estimators of positive and negative predictive values using only patients with verified disease statuses. First, I show that these estimators are unbiased and provide consistent estimators for the variances of these estimators under the assumption that the probability of selecting a patient for a disease verification procedure does not depend directly on the true disease status of the patient. Identifying the key factors of the disaster-related information propagation process can provide decision support for disaster management. This study characterizes the effects of content types, location, and social capital of social media users on the virality of disaster-related information. We found through the Weibo dataset of the Yiliang earthquake that the virality of different types of information can vary on the basis of the social capital of users who post the information. Layered perovskite Ca2.91Na0.09Ti2-xRhxO7 (x?=?0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06) were synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction. Room temperature ferroelectricity has been confirmed. The remanent polarization increases with an increase of Rh content, which is due to a larger oxygen octahedral distortion by Rh doping. The coercive field increases with Rh doping as the pinning effect of oxygen vacancies reduce the mobility of domain wall. Remanent polarization and coercive field are caused by different mechanisms, so it is possible to modulate them independently to meet the requirement of application in ferroelectric field. The concentration of oxygen vacancy increased with Rh doping, leading to the significant increase of leakage current density. The bandgap of samples doped with Rh drastically decrease and the visible light response of the sample was improved by Rh doping due to the formation of impurity energy levels within the band gap.
