A rapid, sensitive method was developed for the quantification of the R- and S-enantiomers of ketoprofen and their acyl glucuronide conjugates in the plasma and dialysate of hemodialysis-dependent anephric patients. Unconjugated R- and S-ketoprofen plasma concentrations were determined directly by liquid chromatography using a S,S-Whelk-O1 chiral stationary phase. R- and S-Ketoprofen glucuronide for use as standard were resolved using a C18 reversed-phase HPLC column with a mobile phase containing the ion-pair reagent tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate. Plasma glucuronides, however, could not be directly quantified due to matrix interference. Therefore, the glucuronides were isolated using reversed-phase HPLC and quantified after alkaline hydrolysis using the S,S-Whelk-O1 chiral stationary phase column.  相似文献

Micromechanical cantilevers are one of the most fundamental and widely studied structures in micro-electromechanical systems. Dynamic response of such cantilevers has long been an interesting subject to researchers and different analytical and experimental approaches have been reported to determine it. Theoretical estimation of different damping mechanisms have been reported over years which are relevant particularly in studying the dynamics of the micro-mechanical structures. Most properties and functionalities of the MEMS devices are invariably dependant on the dynamic response of the devices, which in turn depends on the quality factor of the devices or in other words the overall damping present in the system. This paper presents a thorough experimental analysis of vibration characteristics of micro-mechanical cantilevers of different dimensions. Arrays of polysilicon micro-cantilevers of different dimensions have been designed and fabricated using surface micromachining process. The beams are resonated by electrostatic actuation and their vibration characteristics have been observed using Laser Doppler Vibrometer. Also a thorough analysis of modal behaviour of the beams is presented using analytical approach and finite element method based simulation. Different damping mechanisms have been critically reviewed and a semi-analytical estimation of the overall damping is presented. The results are compared with experimental values.  相似文献

A self-organizing feature map (SOFM), a kind of artificial neural network (ANN) architecture, is used in this work for continental shelf seafloor sediment classification. Echo data are acquired using an echosounding system from three types of seafloor sediment areas. This work deals with multisensor data fusion to obtain landcover classification. The role of feature-level fusion using the Dempster-Shafer rule and that of data-level fusion in the MRF context is studied in this paper to obtain an optimally segmented image. Subsequently, segments are validated and classification accuracy for the test data is evaluated. Two examples of data fusion of optical images and a synthetic aperture radar image are presented, each set having been acquired on different dates. Classification accuracies of the technique proposed are compared with those of some recent techniques in literature for the same image data.  相似文献

The effect of ohmic contacts on the buffer leakage of GaN transistors is presented. The buffer leakage for AlGaN/GaN high-electron mobility transistors and GaN MESFETs grown on the same underlying buffer was observed to be different. Controlled experiments show that the increased buffer leakage is due to the nature of the alloyed ohmic contacts and can be minimized if they are screened by the Si doping or by the two-dimensional electron gas.  相似文献

An algorithm for multichannel autoregressive moving average (ARMA) modeling which uses scalar computations only and is well suited for parallel implementation is proposed. The given ARMA process is converted to an equivalent scalar, periodic ARMA process. The scalar autoregressive (AR) parameters are estimated by first deriving a set of modified Yule-Walker-type equations and then solving them by a parallel, order recursive algorithm. The moving average (MA) parameters are estimated by a least squares method from the estimates of the input samples obtained via a high-order, periodic AR approximation of the scalar process  相似文献

A space-based microwave radar (SBR) concept is defined using a tether trans/receive antenna supported between two gravity gradient low Earth-orbiting satellites. A cluster of four tether antennas, each of 6 km maximum length and 1.5 km separation between tethers, constitutes a radar. A system of 8 to 11 such clusters constitutes the overall radar scheme, which will cover approximately one third of the Earth's surface for detecting sea-based targets. Issues identified are the array structure, the coherence of tethered arrays, grating lobe energy clamping, clutter effects, communications, system requirements, and the overall radar system concept, including stability considerations. The baseline definition of an alternate space-based radar scheme is presented. A significant amount of R&D efforts will be required to derive practical solutions of the proposed scheme  相似文献

Single point, sender based control does not scale well for multicast delivery. For applications, such as group video or teleconferencing a low total cost multicast tree is required. In this article we present a destination driven algorithm to minimize the total tree cost of multicast tree in a dynamic situation for the whole session duration. In this heuristic approach we considered the staying duration of participants are available at the time of joining. The performance of our algorithm is analyzed through extensive simulation and evaluated against several other existing dynamic multicast routing and also against one well known near optimum heuristic algorithm used for solving Steiner tree problem. We have further tested our algorithm using erroneous information given by the joining participants. Simulation results show that its performance does not degrade that much even when the range of error is considerably high, which proves the robustness of our algorithm.  相似文献
