The microstructural and electrical characteristics (sheet resistivities, TCRs, and noise indices) of some 1 k/sq. and 10 k/sq. thick films were evaluated. The conductive phase was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The microstructures of fired resistors were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and analyzed by energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). Some resistors were fired for a relatively long time at the highest temperature, i.e., 6 h at 850 °C, to allow the reactions in the material to reach equilibria. Sheet resistivities, temperature coefficients of resistivity, and noise indices of these resistors were compared with normally (10 min at 850 °C) fired resistors. After 6 h firing absolute temperature coefficient of resistivity (TCR) values of most resistors increased significantly, while sheet resistivities decreased. Complex impedance analysis showed that in most cases resistors with low noise indices showed nearly ideal resistor response while those with higher noise had a larger imaginary part. 相似文献

Finite element analysis using plate elements based on the absolute nodal coordinate formulation (ANCF) can predict the behaviors of moderately thick plates subject to large deformation. However, the formulation is subject to numerical locking, which compromises results. This study was designed to investigate and develop techniques to prevent or mitigate numerical locking phenomena. Three different ANCF plate element types were examined. The first is the original fully parameterized quadrilateral ANCF plate element. The second is an update to this element that linearly interpolates transverse shear strains to overcome slow convergence due to transverse shear locking. Finally, the third is based on a new higher order ANCF plate element that is being introduced here. The higher order plate element makes it possible to describe a higher than first-order transverse displacement field to prevent Poisson thickness locking. The term “higher order” is used, because some nodal coordinates of the new plate element are defined by higher order derivatives. The performance of each plate element type was tested by (1) solving a comprehensive set of small deformation static problems, (2) carrying out eigenfrequency analyses, and (3) analyzing a typical dynamic scenario. The numerical calculations were made using MATLAB. The results of the static and eigenfrequency analyses were benchmarked to reference solutions provided by the commercially available finite element software ANSYS. The results show that shear locking is strongly dependent on material thickness. Poisson thickness locking is independent of thickness, but strongly depends on the Poisson effect. Poisson thickness locking becomes a problem for both of the fully parameterized element types implemented with full 3-D elasticity. Their converged results differ by about 18 % from the ANSYS results. Corresponding results for the new higher order ANCF plate element agree with the benchmark. ANCF plate elements can describe the trapezoidal mode; therefore, they do not suffer from Poisson locking, a reported problem for fully parameterized ANCF beam elements. For cases with shear deformation loading, shear locking slows solution convergence for models based on either the original fully parameterized plate element or the newly introduced higher order plate element. 相似文献

Nanometric ceria powders with fluorite-type structure were obtained by applying self-propagating room temperature method. The obtained powders were subsequently thermally treated (calcined) at different temperatures for different times. Powder properties such as specific surface area, crystallite size, particle size and lattice parameter have been studied. Roentgen diffraction analysis (XRD), BET and Raman scattering measurements were used to characterize the as-obtained (uncalcined) powder as well as powders calcined at different temperatures.It was found that the average diameter of the as-obtained crystallites is in the range of 3–5 nm whereas the specific surface area is about 70 m2/g. The subsequent, 15 min long, calcination of as-obtained powder at different temperatures gradually increased crystallite size up to ~60 nm and reduced specific surface down to 6 m2/g. Raman spectra of synthesized CeO2?y depicts a strong red shift of active triply degenerate F2 g mode as well as additional peak at 600 cm?1. The frequency of F2 g mode increased while its line width decreased with an increase in calcination temperature. Such a behavior is considered to be the result of particle size increase and agglomeration during the calcination. After the heat treatment at 800 °C crystallite size reached value larger than 50 nm. Second order Raman mode, which originates from intrinsic oxygen vacancies, disappeared after calcination. 相似文献

An increasing requisite regarding the reproduction quality of electrophotographic printing machines demands improvement of new electrophotographic toner formulation, especially used pigments. The subject of this paper is a comparison of prints realised by depositing high chroma (HC) and standard emulsion aggregation (EA) toner on gloss fine art paper. HC toner has a different composition of the cyan and magenta tones compared with the corresponding standard EA toner tones and therefore behaves differently under real conditions. The patches used for this experiment were cyan and magenta tone prints with tone values (TVs) of 0, 20, 60 and 100%. Ultraviolet (UV) degradation was measured over time intervals of 0, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 144 and 240 h for all patches. Results (laboratory values) were calculated using colorimetric difference. Values were plotted as a function of time in tonal degradation graphs. A model was created using non‐linear regression‐based modelling. The experiment demonstrates that magenta patches are more susceptible to degradation in comparison with cyan patches. With the increase in tonal value, it is noticeable that the colorimetric difference is higher. Colorimetric differences calculated using HC magenta toner and standard EA cyan toner (100% TV) were higher than ?E = 5, starting to appear after 6 h of exposure to UV radiance. After 12 h of exposure, colorimetric differences of standard magenta tones that were greater than ?E = 5 also started to appear. Cyan patches (100% TV) printed with HC toner were more stable than the other patches, and after 240 h of exposure had not crossed the boundary of ?E = 5. 相似文献

This study examined associations of temperament at ages 6 to 12 with body-mass index (BMI) and waist circumference (WC) at ages 24 to 30 years. The participants were 619 men and women derived from the population-based Cardiovascular Risk in Young Finns Study. Temperament was operationalized as (negative) emotionality, sociability, and activity. High emotionality predicted increased BMI, independently of WC, and independently of childhood and adulthood risk factors for adult obesity. None of the temperament dimensions had any associations with WC after controlling for BMI. The findings suggest that temperamental difficulty in childhood may be a useful risk indicator for general body mass in adulthood, and the mechanisms relating temperament with body mass should be further explored. Natural radionuclides in milk from farms in the vicinity of a former uranium mine ?irovski vrh in Slovenia, from a farm on the reference location, in powdered milk purchased from Ljubljana shops and in milk intended for infant food, were determined. In the milk samples, 238U, 234U, 226Ra, 210Pb and 210Po were determined. After sample preparation, radiochemical separation and preparation of counting sources, 238U, 234U, 226Ra and 210Po were measured by alpha spectrometric system equipped with passivated implanted planar silicon detectors (PIPS) and 210Pb by a gas-flow proportional counter. Activity concentrations varied from 0.009 to 0.354 Bq/kg dry weight for 238U, 0.019-0.177 Bq/kg dry weight for 234U, 0.041-0.110 Bq/kg dry weight for 226Ra, 0.290-0.652 Bq/kg dry weight for 210Pb and 0.055-0.611 Bq/kg dry weight for 210Po. Assessed combined annual effective doses per unit of intake were from 8.7 to 13.0 μSv/year for adults and from 195 to 648 μSv/year for infants. 相似文献

A mechanical thermostat is a device that switches heating or cooling appliances on or off based on temperature. For this kind of use, electronic or mechanical switching concepts are applied. During the production of electrical contacts, several irregularities can occur leading to improper switching events of the thermostat electrical contacts. This paper presents a non-obstructive method based on the fact that when the switching event occurs it can be heard and felt by human senses. We performed several laboratory tests with two different methods. The first method includes thermostat switch sound signal analysis during the switching event. The second method is based on sampling of the accelerometer signal during the switching event. The results show that the sound analysis approach has great potential. The approach enables an accurate determination of the switching event even if the sampled signal carries also the switching event of the neighbour thermostat. 相似文献

In the petrochemical industry, an industrial pyrolysis furnace is a complicated piece of equipment that functions as both a reactor and high-pressure steam generator. This paper focuses on the strategies of incumbents that seek to develop discontinuous innovations within the boundaries of a mature innovation system. Mature innovation systems do not provide support for these discontinuous innovations. This article focuses on exploring why incumbents in these setting engage in discontinuous innovation and what strategies they deploy to become successful. We analyse 10 cases of incumbents developing discontinuous innovations in the mature Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector. The results of our analysis show that the incumbents are primarily triggered by dissatisfaction with the current way of doing business and that the existing institutions are the main barrier to discontinuous innovation. In response, the incumbents try to circumvent the existing innovation system in their innovation process, but when successful also engage in changing the existing innovation system. This paper contributes to the understanding of the role of incumbents as source of discontinuous innovation in mature innovation systems. 相似文献
