Boolean network tomography is a promising technique to achieve fault management in networks where the existing IP-based troubleshooting mechanism cannot be used. Aiming to apply Boolean network tomography to fault management, a variety of heuristic methods for configuring monitoring trails and paths have been proposed to localize link failures in managed networks. However, these existing heuristic methods must be executed in a centralized server that administers the entire managed network and the methods present scalability problems when applied to large-scale managed networks. Thus, this paper proposes a novel scheme for achieving lightweight Boolean network tomography in a decentralized manner. The proposed scheme partitions the managed network into multiple management areas and localizes link failures independently within each area. This paper also proposes a heuristic network partition method with the aim of efficiently implementing the proposed scheme. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified using typical fault management scenarios where all single-link failures and all dual-link failures are localized by the least number of monitoring paths on predetermined routes. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can greatly reduce the computational load on the fault management server when Boolean network tomography is deployed in large-scale managed networks. Furthermore, the degradation of optimality in the proposed scheme can be mitigated in comparison with a centralized scheme that utilizes heuristics to reduce the computational load on the centralized server. 相似文献

The structure of silicon carbide–silicon nitride (SiC–Si3 N4 ) composite particles synthesized using a CO2 laser was studied by magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS-NMR) and electron spin resonance (ESR). The structure around Si atoms changed by introducing N. C atoms around Si were substituted by N atoms, and N-rich configurations around Si atoms increased stepwise as the N content increased. The low N content composite particles consisted of mainly SiC phase containing dissolved N. N atoms were partly present in β-SiC microcrystal and partly in the grain boundary layer in the particle. N atoms were tetrahedrally surrounded by four Si atoms in β-SiC microcrystal and were trivalent state bonded to three Si atoms in the grain boundary layer. The high N content particles consisted of SiC, Si3 N4 , and amorphous phases, whose amount depended on N content. 相似文献

This paper presents the characterization of crack growth in carbon nanotube (CNT)-based polymer composites under fatigue loading. Fatigue crack growth tests were performed on single-edge cracked plate specimens of CNT/polycarbonate composites at room temperature and liquid nitrogen temperature (77 K). An elastic–plastic finite element analysis was also conducted to determine the J-integral range. The crack growth rate data were expressed in terms of the J-integral range, and the effect of nanotube addition on the fatigue crack growth behavior was examined. In addition, possible mechanisms of the crack growth in the nanocomposites are discussed based on microscopic observations of the specimen fracture surfaces. 相似文献

An aqueous methanol extract from green tea showed potent acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitory activity. An active compound was isolated from the extract and identified as (-)-epigallocatechin gallate by instrumental analyses. The IC50 value of (-)-epigallocatechin gallate was 3.1 x 10(-4) M. Among tea catechins and related compounds, nearly equal activity was found in (-)-epigallocatechin gallate and (-)-epicatechin gallate, whereas (+)-catechin, (-)-epicatechin, (-)-epigallocatechin, gallic acid and methyl gallate each had no inhibitory activity. These results indicate that the 3-O-gallate group of the catechin structure was necessary for this activity. (-)-Epigallocatechin gallate inhibited triglyceride accumulation in 3T3-L1 cells at a concentration of 1.0 x 10(-7) M or higher. 相似文献

The significance of serum p53-Abs in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma was determined. Examination of clinicopathological features and assessment of tumor marker sensitivities of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC-Ag) and CYFRA21-1 were performed. Thirty-three (58%) of 57 patients were positive for serum p53-Abs, however, no relation with cancer progression existed. Fourteen of the 33 sero-positive patients revealed normal levels of all tumor markers tested. Thus, serum p53-Abs appears to be a useful marker for the detection of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. 相似文献

To investigate the initiation behavior of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) for sensitized Type 304 stainless steel in high temperature water, a constant load SCC test method combined with in situ crack observation technique was employed. The in situ crack observation system allowed us to detect small cracks of at least 100 μm. As a result, a fracture time decreased with an increase in an applied stress. The first cracks were observed at most 3 h before the specimen was fractured under all the stress conditions. After that, many cracks were initiated in a short time to fracture. The fracture was caused by coalescence of multiple cracks rather than by growth of some primary cracks. The simulation model for surface crack initiation was newly developed using a Monte Carlo method, which was based on damage mechanics and stress analysis around the existing cracks. The simulation could represent the empirical results of changes in the crack distribution and the cumulative number of cracks during the SCC tests. It was concluded, therefore, that the crack initiation process should be considered in simulating the life prediction of the material in this SCC system. 相似文献

Bis-(monoacylglyceryl) phosphate and acyl phosphatidylglycerol were isolated from the liver of two patients with lipidosis
induced by 4,4′-diethylaminoethoxyhexesterol. Identification was based upon the results of alkaline hydrolysis, acetolysis,
IR spectrometry, and upon the determination of molar ratio of phosphorus-glycerol-ester. The contents of the bis-(monoacylglyceryl)
phosphate were 10 and 16% total phospholipid phosphorus in them. The bis-(monoacylglyceryl) phosphate contained mainly docosahexaenoic
(42%), oleic (29%), and linoleic acid (14%) and had the hemolytic activity of ca. one-eighth lysolecithin from egg yolk. Acidic
lipids from the liver also were found to contain a lipid which is less polar than bis-(monoacylglyceryl) phosphate. The results
of lipid analysis showed that the lipid possessed the structure of an acyl phosphatidylglycerol, and its content was ca. 2%
total phospholipid phosphorus. Accumulation of 4,4′-diethylaminoethoxyhexesterol and its derivatives was found in clinical
cases by thin layer chromatography and IR spectrometry. This fact suggested that human liver has an ability to metabolize

Metallic tin was deposited in fine particulate form on the surface of carbonaceous mesophase spherules (CMS) and in the pores of porous carbon by the decomposition and reduction of tin(II) 2-ethylhexanoate at 450 °C. The Sn/C composite powders obtained were used as anode materials for lithium ion cells. Electrochemical cycling tests of coin cells show that the dispersion of tin into the carbonaceous materials enhances the reversible capacity of the electrodes. The capacity retention at the 50th cycle is 91 % for Sn/CMS composite containing 22% tin, against 428 mAh g–1 at the first cycle. With further increase in tin content, the capacity fade upon cycling is more rapid. 相似文献
