An alkyd formulation containing zinc phosphate (10 wt.%) was prepared and subsequently modified replacing the latter anticorrosive additive by a very low concentration of conducting polymer. Specifically, three modified paints, which contain polyaniline emeraldine base (undoped form), polyaniline emeraldine salt (doped form) and an eco-friendly polythiophene derivative (partially oxidized), were formulated. The properties and corrosion resistance of the four alkyd coatings have been characterized. Among the three modified paints, the one containing polythiophene shows the best adherence and the highest corrosion resistance. This has been attributed to the fact that the miscibility of the polythiophene derivative with the alkyd formulation is better than that of polyaniline. Furthermore, accelerated corrosion assays and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements revealed that the corrosion resistance of the paint with polythiophene is several orders of magnitude higher than that with zinc phosphate. The polythiophene derivative has been found to induce the formation of a passivating and well-adhered layer between the coating and the surface, preventing the access of chloride anions and oxygen to the substrate.  相似文献

The authors present the theoretical analysis and experimental demonstration of a novel single-bandpass tunable microwave filter. The filter is based on a broadband optical source and a fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer and shows a high Q factor over a tuning range of 5-17 GHz. A generalized analysis considering that the optical signal propagates along optical delay lines with a dispersion slope different from zero is presented.  相似文献

The transportation produced in the apical and middle areas of 30 mesiobuccal root canals of human mandibular molars was evaluated after circumferential instrumentation using stainless steel K-files (group A), nickel-titanium K-files (group B), and clockwise/counterclockwise file rotation using Flexogates (group C). The canals were instrumented with files #15 to #35 in size. Apical transportation was assessed radiographically while that occurring in the middle area was studied microscopically in cross-sections. Although apical transportation was greatest in the canals of group A, this difference was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). With respect to the middle area of the root canal, considerable transportation was observed in 7 of the 30 instrumented roots. Of these, five belonged to group A and two to group B, a difference which was not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The best results for transportation in the middle area of the canal were obtained in group C, in which no transportation occurred. This difference was significant when compared with the transportation observed in group A (P = 0.02) but not with that in group B (P > 0.05).  相似文献

A nitrogenous controlled release fertilizer (Floranid 32) and a treatment of municipal organic waste compost were tested under two irrigation managements (conventional and ET-adjusted irrigation rates) with the aim of assessing risk of nitrate leaching to the aquifer. A check without N fertilizer was introduced. The experiment was carried out at La Poveda Field Station (30 km SE Madrid, Spain) in alluvial soils with water table depth at 4 m and under maize cropping. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design with three replications, allocating 12 plots to each irrigation management. Although N fertilizer rate (150 kg ha–1) was reduced at half as related to a previous experiment, no difference in grain yields was observed. This result relates to a high content of soil-N. Floranid showed promising results in controlling N-leaching in comparison with urea that exhibited an accelerated rate of N release which finally determines low use of N by the plant and marked NO3 leaching. Treatment of municipal waste compost showed NO3 concentrations in the soil water solution of similar values as those of urea at 140 cm. ET-adjusted irrigation showed no drainage during the corn growing season and lower NO3 concentrations in the soil water solution which could indicate a general lower rate of N solubilization.  相似文献

The aim of this article is to outline the possibilities of indoor power lines when used to support local area networks in homes or small offices. For this purpose, the channel characteristics are described and a channel model is presented. This model is related to the physical nature of common indoor power lines, so its parameters can be defined in a straightforward way. Based on it, the performance of communication systems that use discrete multitone modulation, which appears to be the most suitable technique for these channels, is evaluated. Repellent of root-knot nematodes from exudate of host roots   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A chemotaxis assay was developed to measure attraction or repulsion of infective juveniles of the root-knot nematodeMeloidogyne incognita to exudates of host roots. The assay was sufficiently sensitive to measure the repellent activity of a 25-l sample of 7 mM NaCl. In tests of root exudate collected in a variety of ways from a variety of plants, avoidance responses were usually found but attraction was not. Extraction of the exudate from tomato with various organic solvents revealed that the repellent activity was highly polar. On Sephadex G-15 chromatography this exudate separated into two clearly defined peaks with apparent molecular weights of about 500 and 1000 daltons. The faster running peak (larger apparent size) contained much more activity than the other peak. Subsequent analysis of material from the larger peak via HPLC on a C18 column revealed a single peak of repellent activity. None of the chemical fractionations uncovered reproducible attractant activity.  相似文献

We have investigated three interferometric all-optical switches based on cross-phase modulation (XPM) in semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs), the semiconductor laser amplifier in a loop mirror (SLALOM) switch, the Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) switch, and the ultrafast nonlinear interferometer (UNI) switch. Switching windows with different widths are measured under similar conditions for all three switching configurations. We introduce the integrated contrast ratio (ICR) as a measure to evaluate the performance of a switch from switching windows. Using the ICR, the switches are compared and their application is discussed as demultiplexer in optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) systems for data rates of 40, 80, and 160 Gb/s  相似文献
