Novel composites on basis of austenitic stainless TRIP‐steel as matrix with reinforcements of Mg‐PSZ are presented. Compact rods were produced by cold isostatic pressing and sintering, square honeycomb samples by the ceramic extrusion technique. The samples are characterized by optical and scanning electron microscopy before and after deformation, showing the microstructure and the deformation‐ induced martensite formation. The mechanical properties of samples with 5 vol% zirconia are superior compared to zirconia‐free samples and composites with higher zirconia contents in terms of bending and compression tests. The honeycomb samples exhibit extraordinary high specific energy absorption in compression. 相似文献

A series of 2-amino-3-substituted-6-[(E)-1-phenyl-2-(N-methylcarbamoyl)vinyl]+ ++imid azo[1,2-a]pyridines 1a-i, structurally related to Enviroxime and its analogous benzimidazoles, was designed and prepared for testing as antirhinovirus agents. The imidazo ring in this class of compounds was constructed starting from the aminopyridine after tosylation and subsequent treatment with the appropriate acetamides. The key steps in the synthesis include the development and use of a new Horner-Emmons reagent for the direct incorporation of methyl vinylcarboxamide. The reaction was stereospecific in the substrates 5a-f leading exclusively to the desired E-isomer and avoiding the use of reverse-phase preparative HPLC for the separation of both possible isomers before antiviral activity evaluation. The isopropylsulfonyl group, known as the best substituent at the 1-position in the benzimidazole SAR in terms of activity, was introduced in this new series of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines via halogen-metal exchange and subsequent treatment with isopropyl isopropanethiolsulfonate. Compounds 1a-i were evaluated in plaque reduction assay and in a cytopathic effect assay. Compounds 1b-d,h exhibited a strong antirhinovirus activity, and no apparent cellular toxicity was visible. The substitution at the 3-position was required for activity. Surprisingly the isopropylsulfonyl in this family of compounds did not enhance the activity as in the case of benzimidazoles. Instead, compound 1i was 4 times less active than its phenyl and sulfide partners. The chemistry as well as the biological evaluation are discussed. 相似文献

Two types of experiments were carried out to study the oxidation behaviour of NiCr-base model alloys; thermogravimetric measurements for up to 72 h exposure at 1000 °C in synthetic air and isothermal exposures for up to 100 h at 1000 °C in laboratory air and in Ar–4%H2–2%H2O. It was found that there is a significant effect of specimen thickness on the oxidation rate of all studied alloys. The growth rates of the chromia scales decrease with increasing specimen thickness in both air and the Ar–H2–H2O mixture. Based on the present results in combination with recent literature data for ferritic steels, it is postulated that the decrease in rate is the result of compressive growth stresses in the scales which can relax by plastic deformation of the substrate for thin specimens but are maintained at significant levels for thick specimens. 相似文献

Pore bifurcation, growth and pore termination in nanoporous alumina with concave and convex surfaces
The growth of nanoporous alumina on concave or convex aluminium surfaces has been investigated. The number of pores during anodic oxidation increases or decreases almost linearly with the thickness of the oxide which is due to bifurcation or termination of single pores during alumina growth. The anodic oxidation has been constantly conducted in oxalic acid at 40 V. Therefore the average interpore distance has not changed during alumina growth. In earlier papers it has been shown that a bifurcation of pores is the result of the change of voltage and the electrolyte. In this work we have demonstrated that a termination or a bifurcation of pores is also possible by structuring the aluminium to a curved surface with concave or convex properties before oxidation. The microstructures of commercial low and medium carbon ferromanganese have been studied by optical microscopy and electron
microprobe techniques. Element analysis and mapping have been performed on impurities in the matrix and nonmetallic inclusions
present. The results show that the most common nonmetallic inclusion is managanese oxide, followed by complex compounds of
managanese oxide, silicon oxide, and manganese sulfide. The different inclusions have been assessed according to the SS 111116
method. It follows that over 85 pct of the present nonmetallic inclusions are manganese oxides and that the amount of manganese
oxide inclusions is inversely proportional to the carbon content in standard refined ferromanganese. 相似文献
