In this study, an effective enrichment technique was applied to isolate different bacterial strains with capabilities to denitrogenate carbazole (CAR), as a model compound for nitrogenous polyaromatic hydrocarbons (NPAHs). Twenty-four different CAR-denitrogenating bacterial strains were isolated from mineral coke samples. From all, a Gram +ve bacterial isolate designated BS1 showed a higher biodenitrogenation (BDN) efficiency relevant to the well-known biodenitrogenating bacterium strain Pseudomonas resinovorans CA10, recording 77.15 and 60.66% removal of 1000 ppm CAR with the production of 119.79 and 102.43 ppm anthranilic acid, and 121.19 and 90.33 ppm catechol, as by-products, respectively. BS1 was identified by 16S rDNA gene sequence analysis to be Bacillus clausii BS1 (NCBI GenBank Accession no. KF985981) with a similarity of 99.14%. The CAR-BDN pathway was also elucidated using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography mass spectrometry analysis (GC/MS), which proved further metabolism of catechol to muconic acid. 相似文献

The design of complex system requires a lot of interactions between experts and then between numerous Computer Aided X software (CAX) (where X can be Design (CAD), Engineering (CAE), Manufacturing (CAM), etc.). In order to improve the consistency of the whole system design and the related data and information, knowledge crossing the expertises must be tracked and formalized regarding a shared reference. That means that instead of defining a large reference models to which each expert refers to, a light collaborative model is defined enabling to connect data from each expert model to adhoc data from other expert models, following the least commitment principle. In this topic, a new meta-model is proposed in a Model-Driven Engineering approach to manage the integration of heterogeneous experts’ knowledge models in a collaborative process. The structure of the proposed knowledge meta-model is defined taking into account the complexity of knowledge definition and the properties of its components. This meta-model is split in a meta-model of data on one hand and a Collaboration Meta-Model in the other hand, to represent the distinction between the core concepts of knowledge and additional elements serving to represent the relation between these concepts, and between concepts of heterogeneous experts’ models. In this paper, we provide a super-resolution image reconstruction algorithm based on wavelet transform. Wavelet transform can separate high frequency and low frequency information of image. The more high frequency information can be obtained by using wavelet transform and the technique of image fusion. Meanwhile, reconstructed super-resolution image is produced by the iterative method. In iteration process, noise of image can be suppressed by applying method of wavelet threshold de-noising. The experiment results show that the algorithm can overcome the disadvantage of the classical interpolation method and effectively improve the resolution and PSNR of the image. 相似文献

A cellulose triacetate (CTA)–poly(ethylene imine) (PEI) membrane containing a polyether macrobicyclic (cryptand) as a carrier and 2‐nitrophenyloctyl ether (NPOE) as a plasticizer was prepared. The CTA–PEI–cryptand–NPOE membrane was characterized with chemical techniques as well as Fourier transform infrared, X‐ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, and scanning electron microscopy. Iodine distribution was studied in isolated porcine eyes after iontophoresis using 131I-labelled solutions and chemical methods. After a 15-min treatment with a therapeutically used iodine brine, the iodine content in the ocular tissues showed the following rank order: cornea > retina > vitreous body > anterior chamber fluid > lens. Replacement of the brine by 0.15 M NaI increased the uptake values in a different way, but the same rank order was maintained. The increase was highest in the cornea (5.6-fold) and only about 2-fold in the lens, nevertheless approaching now the level of 10(-4) M, a concentration which was regarded as being optimal for the antioxidant effect of I-. Among the other eye components, the relatively high iodine enrichment of the retina was remarkable. The data are discussed with respect to a possible protective, antioxidative and OH-scavenging efficacy of I- and to previous results in the literature concerning iodine uptake in ocular tissues. 相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To determine the reproducibility of radial artery mass (RAM), in hypertensive patients. DESIGN AND METHODS: In 49 patients, RAM was measured using a high resolution echotracking device (Nius-02) which allows noninvasive measurement of diameter and wall thickness of the radial artery. RAM was validated in vitro by comparing weight of arterial segments to ultrasonographic measurement and determined as RAM = r (pi Re2-pi Ri2) where r is the arterial wall density (1.06 g/cm3), and Re and Ri are values of internal and external radii, respectively. Repeatability coefficient (RC2 = SDi2/n) was 1.3 mg. RESULTS: Blood pressure was (mean +/- SD) 146 +/- 19/85 +/- 15 mmHg, radial arterial diameter was 2,449 +/- 376 microns, radial wall thickness was 302 +/- 68 microns, RAM was 28 +/- 9 mg (range 13-43 mg). CONCLUSION: These results indicate that radial artery mass can be measured using a high resolution echotracking device. 相似文献

The neck-tongue syndrome involves paroxystic pain in the nape of neck associated with sensitive disorders of the ipsilateral hemitongue aggravated by movements of the nape of neck. It is attributed to relating fibers of proprioceptive origin which pass through the great nervus hypoglossus from the second cervical stria. The lingual pseudoathetosis is also reported to a proprioceptive deafferentation of the tongue. In most of cases, no etiology has been found. We report a case of neck-tongue syndrome with pseudoathetosis, related to an atloaxoid osteoarthritis of tuberculous origin. 相似文献

The influence of antihypertensive treatment on the long-term evolution of arterial pressure and renal function was studied in a prospective controlled trial conducted in renal transplant recipients treated by cyclosporine. Within six months after transplantation, patients were randomly allocated to treatment by the angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, lisinopril (ACEI, alone or associated with frusemide; N = 14), or the calcium antagonist, nifedipine (CA, alone or associated with atenolol; N = 11). Glomerular filtration rate (TcDTPA clearance) and effective renal plasma flow (hippuran clearance) as well as 24-hour urinary excretion of electrolytes and albumin were estimated at about 1 and 2.5 years of follow-up. Before initiation of antihypertensive therapy, the two groups were similar with regards to mean arterial pressure (119 +/- 2 vs. 120 +/- 4 mm Hg), effective renal plasma flow (285 +/- 26 vs. 248 +/- 33 ml/min/1.73 m2) and glomerular filtration rate (59 +/- 4 vs. 61 +/- 8 ml/min/1.73 m2 in the ACEI and CA groups, respectively). Both ACEI and CA treatments were associated with no change in renal function, a similar change in mean arterial pressure (ACEI -18 +/- 3; CA -13 +/- 5 mm Hg) and identical trough blood levels of cyclosporine. Urinary albumin excretion did not change significantly in any groups. Of interest, only in the ACEI group did filtration fraction significantly decrease (from 0.22 +/- 0.01% to 0.19 +/- 0.01% at final studies). These results indicate that in cyclosporine-treated transplant recipients, a satisfactory control of hypertension is obtained by chronic ACEI, which is as effective on arterial pressure as a combination of CA and atenolol.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS) 相似文献

Abstract Mode II stable crack extension has been examined for an aircraft grade aluminium alloy D16AT. Both theoretical and experimental results are presented. The experimental observations include load displacement diagrams, plastic wake, crack front tunnelling and scanning electron micrographs of the fracture surfaces. The crack shows a tendency for in-plane extension, and the fracture surface is very flat, smooth and free of any dimples. The crack front advances with neghgible tunnelling at all stages of extension. The span of mode II stable crack growth (SCG) is longer than in the case of mode I SCG reported earlier for the same material and there is also more extensive plastic deformation. In the presence of a slight mode I load, the crack grows out-of-plane and the fractured surface facets resemble that of a mode I or mixed-mode dimpled fracture. The theoretical study is based on a finite element analysis using small deformation theory and incremental plasticity. Some of the experimental results have been theoretically predicted using the COA criterion as the governing criterion. The theoretical results include load-displacement diagrams, crack edge displacement curves, plastic zones and the J resistance curves. There is good agreement between the load-displacement diagrams. The initiation and maximum loads differ by less than 15%. The J resistance curve has a constant slope over the whole span of stable crack growth. 相似文献
