利用电视制导导弹视频图像确定导弹落点,从而开展精确目标毁伤评估研究,是目前全新的一种评估手段。图像特征匹配是利用视频图像确定导弹落点的关键步骤。针对导弹视频图像的特点及其作战应用,在特征匹配阶段,依据准确性和实时性两个原则,对快速鲁棒性特征算法做了两方面的改进:一是限制特征点提取区域,定义了图像区域限制算子;二是限制特征点数量,利用算法阈值和随机抽样一致性算法对特征点进行限制。实验结果表明,提出的算法对典型视频片段进行处理,较原算法在匹配时间上平均减少12.6%,匹配准确率平均提升13.4%,较尺度不变特征变换算法匹配时间平均提升了74.9%,同时,有效消除伪匹配点。通过对三段视频进行测试仿真,改进算法在整体上较原算法的匹配时间加快14.9%,且通用性较强,适用于视频图像的特征点匹配。  相似文献

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) aim to improve safety, mobility and environmental performance of road transport. The INSIGMA project provides a fresh look at the possible innovations in this field, by enhancing the functionality and accuracy of ITS in urban environments. This paper describes the architecture, sensors, processing algorithms, output modules and advantages of the developed system. A comparison of existing ITS systems has been provided as background. Web services, which can be described as functionality modules invoked over a network as part of a larger application are often used in software development. Instead of occasionally incorporating some of these services in an application, they can be thought of as fundamental building blocks that are combined in a process known as Web service composition. Manually creating compositions from a large number of candidate services is very time consuming, and developing techniques for achieving this objective in an automated manner becomes an active research field. One promising group of techniques encompasses evolutionary computing, which can effectively tackle the large search spaces characteristic of the composition problem. Therefore, this paper proposes the use of genetic programming for Web service composition, investigating three variations to ensure the creation of functionally correct solutions that are also optimised according to their quality of service. A variety of comparisons are carried out between these variations and two particle swarm optimisation approaches, with results showing that there is likely a trade-off between execution time and the quality of solutions when employing genetic programming and particle swarm optimisation. Even though genetic programming has a higher execution time for most datasets, the results indicate that it scales better than particle swarm optimisation.  相似文献

The application of multidisciplinary design optimisation is mostly confined to bi-disciplinary systems such as fluid-structure interaction problems. High fidelity models of three disciplines involving electromagnetic-thermal-structural designs are rare. Here, the multidisciplinary optimisation of such a design is presented. The device comprises a C-shaped iron core and a single coil. The problem is decomposed using a monolithic multidisciplinary feasible architecture. The multidisciplinary analyses involve a single three-dimensional finite element mesh for transient non-linear electromagnetic, non-linear-static thermal, and linear-static structural models. During each multidisciplinary iteration the mesh is linearly morphed. A gradient based optimisation algorithm in combination with a multi-start routine is applied to the constrained mass minimisation problem. Multidisciplinary feasibility is ensured by convergence of a single coupling parameter i.e. air-gap deformation. In conclusion, some multidisciplinary optimisation, analyses, and decomposition considerations are discussed.  相似文献

The advances in display technologies and the growing popularity of 3D video systems have attracted more consumers for 3D viewing experiences, and, consequently, the demand for storage and transmission of 3D video content is increasing. To cope with this demand, a 3D video extension of high-efficiency video coding (HEVC) standard is being developed and near the final standardization stage. The upcoming 3D-HEVC standard is expected to provide higher encoding efficiency than its predecessors, supporting multiple views with high resolution, at a cost of considerable increase in computational complexity, which can be an obstacle to its use in real-time applications. This article proposes a novel complexity reduction algorithm developed to optimize the 3D-HEVC intra mode decision targeting real-time video processing for consumer devices with limited computational power, such as 3D camcorders and smartphones equipped with multiple cameras and depth acquisition capabilities. The proposed algorithm analyzes the texture frames and depth maps to estimate the orientation of edges present in the prediction unit data, speeding up the intra prediction process and reducing the 3D-HEVC encoding processing time. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can save 26 % in computational complexity on average with negligible loss of encoding efficiency. This solution contributes to make more feasible the compression of 3D videos targeting real-time applications in power-constrained devices.  相似文献

Despite the large number of works devoted to understand P2P live streaming applications, most of them put forth so far rely on characterizing the static view of these systems. In this work, we characterize the SopCast, one of the most important P2P live streaming applications. We focus on its dynamics behavior as well as on the community formation phenomena. Our results show that SopCast presents a low overlay topology diameter and low end-to-end shortest path. In fact, diameter is smaller than 6 hops in almost 90 % of the observation time. More than 96 % of peers’ end-to-end connections present only 3 hops. These values combined may lead to low latencies and a fast streaming diffusion. Second, we show that communities in SopCast are well defined by the streaming data exchange process. Moreover, the SopCast protocol does not group peers according to their Autonomous System. In fact, the probability that a community contains 50 % of its members belonging to the same AS (when we observe the largest AS of our experiments) is lower then 10 %. Peers exchange more data with partners belonging to the same community instead of peers inside the same AS. For the largest AS we have, less than 18 % of peer traffic has been exchanged with another AS partners. Finally, our analysis provides important information to support the future design of more efficient P2P live streaming systems and new protocols that exploit communities’ relationships.  相似文献

This educational paper describes the implementation aspects, user interface design considerations and workflow potential of the recently published TopOpt 3D App. The app solves the standard minimum compliance problem in 3D and allows the user to change design settings interactively at any point in time during the optimization. Apart from its educational nature, the app may point towards future ways of performing industrial design. Instead of the usual geometrize, then model and optimize approach, the geometry now automatically adapts to the varying boundary and loading conditions. A density-based partitioning strategy is proposed for large domain networks in order to deal with the scalability issue found in autonomic networks considering, as a scenario, the autonomic Quality of Service (QoS) management context. The approach adopted focus as on obtaining dense network partitions having more paths for a given vertices set in the domain. It is demonstrated that dense partitions improve autonomic processing scalability, for instance, reducing routing process complexity. The solution looks for a significant trade-off between partition autonomic algorithm execution time and path selection quality in large domains. Simulation scenarios for path selection execution time are presented and discussed. Authors argue that autonomic networks may benefit from the dense partition approach proposed by achieving scalable, efficient and near real-time support for autonomic management systems.  相似文献

Accurate estimation of the attitude of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is crucial for their control and displacement. Errors in the attitude estimate may misuse the limited battery energy of UAVs or even cause an accident. For attitude estimation, proprioceptive sensors such as inertial measurement units (IMUs) are widely applied, but they are susceptible to inertial guidance error. With antenna arrays currently being installed in UAVs for communication with ground base stations, we can take advantage of the array structure in order to improve the estimates of IMUs via data fusion. In this paper, we therefore propose an attitude estimation system based on a hexagon-shaped 7-element electronically steerable parasitic antenna radiator (ESPAR) array. The ESPAR array is well-suited for installment in the UAVs with broad wings and short bodies. Our proposed solution returns an estimation for the pitch and roll based on the inter-element phase delay estimates of the line-of-sight path of the impinging signal over the antenna array. By exploiting the parallel and centrosymmetric structure in the hexagon-shaped ESPAR array, the 3-dimensional Unitary ESPRIT algorithm is applied for phase delay estimation to achieve high accuracy as well as computational efficiency. We devise an attitude estimation algorithm by exploiting the geometrical relationship between the UAV attitude and the estimated phase delays. An analytical closed-form expression of the attitude estimates is obtained by solving the established simultaneous nonlinear equations. Simulations results show the feasibility of our proposed solution for different signal-to-noise ratio levels as well as multipath scenarios.  相似文献

Over-The-Top (OTT) video services are becoming more and more important in today’s broadband access networks. While original OTT services only offered short duration medium quality videos, more recently, premium content such as high definition full feature movies and live video are offered as well. For operators, who see the potential in providing Quality of Experience (QoE) assurance for an increased revenue, this introduces important new network management challenges. Traditional network management paradigms are often not suited for ensuring QoE guarantees as the provider does not have any control on the content’s origin. In this article, we focus on the management of an OTT-based video service. We present a loosely coupled architecture that can be seamlessly integrated into an existing OTT-based video delivery architecture. The framework has the goal of resolving the network bottleneck that might occur from high peaks in the requests for OTT video services. The proposed approach groups the existing Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) based video connections to be multicasted over an access network’s bottleneck and then splits them again to reconstruct the original HTTP connections. A prototype of this architecture is presented, which includes the caching of videos and incorporates retransmission schemes to ensure robust transmission. Furthermore, an autonomic algorithm is presented that allows to intelligently select which OTT videos need to be multicasted by making a remote assessment of the cache state to predict the future availability of content. The approach was evaluated through both simulation and large scale emulation and shows a significant gain in scalability of the prototype compared to a traditional video delivery architecture.  相似文献
