This paper describes the regional tectonics, active structures and thermal springs of the Tengchong geothermal field and surrounding area. Regional tectonic evidence shows that Tengchong and the surrounding area was a microcontinent between the Gondwanaland and Eurasian plates. The distribution of the thermal springs is controlled by active faults in the “arched” and circular structures. The majority of the thermal areas have a deep circulation within the fault system. Only a few high-temperature hydrothermal systems issuing sodium chloride may be heated by a local magmatic source. 相似文献

The tensile behavior of a transversely isotropic rock is investigated by a series of direct tensile tests on cylindrical argillite specimens. To study the deformability of argillite under tension, two components of an electrically resistant type of strain gage with a parallel arrangement, or a semiconductor strain gage, are adopted for measuring the small transverse strain observed on specimens during testing. The curves of axial stress vs axial strain and vs average volumetric strain are presented for argillite specimens with differently inclined angles of foliation. Experimental results indicate that the stress-strain behavior depends on the foliation inclination of specimens with respect to the loading direction. The five elastic constants of argillite are calculated by measuring two cylindrical specimens in the manner recommended by Wei and Hudson. Based on theoretical analysis results, the range of the foliation inclination of the specimens tested is investigated for feasibility obtaining the five elastic moduli. A dipping angle of the foliations (θ) of 30–60° with respect to the plane normal to the loading direction is recommended. The final failure modes of the specimens are investigated in detail. A sawtoothed failure plane occurs for the specimens with a high inclination of foliation with respect to the plane perpendicular to the loading direction. On the other hand, a smooth plane occurs along the foliation for specimens with low inclination of foliation with respect to the plane normal to the loading direction. A conceptual failure criterion of tensile strength is proposed for specimens with a high inclination of foliation. 相似文献

Novel electrorheological materials based on crosslinked chitosan doped with Y2(CO3)3 were synthesized with biocompatible chitosan as the substrate of the materials. The electrorheological performance, surface energy, and thermal decomposition behavior of the materials were investigated as functions of the composition change. The results show that doping Y2(CO3)3 can improve effectively the electrorheological performance of crosslinked chitosan with the formation of a metal–polymer complex when the doping degree is suitable. This paper presents a new method for modeling a rod and wire continuous rolling process. Three-dimensional FE models of the whole rolling process are established by the proposed method that consists of a pushing technique of rigid body and a method of data transfer, and it is utilized to analyze the deformation and the temperature distribution of billet during the multi-pass rolling process. The pushing technique of rigid body is developed to keep the contact status between the deformable body and a rigid body and to push the deformable body forward during inter-pass time. The method of data mapping is adopted to transfer element field variations between meshes of different models by an interpolation function. The model was applied to simulate 18 stands rolling process of a 304 stainless steel and provides an insight into the process by studying the billet deformation and the temperature distribution. It shows fairly good agreement between the predictions and the measured values of temperature. 相似文献
