Graphene papers have a potential to overcome the gap from nanoscale graphene to real macroscale applications of graphene. A unique process for preparation of highly conductive graphene thin paper by means of Ar+ ion irradiation of graphene oxide (GO) papers, with carbon/oxygen ratio reduced to 100:1, is presented. The composition of graphene paper in terms of carbon/oxygen ratio and in terms of types of individual oxygen‐containing groups is monitored throughout the process. Angle‐resolved high resolution X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy helps to investigate the depth profile of carbon and oxygen within reduced GO paper. C/O ratios over 100 on the surface and 40 in bulk material are observed. In order to bring insight to the processes of oxygen removal from GO paper by low energy Ar+ ion bombardment, the gases released during the irradiation are analyzed by mass spectroscopy. It is proven that Ar+ ion beam can be applied as a technique for fabrication of highly reduced graphene papers with high conductivities. Such highly conductive graphene papers have great potential to be used in application for construction of microelectronic and sensor devices.  相似文献

2D hybrid organic–inorganic perovskites are valued in optoelectronic applications for their tunable bandgap and excellent moisture and irradiation stability. These properties stem from both the chemical composition and crystallinity of the layer formed. Defects in the lattice, impurities, and crystal grain boundaries generally introduce trap states and surface energy pinning, limiting the ultimate performance of the perovskite; hence, an in-depth understanding of the crystallization process is indispensable. Here, a kinetic and thermodynamic study of 2D perovskite layer crystallization on transparent conductive substrates are provided—fluorine-doped tin oxide and graphene. Due to markedly different surface structure and chemistry, the two substrates interact differently with the perovskite layer. A time-resolved grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) is used to monitor the crystallization on the two substrates. Molecular dynamics simulations are employed to explain the experimental data and to rationalize the perovskite layer formation. The findings assist substrate selection based on the required film morphology, revealing the structural dynamics during the crystallization process, thus helping to tackle the technological challenges of structure formation of 2D perovskites for optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

Deeper understanding of the basic principles of biomineralization is a major challenge for present and future research. The high complexity of in‐vivo conditions calls for simplified model systems that still involve dynamic processes like reorganization, formation, self‐organization, and development of patterns, respectively. The present contribution deals with hierarchically ordered spherical aggregates of fluorapatite–gelatin composites with fractal architecture that are grown in gelatin matrices. The model system was chosen to mimic formation conditions on a lower level of complexity compared with the natural formation of calcified tissue (bone, teeth). In order to gain insight into structure formation and the motif for this special kind of morphogenesis we investigated the interaction of the organic and inorganic components of aggregates in different growth stages by detailed chemical analyses, thermoanalytical measurements, X‐ray diffraction on solitary particles, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) as well as transmission electron microscopy (TEM) investigations. The close relation of the results and observations to calcified tissue may stimulate advanced interests in the fields of medical and materials development.  相似文献

We address independent component analysis (ICA) of piecewise stationary and non-Gaussian signals and propose a novel ICA algorithm called Block EFICA that is based on this generalized model of signals. The method is a further extension of the popular non-Gaussianity-based FastICA algorithm and of its recently optimized variant called EFICA. In contrast to these methods, Block EFICA is developed to effectively exploit varying distribution of signals, thus, also their varying variance in time (nonstationarity) or, more precisely, in time-intervals (piecewise stationarity). In theory, the accuracy of the method asymptotically approaches Cramér–Rao lower bound (CRLB) under common assumptions when variance of the signals is constant. On the other hand, the performance is practically close to the CRLB even when variance of the signals is changing. This is demonstrated by comparing our algorithm with various methods that are asymptotically efficient within ICA models based either on the non-Gaussianity or the nonstationarity. The benefit of our algorithm is demonstrated by examples with real-world audio signals.  相似文献

A fully planar monolithically integrated Gunn oscillator for 35 GHz has been constructed on a GaAs substrate. An output power of about 1.5 mW, corresponding to an efficiency of 0.5%, is obtained from the oscillator in its present unoptimised form. The device is intended for use as a local oscillator in integrated millimetre-wave receivers. Measurements are made by means of quasi-optical output coupling.  相似文献

A dual slab Nd:LHG5 glass zigzag optical path laser was constructed with single-sided pumping and tested. A single slab (0.63 times 5.6 times 35cm) produced 80 W in an oscillator with an accompanying distortion of only 3 fringes (632.8 nm) as measured by a single-pass interferogram through the slab. Performance was achieved by producing uniform pumping and cooling of the slabs, and by controlling the distortion at the slab ends with pump shields.  相似文献

Abstract

The paper describes the possibility of using the speckle pattern decorrelation for determination of small deformation tensor components of an elementary object surface area in an optical image field. The relationship between the small-deformation tensor and the speckle field displacement is analysed in detail. In recent years, dual-cure chemistry has been exploited to realize interpenetrating networks (IPNs) that provide enhanced thermo-mechanical properties. In this contribution, photoinduced curing of (meth)acrylates is used to build the desired 3D structure, whereas the thermally triggered polymerization reaction of 2H-chromene functionalized building blocks is utilized to create the IPN. This strategy combines the advantages of traditional UV-curable monomers with high-performance thermosets. After the successful synthesis of the bispropargyl ether derivative, i.e., 4,4′-(propane-2,2-diyl)bis((ethynyloxy)benzene), its thermally induced conversion to the corresponding 2H chromene functionalized prepolymer is studied by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography. The network formation as well as the printability of various formulations containing different amounts of the thermo-curable building block is investigated. The obtained IPNs provide enhanced thermo-mechanical properties making these resins suitable for the additive manufacturing of functional 3D parts for high-performance applications.  相似文献

A study was conducted to evaluate the influence of breed and sex of animals on tenderness of pork. For evaluation, carcasses of pure breed barrows and gilts of Large White, Czech pig meat, Landrace and Duroc were used. For laboratory investigations, the samples of musculus longissimus lumborum et thoracis (20 mm thick) were taken from the same place, at the first cruciate vertebra 48 h post mortem. Seven days post mortem, the texture of heat-processed meat was measured objectively by the shear method on Instron equipped with Warner–Bratzler shear device. Meat tenderness and juiciness were also evaluated sensorially. It was observed that the tenderness of cooked meat is influenced by breed (the tenderest meat was from Duroc breed). The sex of animals has significant effect on meat tenderness too. At the same time, the effects of pH 45 minutes (pH45) and 24 hours (pH24) post mortem and intramuscular fat content on meat tenderness were evaluated. Correlations were found between shear force (tenderness) and intramuscular fat content and also between shear force and pH value 45 min post mortem. The shear force decreased with increasing intramuscular fat content and with increasing pH45 value. Sensory evaluation of tenderness confirmed the objectively measured data.  相似文献

This study was conducted to determine the prevalence and antimicrobial resistance of Salmonella isolates recovered from processed poultry. Four hundred eighty pre- and postchill whole broiler chicken carcasses were collected from a poultry processing plant between July 2004 and June 2005. Water samples also were collected at the entrance and exit of the chiller. After preenrichment, carcass and water samples were analyzed for the presence of Salmonella using the automated BAX system followed by traditional culture methods. The proportions of pre- and postchill carcasses that were positive for Salmonella were 88.4 and 84.1%, respectively. Ninety-two percent of water samples collected at the entrance of the chiller were positive for Salmonella, but all exit samples were negative. There was no significant difference in the prevalence of Salmonella between pre- and postchill carcasses (P > 0.05). Salmonella isolates recovered were serotyped and tested for susceptibility to antimicrobials. Thirteen serotypes were identified; the most common were Salmonella Kentucky (59.5%) and Salmonella Typhimurium (17.8%). Three hundred thirty-nine (79.8%) of the isolates were resistant to at least one antimicrobial, and 53.4% were resistant to three or more antimicrobials. Resistance was most often observed to tetracycline (73.4% of isolates), ampicillin (52.9%), amoxicillin-clavulanic acid (52%), ceftiofur (51.7%), streptomycin (35.2%), and sulfisoxazole (21.8%). These results indicate the high prevalence of Salmonella contamination in whole broiler carcasses, and a large number of these Salmonella isolates were resistant to commonly used antimicrobials.  相似文献
