This paper describes a simple technique for characterization of capacitive MEMS accelerometers. The method is based on electrical impedance (admittance) measurements of capacitive MEMS accelerometers treated as electrostatically-driven microelectromechanical resonators. By using this method, it is possible to determine some electrical and mechanical parameters including the shunt capacitance, the mechanical resonance frequency and quality factor. In this paper, results of hydrogen production via methane reforming in the atmospheric pressure microwave plasma are presented. A waveguide-based nozzleless cylinder-type microwave plasma source (MPS) was used to convert methane into hydrogen. Important advantages of the presented waveguide-based nozzleless cylinder-type MPS are: stable operation in various gases (including air) at high flow rates, no need for a cooling system, and impedance matching. The plasma generation was stabilized by an additional swirled nitrogen flow (50 or 100 l min−1). The methane flow rate was up to 175 l min−1. The absorbed microwave power could be changed from 3000 to 5000 W. The hydrogen production rate and the corresponding energy efficiency in the presented methane reforming by the waveguide-based nozzleless cylinder-type MPS were up to 255 g[H2] h−1 and 85 g[H2] kWh−1, respectively. We report on the fabrication and performance of vacuum-processed organic field effect transistors utilizing evaporated low-density polyethylene (LD-PE) as a dielectric layer. With C60 as the organic semiconductor, we demonstrate low operating voltage transistors with field effect mobilities in excess of 4 cm2/Vs. Devices with pentacene showed a mobility of 0.16 cm2/Vs. Devices using tyrian Purple as semiconductor show low-voltage ambipolar operation with equal electron and hole mobilities of ~0.3 cm2/Vs. These devices demonstrate low hysteresis and operational stability over at least several months. Grazing-angle infrared spectroscopy of evaporated thin films shows that the structure of the polyethylene is similar to solution-cast films. We report also on the morphological and dielectric properties of these films. Our experiments demonstrate that polyethylene is a stable dielectric supporting both hole and electron channels. 相似文献

Diketopyrrolopyrroles (DPPs) have recently gained attention as building-blocks for organic semiconducting polymers and small molecules, however the semiconducting properties of their hydrogen-bonded (H-bonded) pigment forms have not been explored. Herein we report on the performance of three archetypical H-bonded DPP pigments, which show ambipolar carrier mobilities in the range 0.01–0.06 cm2/V s in organic field-effect transistors. Their semiconducting properties are correlated with crystal structure, where an H-bonded crystal lattice supports close and relatively cofacial π–π stacking. To better understand transport in these systems, density functional theory calculations were carried out, indicating theoretical maximum ambipolar mobility values of ∼0.3 cm2/V s. Based on these experimental and theoretical results, H-bonded DPPs represent a viable alternative to more established DPP-containing polymers and small molecules where H-bonding is blocked by N-alkylation. 相似文献

In this article structures in biological signals are treated. The simpler—directly visible in the signals, which still demand serious methods and algorithms in the feature detection, similarity investigation and classification. The major actions in this domain are of geometric, thus simpler sort, though there are still hard problems related to simple situations. The other large class of less simple signals unsuitable for direct geometric or statistic approach, are signals with interesting frequency components and behavior, those suitable for spectroscopic analysis. Semantics of spectroscopy, spectroscopic structures and research demanded operations and transformations on spectra and time spectra are presented. The both classes of structures and related analysis methods and tools share a large common set of algorithms, all of which aiming to the full automatization. Some of the signal features present in the brain signal patterns are demonstrated, with the contexts relevant in BCI, brain computer interfaces. Mathematical representations, invariants and complete characterization of structures in broad variety of biological signals are in the central focus. 相似文献
