The reduction of energy consumption in order to increase network lifetime is one of the most major challenges in the design of wireless sensor networks. During data dissemination, the sensors that are located in the sink's neighborhood are responsible to relay data to the other nodes; hence, their energy is exhausted expeditiously. Therefore, the idea of utilizing mobile sinks can be so advantageous to decrease energy consumption during data dissemination process. In this paper, we propose self‐managed grid‐based data disseminating protocol for mobile sink in wireless sensor networks by using the idea of constructing a virtual grid. In self‐managed grid‐based data disseminating protocol, sink and nodes map their geographical position to a virtual location. In order to increase the performance, we have employed a cell head for each grid cell. Cell heads are selected based on two parameters, centralization and residual energy. Our data dissemination protocol is simple and has low overhead to construct and maintain. Also, we have presented a new method for sink location update, which leads to the least cost in data transfer. Simulation results illustrate that by utilizing hierarchical functionality and determining an optimal size for grid cells, energy consumption is decreased, which leads to increasing network lifetime. One of the formidable challenges facing aprotic lithium‐oxygen (Li‐O2) batteries is the high charge overpotential, which induces the formation of byproducts, loss in efficiency, and poor cycling performance. Herein, the synthesis of the ultrasmall Pt‐coated hollow graphene nanocages as cathode in Li‐O2 batteries is reported. The charge voltage plateau can reduce to 3.2 V at the current density of 100 mA g?1, even maintain below 3.5 V when the current density increased to 500 mA g?1. The unique hollow graphene nanocages matrix can not only provide numerous nanoscale tri‐phase regions as active sites for efficient oxygen reduction, but also offer sufficient amount of mesoscale pores for rapid oxygen diffusion. Furthermore, with strong atomic‐level oxygen absorption into its subsurface, ultrasmall Pt catalytically serves as the nucleation site for Li2O2 growth. The Li2O2 is subsequently induced into a favorable form with small size and amorphous state, decomposed more easily during recharge. Meanwhile, the conductive hollow graphene substrate can enhance the catalytic activity of noble metal Pt catalysts due to the graphene‐metal interfacial interaction. Benefiting from the above synergistic effects between the hollow graphene nanocages and the nanosized Pt catalysts, the ultrasmall Pt‐decorated graphene nanocage cathode exhibits enhanced electrochemical performances. 相似文献

Diluting the bitumen and heavy oil with a liquid solvent such as tetradecane is one way to decrease the viscosity. The accurate estimation for the viscosity of the aforesaid mixture is serious due to the sensitivity of enhanced oil recovery method. The main aim of this study was to propose an impressive relation between the viscosity of heavy n-alkane and Athabasca bitumen mixtures based on pressure, temperature, and the weight percentage of n-tetradecane using radial basis function artificial neural network (RBF-ANN). Also, this model has been compared with previous equations and its major accuracy was evidenced to estimate the viscosity. The amounts of mean relative error (MRE %) and R-squared received 0.32 and 1.00, respectively. The endeavors confirmed amazing forecasting skill of RBF-ANN for the approximation of the viscosity as a function of temperature, pressure, and the weight percentage of n-tetradecane. 相似文献

Different approaches have been used to convert the waste materials into a clean syngas or other chemicals such as methanol. Among them, pyrolysis is a good candidate to produce the synthesis gas and volatile matters for industrial and refinery applications. In this work, we studied the kinetic and chemical behavior of three Iranian waste oils through a kinetic model and an experimental study. The experiments carried out in a micro-FB reactor, which is a good option for low emissions. Results showed that the reaction temperature and reaction rate are two of the most important factors for maximum conversion level of fuel. Results also showed an optimum value for reaction rate. The modeling results validated against the experimental measurements and found to be in good agreements. 相似文献

Maintaining the flow of multiphase fluid from the reservoir to the surface has been an important issue with wide economic importance for the petroleum industry. Asphaltene precipitation due to change in temperature, pressure, and composition of oil can adversely affect the oil flow to the surface by reducing the available diameter of the tubing. In this study, the precipitation of asphaltene from an Iranian crude oil was investigated. To do our study, through information about asphaltene instability in the live oil during both natural depletion and gas injection conditions about oil sample from Iranian oil field was gathered. Then, the solid model and scaling model were utilized to predict the weight percent of precipitated asphaltene at a wide range of the pressure and temperature. Results of the work revealed that both models predict the increase in weight percent of precipitated asphaltene when lean gas injected to the live oil at the maximum point of asphaltene instability. In addition, the study showed that both models are capable of predicting the experimental data of asphaltene precipitation; while scaling modeling is more reliable when the gas is injected to the oil. 相似文献

Effect of ZSM-5 zeolite promotion using potassium, strontium, and cerium metals on conversion of methanol to light olefins and aromatics was investigated. ZSM-5 catalyst was promoted using wet impregnation of metal salts and its activity was tested in methanol to hydrocarbons process under optimum operational condition obtained in our group previously. Zeolite samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, N2 adsorption-desorption, acid sites distribution, and strength using temperature programmed desorption of NH3. Results showed that presence of these metals could significantly affect acid site distribution and therefore influence the catalyst activity and selectivity to olefins and aromatics. 相似文献

Adsorption of heterocyclic sulfur- and nitrogen-containing compounds by mesostructure adsorbent (MSU-S) and its modified form with cobalt oxide is studied using model fuel. The results of characteristic tests (XRD, N2 adsorption–desorption, FTIR, and SEM) indicate that CoO impregnation causes a negative impact on mesoporous structure, crystalline phase, and particle shape along with a positive effect on surface ion exchange. CoO modification increased the adsorption loadings of DBT and BT to about 33.6% and 45.7%, respectively. For nitrogen compounds adsorption with the model fuel, adsorption loadings of quinoline and carbazole increase by 6.7% and 8.6%, respectively. Data fitting for carbazole, DBT, and BT is achieved better by the Langmuir model than the Freundlich model, and the data of quinoline fitted very well to the Freundlich model for CoO-MSU-S. 相似文献

Knowing compressibility factor (z-factor) values of natural gases is the basis of most petroleum engineering calculations. Shortage of available experimental data for the specified composition, temperature, and pressure conditions encourages researchers to propose efficient equations for calculating z-factor values.
This investigation presents a useful empirical model for determining natural gases compressibility factor values. The advantages of this correlation are that it is explicit in terms of z-factor and the results of calculating compressibility factor values by this method reveal the supremacy of the new equation over the other widely used correlations. 相似文献

A reactive cyclodextrin was synthesised by reacting β‐cyclodextrin with itaconic acid to enable it to fix permanently onto cellulosic materials. Because synthesis is a complicated process that is greatly influenced by many factors, the response surface methodology was applied in this study to optimise production. To investigate the efficiency of the esterification reaction, the amount of carboxyl groups and the double bond content of the end product were measured and employed as the responses. The 3D response surface plots and the contour plots derived from the mathematical models were applied to evaluate the interactive effects of parameters affecting the reaction, such as itaconic acid and catalyst concentrations, material to liquor ratio, temperature and time of reaction. The amount of carboxyl groups and the double bond content of cyclodextrin itaconate (about 175 and 150 meq./100 g CDI, respectively) in the optimum conditions indicated that one to two itaconic acid molecules could react with cyclodextrin according to the esterification reaction. In addition, the presence of the new supplementary groups on cyclodextrin could effect on the aggregation behaviour of this new cyclodextrin derivative as demonstrated by dynamic light scattering and AFM. 相似文献

BACKGROUND: Iron-deficiency anemia is the most prevalent nutritional deficiency worldwide. Iron-deficiency anemia has particular negative consequences on women in their childbearing years, and its prevention is a high priority in most health systems. OBJECTIVE: This interventional study assessed the effect of nutrition education on hematologic indices, iron status, nutritional knowledge, and nutritional practices of high-school girls in Iran. METHODS: Sixty healthy 16- to 18-year-old girls were randomly selected from two high schools in the city of Ahvaz and divided into two equally matched groups, one that received nutrition education, and one that did not. The education group received instruction in face-to-face sessions, group discussions, and pamphlets for 2 months. The control group did not receive any information during the study. Hematologic tests, corpuscular indices, and serum ferritin levels were measured at baseline and after 2 months. Food-frequency questionnaires were administered and histories taken, clinical signs of nutritional deficiencies observed, anthropometric measurements taken, nutritional knowledge tested, practices determined, and lifestyle questionnaires administered to all subjects. RESULTS: There were no statistically significant differences in any baseline characteristics between the two groups. Scores for nutritional knowledge and practices of the education group were significantly higher after two months compared with the baseline (31.4 +/- 6 vs. 24.3 +/- 5.9 points, p < .001, and 31.2 +/- 5 vs. 28.4 +/- 5.7 points, p < .05, respectively). The scores in the control group showed no significant changes from baseline to 2 months. Mean corpuscular volume values were elevated in the education group (p < .001) but not in the control group. However, in the control group, serum ferritin concentrations showed about a 17% drop at the end of the study (p < .004). There were no changes in other hematologic, lifestyle, clinical, or anthropometric data compared with baseline after completion of the study in both groups. CONCLUSION: These findings indicate that nutritional education can improve knowledge of healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices. Focused nutritional education using available resources and correcting current dietary habits in a vulnerable group of young women may result in dietary changes that can ultimately improve iron intake. 相似文献
