Next-generation military and civilian communication systems will require technologies capable of handling data/ audio, and video simultaneously while supporting multiple RF systems operating in several different frequency bands from the MHz to the GHz range [1]. RF microelectromechani-cal/nanoelectromechanical (MEMS/NEMS) devices, such as resonators and switches, are attractive to industry as they offer a means by which performance can be greatly improved for wireless applications while at the same time potentially reducing overall size and weight as well as manufacturing costs. 相似文献
This study concerns green thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) obtained by controlling the chemical structure of flexible segments. Two types of bio-based polyether polyols—poly(trimethylene glycol)s—with average molecular weights ca. 1000 and 2700 Da were used (PO3G1000 and PO3G2700, respectively). TPUs were prepared via a two-step method. Hard segments consisted of 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanates and the bio-based 1,4-butanodiol (used as a chain extender and used to control the [NCO]/[OH] molar ratio). The impacts of the structure of flexible segments, the amount of each type of prepolymer, and the [NCO]/[OH] molar ratio on the chemical structure and selected properties of the TPUs were verified. By regulating the number of flexible segments of a given type, different selected properties of TPU materials were obtained. Thermal analysis confirmed the high thermal stability of the prepared materials and revealed that TPUs based on a higher amount of prepolymer synthesized from PO3G2700 have a tendency for cold crystallization. An increase in the amount of PO3G1000 at the flexible segments caused an increase in the tensile strength and decrease in the elongation at break. Melt flow index results demonstrated that the increase in the amount of prepolymer based on PO3G1000 resulted in TPUs favorable in terms of machining. 相似文献
-FeSi2 is an important semiconducting silicide which is being studied extensively. In this paper, we report our results of the effect of laser and laser-thermal annealing on the properties of -FeSi2. 5N purity Fe was deposited on Si substrate and was subsequently irradiated by CW and pulsed laser separately followed by thermal annealing to reduce the laser induced damage. The samples were then characterized by sheet resistance, X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), optical reflectance and absorption studies. Lastly, -FeSi2/n-Si heterojunctions were fabricated and the effect of laser treatment on the junction ideality factor was investigated. All these characterizations indicated the formation of good quality -FeSi2, particularly after pulsed laser followed by thermal treatment. 相似文献
This paper presents a new design of multi micro manipulation system using ionic polymer metal composite (IPMC) micro grippers for robotic micro assembly where IPMC is used as a light weight actuator for developing the micro grippers. It has the potential of large displacement, low mass force generation and misalignment compensation ability during micro manipulation. These capabilities are utilized for handling of miniature parts like pegs. The analysis of IPMC micro gripper and manipulator are carried out for developing a multi micro manipulation system that can handle pegs in micro assembly operation for shifting one to another hole position in a large work space (100 mm × 100 mm). By developing a prototype, it is demonstrated that IPMC based micro grippers are capable of handling the peg-in-hole assembly tasks in a multi micro manipulation system. 相似文献
Group theory considerations and properties of a continuous path are used to define a failure tree procedure for finding eigenvalues of the Schrödinger equation using stochastic methods. The procedure is used to calculate the lowest excited state eigenvalues of eigenfunctions possessing anti-symmetric nodal regions in configuration space using the Feynman-Kac path integral method. Within this method the solution of the imaginary time Schrödinger equation is approximated by random walk simulations on a discrete grid constrained only by symmetry considerations of the Hamiltonian. The required symmetry constraints on random walk simulations are associated with a given irreducible representation and are found by identifying the eigenvalues for the irreducible representation corresponding to symmetric or antisymmetric eigenfunctions for each group operator. The method provides exact eigenvalues of excited states in the limit of infinitesimal step size and infinite time. The numerical method is applied to compute the eigenvalues of the lowest excited states of the hydrogenic atom that transform as Γ2 and Γ4 irreducible representations. Numerical results are compared with exact analytical results. 相似文献
This paper introduces the concepts of a servicemanagement system for mobile agent-based services. Incontrast to several other approaches in whichagent-based applications are used to handletraditional network or service managementaspects, this paper describes a way to manage thedistributed agent environment itself. The proposedapproach was designed and developed by using OSI SystemsManagement concepts as a starting point, which are modified andadjusted in order to fulfill the new requirementsassociated with the mobile agent paradigm. However, thispaper does not cover integration or co-existence of the introduced agent management system (AMS)and traditional OSI management systems. Instead, theentire AMS environment is based on mobile agenttechnology. At present, this approach is validated inthe context of the European research project MobileAgent Environments in Intelligent Networks(MARINE). 相似文献
In incremental software development (ISD) functionalities are delivered incrementally and requirements keep on evolving across iterations. The requirements evolution involves the addition of new dependencies and conflicts among functional and non-functional requirements along with changes in priorities and dependency weights. This, in turn, demands refactoring the order of development of system components to minimize the impact of these changes. Neglecting the non-functional constraints in the software development process exposes it to risks that may accumulate across several iterations. In this research work, we propose a risk management framework for ISD processes that provides an estimate of risk exposure for the project when functional features are frozen while ignoring the associations with non-functional requirements. Our framework proposes suitable risk reduction strategies that work in tandem with the risk assessment module. We also provide a tool interface for our risk management framework.
