The effect of transition metal ions(M~(2+)=Mn~(2+),Ni~(2+),Co~(2+),Cu~(2+)) on the chemical synthesis of polyaniline(PANI) used as a platinum-free counter electrode(CE) in dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs) was investigated.PANI was synthesized by co-polymerization of aniline in the presence of different transition metal ions by using potassium dichromate in acidic medium. It was found that the ion doping of PANI showed a certain catalytic activity for the regeneration of traditional iodide/triiodide(I~-/I_3~-) redox couples. The power conversion efficiency(η) of PANI CEs doped with Mn~(2+),Ni~(2+),Co~(2+) (4.41%, 2.36% and 2.10%, respectively) were higher than 1.94%, the value measured for PANI CE without doping. Doping with Cu~(2+)decreased the power conversion efficiency of PANI CE(PANI-Cu~(2+) η = 1.41%). The electrical properties of the PANI, PANI-Ni~(2+), PANI-Co~(2+),PANI-Mn~(2+) and PANI-Cu~(2+) were studied by cyclic voltammetry(CV), impedance(EIS), and Tafel polarization curve. The experimental results confirmed that PANI was affected by the doping of different transition metal ions(M~(2+)=Mn~(2+),Ni~(2+),Co~(2+),Cu~(2+)). Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is a member of IL-10 cytokine family which is expressed in activated T cells
predominantly and in activated natural killer cells at lower levels. Previous studies have demonstrated the link between
elevated levels of IL-22 and disease severity of psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis and interstitial lung
diseases. However, the function of IL-22 in the development and progression of colorectal cancer (CRC) remains
elusive. In this study, we first evaluated the IL-22/IL-22R1 level in CRC patients, and found that tumor tissues
have more active expression of IL-22 and IL-22R1 than normal tissues, presenting correlation with the degree of
differentiation of tumor tissues. Subsequently, Caspase and cell viability assays were performed on SW-480 cell line
which expresses high level of IL-22R1 to examine if the supplementation of IL-22 has an impact on apoptosis and
proliferation. In comparison with treatment of 5-FU, supplementation of IL-22 promoted cell proliferation and
ameliorated apoptosis. To unveil signal transduction upon activation of IL-22R, we examined the phosphorylation
of STAT3 in SW-480 cell line following supplementation of IL-22. The treatment of IL-22 also increased the level of
p-Akt, an essential component in PI3K/Akt pathway. Although the link between STAT3 phosphorylation and PI3K/
Akt activation remains to be explored, our study revealed the mechanism underlying the effects of IL-22R activation on
apoptosis as well as tumor differentiation, indicating the prognostic value of IL-22/IL-22R. 相似文献

During the last years, there have been large advances in the understanding of cardiac mechanics, and in particular shape, motion and deformation. However, it is important to comprehend how these features interrelate and how they can be interpreted to refine the clinical diagnosis. The goal of our study is to illustrate the use of two‐dimensional ultrasound cardiac motion sequences on some typical cardiac pathologies. The method is applied to preprocessed data from two‐dimensional ultrasound sequences of four different subjects, namely, two healthy volunteers, one patient with left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony from the left bundle branch block, and one patient with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The interpretation based on these features is corroborated with other analyzing techniques such as electrocardiogram and visual interpretation by experienced clinical observers. The proposed method realizes a computer program, which allows the user to easily obtain and visualize information about myocardial shape, motion (displacement and velocity), and deformation (strain) along the left ventricle myocardium wall during the cardiac cycle. 相似文献

Near infrared fluorescent galactose targeted glycopolymer containing m-carborane has been synthesized through ring open and atom transfer radical polymerization, followed by post-functionalization with a cyanine NIR dye. The copolymer could self-assemble into micelles which work as a potential agent for imaging-guided boron neutron capture therapy. The NIR micelles revealed no cytotoxicity for HepG2 cells. An enhanced and fast endocytosis due to the specific interaction between the HepG2 cells and the glycopolymer could be traced by fluorescence microscopy, and the bioimaging makes it possible to trace the nanoparticles and provides information where and when the neutron irradiation should be triggered. 相似文献
