Objective  

Variable density random sampling patterns have recently become increasingly popular for accelerated imaging strategies, as they lead to incoherent aliasing artifacts. However, the design of these sampling patterns is still an open problem. Current strategies use model assumptions like polynomials of different order to generate a probability density function that is then used to generate the sampling pattern. This approach relies on the optimization of design parameters which is very time consuming and therefore impractical for daily clinical use.  相似文献

A flexible phase change filament with core‑sheath structure was successfully prepared by post-filling of a polypropylene (PP) hollow fiber. The ionic liquid (IL) 1-butyl-4-methylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate was chosen as core component, while copper decorated muscovite (Cu-MVT) was synthesized via in situ reduction and used as the refining additive for the IL. Results from differential scanning calorimetry demonstrated that the encapsulation ratio of the flexible phase change filament reached 93% with a fusion latent heat of 52.7 J/g at 48.3 °C. Supercooling of the ionic liquid was suppressed effectively as shown by the crystallization in the cooling step due to the addition of Cu-MVT. The flexible phase change material with core‑sheath structure also showed good thermal stability, durability, and mechanical property under the protection of the sheath polymer material. It is evident that the phase change filament possesses promising characteristics for thermal energy storage and thermoregulation. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. The miscibility of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and styrene-acrylonitrile random copolymers (SAN) blends was investigated on the basis of the Flory—Orwoll—Vrij equation of state theory. To obtain the equation of state parameters (P*, V*sp, T*: characteristic parameters), the pressure—volume—temperature (PVT) behaviour was measured for PMMA and a series of SANs with various acrylonitrile contents. The exchange energy parameter Xij was also calculated by fitting the theory to some phase diagrams of PMMA/SAN blends. The Flory—Huggins interaction parameter χ was separated into two contributions based on the equation of state theory for mixtures: the exchange energy term χinter and the free volume term χfree. Both the temperature and copolymer composition dependences of χinter and χfree were estimated by calculations using the equation of state parameters. There exists a region in which χinter is negative, leading to a miscibility window in PMMA/SAN blends. However, the immiscibility at high temperatures in the blends cannot be explained only by χinter; it is caused by the free volume contribution, χfree. The miscibility window behaviour in PMMA/SAN blends may be explained within the framework of the equation of state theory.  相似文献

The development of thermoplastic fibers containing a liquid core is described. Internal morphology analysis confirms that the liquid-containing core is composed of a continuous cylindrical microchannel of constant diameter. Microfluidic experiments on both liquid core and reference hollow fibers were conducted by pumping distilled water through several filaments simultaneously. The observed fluid motions are satisfactorily described by the Hagen-Poiseuille law, indicating that the hollow and liquid core fibers have internal diameters of 31.6 and 14.8 µm, respectively. Flushing the liquid core fibers with a surfactant solution efficiently removes the saturated ester initially used during the melt spinning of the fiber.  相似文献

Bioinspired gradient microstructures provide an attractive template for functional materials with tailored properties. In this study, filaments with gradient microstructures are developed by melt-spinning of immiscible polymer blends. The distribution of the gradient morphology is shown to be controlled by the viscosity ratio of polymers as well as the geometry of the capillary die. Distinct microstructure gradients with long thin fibrils near the surface region and short large droplets near the center region of the filament, as well as the inverse pattern, are formed in systems with different viscosity ratios. The shear flow field in the capillary can elucidate the formation mechanisms of gradient morphologies during processing. The results demonstrate how the features of a gradient microstructure can be tailored by the design of capillary geometry and processing conditions. The viscosity ratio is then introduced as an adjusting tool to control the gradient morphology in a given processing setup. We present relation-algebraic specifications of injective embedding mappings and splittings of partial equivalence relations and show in each case that the axioms characterize these constructions up to isomorphism, i.e., in an essentially unique way. Based on the specifications, we develop a relational program for computing splitting and demonstrate some applications. The examples originate from a relation-algebraic treatment of processes, graph theory, and the decomposition of specific relations.  相似文献

Optical satellite images are often contaminated with cirrus clouds. Thin cirrus can be detected with a channel at 1.38 μm, and an established cirrus removal method exists for visible/near-infrared (VNIR) channels in atmospheric window regions, which was demonstrated with Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MODIS) data. This contribution addresses open issues of cirrus correction for Sentinel-2 type of instruments, that is, future spaceborne sensors such as Sentinel-2 or similar instruments. These issues are (i) an extension of the existing technique to account for cirrus during the water vapour retrieval (channel at 0.94 μm) and surface reflectance calculation to avoid reflectance artefacts at 0.94 μm, (ii) a discussion of options concerning cirrus removal in the short-wave infrared (SWIR, channels at 1.6 and 2.2 μm) region and (iii) an analysis of channel parallax (view angle) requirements to achieve a high-quality cirrus removal.  相似文献

This paper contributes to the solution of several open problems with parallel programming tools and their integration with performance evaluation environments. First, we propose interactive compilation scenarios instead of the usual black-box-oriented use of compiler tools. In such scenarios, information gathered by the compiler and the compiler's reasoning are presented to the user in meaningful ways and on-demand. Second, a tight integration of compilation and performance analysis tools is advocated. M any of the existing, advanced instruments for gathering performance results are being used in the presented environment and their results are combined in integrated views with compiler information and data from other tools. Initial instruments that assist users in data mining this information are presented and the need for much stronger facilities is explained. The URSA Family provides two tools addressing these issues. URSA MINOR supports a group of users at a specific site, such as a research or development project. URSA MAJOR complements this tool by making available the gathered results to the user community at large via the World-wide Web. This paper presents objectives, functionality, experience, and next development steps of the URSA tool family. Two case studies are presented that illustrate the use of the tools for developing and studying parallel applications and for evaluating parallelizing compilers.  相似文献
