The influence of noise and of Unruh effect on quantum Prisoners’ dilemma is investigated both for entangled and unentangled initial states. The noise is incorporated through amplitude damping channel. For unentangled initial state, the decoherence compensates for the adverse effect of acceleration of the frame and the effect of acceleration becomes irrelevant provided the game is fully decohered. It is shown that the inertial player always out scores the noninertial player by choosing defection. For maximally entangled initially state, we show that for fully decohered case every strategy profile results in either of the two possible equilibrium outcomes. Two of the four possible strategy profiles become Pareto optimal and Nash equilibrium and no dilemma is leftover. It is shown that other equilibrium points emerge for different region of values of decoherence parameter that are either Pareto optimal or Pareto inefficient in the quantum strategic spaces. It is shown that the Eisert et al. (Phys Rev Lett 83:3077, 1999) miracle move is a special move that leads always to distinguishable results compare to other moves. We show that the dilemma like situation is resolved in favor of one player or the other.  相似文献

The computation of data cubes is one of the most expensive operations in on-line analytical processing (OLAP). To improve efficiency, an iceberg cube represents only the cells whose aggregate values are above a given threshold (minimum support). Top-down and bottom-up approaches are used to compute the iceberg cube for a data set, but both have performance limitations. In this paper, a new algorithm, called Multi-Tree Cubing (MTC), is proposed for computing an iceberg cube. The Multi-Tree Cubing algorithm is an integrated top-down and bottom-up approach. Overall control is handled in a top-down manner, so MTC features shared computation. By processing the orderings in the opposite order from the Top-Down Computation algorithm, the MTC algorithm is able to prune attributes. The Bottom Up Computation (BUC) algorithm and its variations also perform pruning by relying on the processing of intermediate partitions. The MTC algorithm, however, prunes without processing such partitions. The MTC algorithm is based on a specialized type of prefix tree data structure, called an Attribute–Partition tree (AP-tree), consisting of attribute and partition nodes. The AP-tree facilitates fast, in-memory sorting and APRIORI-like pruning. We report on five series of experiments, which confirm that MTC is consistently as fast or faster than BUC, while finding the same iceberg cubes.  相似文献

Microarray is a powerful tool for simultaneous study of the behaviour of thousands of genes through analysis of produced images. The correct segmentation of each `spot` of the microarray image is a critical step in the analysis of the results of an experiment. A graph-based method is proposed which automatically performs the segmentation. The performance of the algorithm is tested both on real and simulated images. The proposed algorithm successfully detected spots of different sizes and shapes under the presence of variable noise levels. The simulation results proved that the suggested approach has high segmentation accuracy.  相似文献

Software effort estimation accuracy is a key factor in effective planning, controlling, and delivering a successful software project within budget and schedule. The overestimation and underestimation both are the key challenges for future software development, henceforth there is a continuous need for accuracy in software effort estimation. The researchers and practitioners are striving to identify which machine learning estimation technique gives more accurate results based on evaluation measures, datasets and other relevant attributes. The authors of related research are generally not aware of previously published results of machine learning effort estimation techniques. The main aim of this study is to assist the researchers to know which machine learning technique yields the promising effort estimation accuracy prediction in software development. In this article, the performance of the machine learning ensemble and solo techniques are investigated on publicly and non-publicly domain datasets based on the two most commonly used accuracy evaluation metrics. We used the systematic literature review methodology proposed by Kitchenham and Charters. This includes searching for the most relevant papers, applying quality assessment (QA) criteria, extracting data, and drawing results. We have evaluated a state-of-the-art accuracy performance of 35 selected studies (17 ensemble, 18 solo) using mean magnitude of relative error and PRED (25) as a set of reliable accuracy metrics for performance evaluation of accuracy among two techniques to report the research questions stated in this study. We found that machine learning techniques are the most frequently implemented in the construction of ensemble effort estimation (EEE) techniques. The results of this study revealed that the EEE techniques usually yield a promising estimation accuracy than the solo techniques.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of robust control for a class of uncertain state‐delayed singularly perturbed systems with norm‐bounded nonlinear uncertainties. The system under consideration involves state time‐delay and norm‐bounded nonlinear uncertainties in the slow state variable. It is shown that the state feedback gain matrices can be determined to guarantee the stability of the closed‐loop system for all ∞ ∞ (0, ∞00) and independently of the time‐delay. Based on this key result and some standard Riccati inequality approaches for robust control of singularly perturbed systems, a constructive design procedure is developed. We present an illustrative example to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed design approach.  相似文献

The machine-to-machine (M2M) communication is an enabler technology for internet of things (IoT) that provides communication between machines and devices without human intervention. One of the main challenges in IoT is managing a large number of machine-type communications co-existing with the human to human (H2H) or human type communications. Long term evolution (LTE) and LTE-advanced (LTE-A) technologies due to their inherent characteristics like high capacity and flexibility in data access management are appropriate choices for M2M/IoT systems. In this paper, a two-phase intelligent scheduling mechanism based on interval type-2 fuzzy logic to (1) satisfy QoS requirements, (2) ensure fair resource allocation and (3) control energy level of devices for coexistence of M2M/H2H traffics in LTE-A networks, is presented. The proposed interval type-2 fuzzy Logic mechanism enhances data traffic efficiency by predicting and handling the network uncertainties. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated in terms of various metrics such as delay, throughput, and bandwidth utilization.  相似文献

Cellulose acetate (CA), cellulose acetate propionate (CAP), and cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) were fabricated as membrane via nonsolvent induced phase separation process. N,N‐Dimethylformamide (DMF) and N,N‐Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) as solvents and water as nonsolvent were employed. Ternary phase diagrams for all six ternary systems were constructed using Flory‐Huggins theory. In this way, cloud points as well as Berghman's points were determined. Modulus of polymers steepened in various concentration of solvent/nonsolvent mixtures were measured to find the weight fraction of polymer (wp) in which vitrification takes place. WP values for CA, CAP, and CAB were obtained 0.59, 0.67, and 0.74 in presence of DMF while those were 0.69, 0.74, and 0.84 in presence of DMAc; whereas glass transition temperatures (Tg) for three polymers were determined 180°C, 142°C, and 101°C correspondingly. Pure water flux for CA, CAP, and CAB membrane increased from 75.7 to 83.4 and 290.3 and from 109.6 to 116.1 and 400.3 L/m2 h bar when DMF and DMAc were used as solvents, respectively. Results revealed that as Tg of polymer decreases, the membrane structure vitrifies at higher polymer concentration with more porous structure, bigger pores, higher permeate flux followed by decrease in mechanical strength. Popularity of electronic cigarettes (ECIGs) has increased tremendously among young people, in part due to flavoring additives in ECIG liquids. Pyrazines are an important class of these additives, and their presence in tobacco cigarettes has been correlated with increased acceptability of smoking among smokers and bystanders. Pyrazine use by the tobacco industry is therefore thought to encourage smoking. However, the extent of transfer of pyrazines present in the liquid to aerosols upon vaping remains unclear. We present a simple analytical method to quantify six pyrazine derivatives in liquids and aerosols of ECIGs that allows the isolation of pyrazines from interfering compounds, like nicotine. Standard pyrazine solutions and commercial ECIG samples of different brands and flavors were tested for their pyrazine content in the liquids and in the generated aerosols from these solutions. Testing on ECIG commercial liquids revealed a heterogeneous distribution in the levels and types of pyrazines, with acetyl and alkyl pyrazines present in more than 70% of the samples. This method confirmed that pyrazine additives are common in ECIG and that labels do not usually reflect the type and quantity of pyrazines in the liquid. Pyrazines were not correlated with the nicotine content or the brand of the liquid. The aerosols showed similar pyrazine profiles to their corresponding liquids. The efficiency of transfer of pyrazines into the particle phase was approximately 46%. Therefore, addition of pyrazines to ECIGs should be regulated, because they act synergistically with nicotine to increase product appeal, ease smoking initiation, and discourage cessation.
