Chemical complexes containing N-R-sulfonyldithiocarbimates have been looked at as potential substitutes for N-R-dithiocarbamates as accelerators for the vulcanization process, especially due to their structural similarities and, most importantly, for the capability of this last compound to not form nitrosamines during the vulcanization process. The zinc complex bis(N-phenylsulfonyldithiocarbimate)zincate(II) (n-PSC) of tetrabutylammonium was tested in nitrile rubber compositions and its performance compared with bis(4-methylphenylsulfonyldithiocarbimate)zincate(II) (MPSC) of tetrabutylammonium and also with commercial accelerators. The complex n-PSC imparted values of cure times intermediate between those given by ultrafast and moderate commercial accelerators. Nitrile rubber compounded with n-PSC also presented similar mechanical properties as compared with the commercial accelerators except for an inferior aging resistance. Concerning the two complexes, n-PSC was found to promote better properties such as optimum cure time, crosslink density, and elongation at break as compared with MPSC. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The aim of this work was to evaluate the occurrence of cholesterol oxidation products and to analyze the lipidic profile in salted–dried shrimp. Fifty samples of salted–dried shrimp were evaluated, and the cholesterol oxides (7β-OH, 7α-OH, 7-Keto and 25-OH) were quantified by high-performance liquid chromatography. The cholesterol oxides: 7β-OH (34.63–72.56 μg/g), 7α-OH (5.02–12.12μg/g), 7-Keto (7.44–32.68 μg/g) and 25-OH (2.37–22.88 μg/g) were determined in all samples analyzed. Regarding to the total cholesterol content and the average thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) content, the results ranged from 73.88 to 247.69 mg/100 g, and 0.02 to 1.30 mgMA/kg, respectively. The fatty acids profile was: 27.48% saturated, 43.90% monounsaturated and 28.61% polyunsaturated. The presence of cholesterol oxidation products and the values of TBARS indicate the degree of oxidation of this product, which was probably initiated by inadequate conditions of processing and storage.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the possible involvement of the histamine H3 receptor in control of exocrine pancreatic secretion from the guinea-pig. In in vitro experiments, the H3 receptor agonist (R)-alpha-methylhistamine (0.01-10 microM) elicited a concentration-dependent decrease in the release of alpha-amylase. (R)-alpha-Methylhistamine concentrations above 10 microM evoked a concentration-dependent increase in alpha-amylase secretion. Application of mepyramine (1 microM) partially blocked this increase. The H3 receptor antagonist thioperanide (1 microM) blocked the effects of (R)-alpha-methylhistamine below 10 microM. Histamine and (R)-alpha-methylhistamine attenuated both protein release elicited during electrical-field stimulation and the release of tritiated choline, and these effects were reversed by thioperamide. In an in vivo study, (R)-alpha-methylhistamine increased juice secretion and total protein content of the juice by 40%. Histamine H1 and H2 receptor antagonists blocked this increase and uncovered an attenuation of the secretory parameters (juice flow 28%, total protein content 44%). This attenuation was blocked by thioperamide. These observations suggest that stimulation of the histamine H3 receptor in the pancreas results in a decreased fluid and enzyme release by inhibition of acetylcholine release from intrinsic pancreatic nerves.  相似文献

Intravenous injection into the rat of sublethal doses of Tityus serrulatus scorpion venom (100 micrograms protein/kg) or its major neurotoxin tityustoxin-I (TsTX-I, 20 micrograms/kg) caused, 30-180 min after injection, statistically significant increases in the serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase, amylase, creatine kinase and lactate dehydrogenase, as well as hyperglycemia, a high level of plasma free fatty acids and a low level of liver glycogen. The in vitro serum levels of the above enzymes did not change. For alanine aminotransferase, gamma-glutamyl transferase and alkaline phosphatase, neither in vitro nor in vivo alterations were observed. The whole venom and TsTX-I caused hepatic congestion with hemolysis and hydropic degeneration. Other histological lesions included edema and congestion with subpleural hemorrhage in the lungs, hypertrophy of fibers with degeneration areas in the heart, and congestion and hemorrhage in the kidneys. In the salivary glands, alterations to the acini and ductules were visible. In the adrenal glands no morphological alterations could be detected at the studied doses. The results suggest that the in vivo enzymatic and histopathological alterations are due to tissue lesions evoked by the whole venom and TsTX-I. An indirect effect, however, induced by stimulation of acetylcholine and catecholamine release in the postganglionic nerve terminals, cannot be excluded.  相似文献

PURPOSE: Quantify objectively the normative distribution and the percentage of smooth muscle fibers in the corpus cavernosum of human fetuses with 24 weeks post-conception (WPC) of gestational age. MATERIAL AND METHODS: We studied 7 penises taken from 7 fresh human fetuses. We analyzed 5 randomized sections from each penis and in every section we analyzed 3 fields, totaling 15 fields per penis and 105 fields for the final results. Immunohistological staining for the smooth muscle fibers was used to accentuate the differences between the intracavernous structures (smooth muscle fibers and collagen fibers). The fields studied were digitized with a final magnification of 450X and a computerized analysis of the smooth muscle fibers was performed with image analyzer software. The percentage of smooth muscle fibers per standard square area was estimated and the mean value was used for each penis. RESULTS: The distribution of smooth muscle fibers in the corpus cavernosum of human fetuses with 24 WPC of gestational age ranged from 17.52% to 27.76% of the total area. The mean value was 22.72% and the standard deviation was 3.56. CONCLUSIONS: Our results show that the percentage of smooth muscle cells in corpus cavernosum of human fetuses with 24 WPC of gestational age is significantly smaller when compared with the data available for adult cadavers.  相似文献

This study presents an assessment of the vegetable oil extraction from coriander fruits through mechanical pressing, more specifically twin‐screw extrusion. This comprises an evaluation of the oil recovery obtained and its respective quality, as well as the specific mechanical energy, representing an economical point of view. With regard to the extrusion optimization, the screw configuration, the device's filling coefficient and the pressing temperature were varied. The screw configuration was shown to exhibit a key influence on the extraction efficiency and oil recoveries of at least 40 % were reached when the pressing zone was positioned immediately after the filter and consisted of 50 mm long, reverse screws with a ‐33 mm pitch. Furthermore, with a device's filling coefficient of 39.4 g/h rpm and a pressing temperature of 120 °C, an oil recovery of 47 %, the highest of this study, was reached with concurrent low energy consumption. Next to this, operating parameters of 47.1 g/h rpm and 80 °C resulted in the production of a press cake with the lowest residual oil content (15 %) in this study, although this also involved a significant increase in the filtrate's foot content. All the produced oils were of acceptable quality (<1.5 % acidity), showed high petroselinic acid content (73 %), and were pleasantly scented.  相似文献

Regarding a frame of reference as an observer, the notion of frame-indifference (also referred to as objectivity) concerns the transformation properties of physical quantities under change of observer. For kinematic quantities, they can usually be derived from the deformation/motion, while for non-kinematic quantities, such as force and stress, A frame-indifference property must be postulated. frame-indifference postulate for the stress, sometimes unsuitably called the principle of frame-indifference, is a universal assumption, which has nothing to do with material properties. This has caused some confusions in the interpretation of “material” frame-indifference in the literature. Material frame-indifference deals with the constitutive functions, which characterize intrinsic properties of the material under different observers. We shall carefully render these concepts mathematically and deduce the well-known condition of material objectivity as a consequence of the frame-indifference postulate and the principle of material frame-indifference. We shall also emphasize and remark on some persistent controversy and some misleading statements found in recent literature.  相似文献
