In this study, polyindole (PIN) and polyindole/kaolinite (PIN/KAO) composite were synthesized by free radical polymerization using FeCl3 as an initiator. Average particle sizes (d50) of PIN and PIN/KAO composite were determined by dynamic light scattering (DLS) as 7.2 and 6.2 μm, respectively. The samples were characterized by FTIR, elemental analysis, DSC/TGA and SEM measurements. Suspensions of KAO, PIN, and PIN/KAO composite were prepared in silicone oil (SO) and the sedimentation stabilities were determined. Electrorheological (ER) properties of these suspensions were studied as a function of dispersed phase concentration, shear rate, shear stress, and temperature; and yield stresses and excess shear stresses determined. This article analyses regional labor market adjustment in the Finnish provinces during 1976–2000. We investigate the inter-relations of employment, unemployment, labor force participation, and migration to see how a change in region-specific and total labor demand is adjusted. The analysis reveals that region-specific labor demand shocks adjust mainly via participation, whereas total shocks are adjusted by unemployment. The region-specific component of labor demand shock has shorter-lived effects on unemployment and participation, but its effect on employment is permanent. Conversely, total shocks leave no permanent effect. Migration is more important in the region-specific case where, after a few years, it acquires a large role in the adjustment process.  相似文献

In this work a DC plasma reactor was used for deposition of plasma polymerized coating from hexamethyldisiloxane–Ar (35/65%) mixture on polypropylene films. Surface energy parameter have been calculated using Owens–Wendt approaches with the sessile drop method are used to obtain the dispersive γD and polar γP component of surface free energy. The surface morphology of samples were investigated using scanning electron microscope. Also the chemical properties and wetability of prepared samples were tested using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and contact angle measurement, respectively.  相似文献

In the past few years extensive discussions on bioenergy has been both positive and negative. In Europe, the image of bioenergy appears to be low with lack of broad public support. Previous studies show that younger people are unsure about many issues surrounding renewable energy. The aim of this study was to investigate the knowledge and perceptions of bioenergy among pupils in North Karelia, Finland. Data drawn from 495 ninth grade students indicate that the majority of them lack in-depth knowledge about different renewable energy sources, including bioenergy. Only a small percentage has a ‘high’ level of knowledge about bioenergy and the majority indicates critical perceptions of it. Statistically significant gender differences are not apparent. Girls appear to be more knowledgeable than boys. Results also show a clear ‘urban’ and ‘rural’ difference in perceptions of bioenergy. Perceptions of urban respondents being more positive than that of their rural counterparts. Developing collaboration between future bioenergy policies and bioenergy education for younger citizens is necessary for their engagement in critical debates on bioenergy.  相似文献

The new candidates for laser fusion energy with minimized radioactivity were presented. The possibility of side-on laser ignition of H–11B with negligible radioactivity encouraged to study the fusion of solid state H–7Li fuel which again turns out to be only about ten times more difficult than the side-on ignition of solid deuterium–tritium using petawatt-picosecond laser pulses at anomalous interaction conditions if very high contrast ratio. Updated cross sections of the nuclear reaction are included. In other words, the specific approach discussed here involves inducing a fusion burn wave without radioactivity by laser-driven impact of a relatively large block of plasma on the outside of a solid density H–11B and H–7Li targets.  相似文献

In this study, electrorheological (ER) properties of polyindole (PIN) and polyindole/poly (vinyl acetate), (PIN/PVAc) conducting composites having different compositions were investigated. Conductivities and dielectric properties of these composites were determined. The particle sizes of the composites were determined by dynamic light scattering method. Suspensions of PIN and PIN/PVAc composites were prepared in silicone oil, at several concentrations (c = 5–25%, m/m) and their sedimentation stabilities were determined. Then the effects of dispersed particle concentration, shear rate, electric field strength, frequency, and temperature onto ER activities of suspensions were investigated. The flow times of these suspensions at various dc electric field strengths were measured. Further, creep tests were applied to the composite suspensions and a reversible viscoelastic deformation was observed.  相似文献

This study explored relations among childhood physical abuse, internalized homophobia, experiential avoidance, and current psychological symptoms in a community sample of 122 adult lesbians and 115 adult gay men. Childhood physical abuse predicted depression and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms. Furthermore, for gay men, internalized homophobia completely mediated the relation between childhood physical abuse and depression symptoms and partially mediated the relation between childhood physical abuse and PTSD symptoms. However, experiential avoidance did not mediate these relations. In contrast, experiential avoidance partially mediated the relation between childhood physical abuse and PTSD symptoms among lesbians; however, internalized homophobia did not mediate these relations. These findings suggest that internalized homophobia and experiential avoidance may have differential mediating roles in predicting psychological symptoms among lesbians and gay men who have experienced childhood physical abuse. This paper is the results of oxygen ion implantation on morphological and electrical properties of indium phosphate (InP) semiconductor wafers. The oxygen ions were implanted at 30 keV and various doses in the range between 5 × 1015 and 5 × 1017 ions/cm2 and at nearly room temperature. The changes in surface roughness and resistivity before and after the implantation is studied using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and four-point probes technique, respectively. The results show that the resistivity is depend on the ion implantation dose. In addition, the RMS roughness of implanted samples dramatically increases by accumulation of oxygen ion dose.  相似文献

The dielectric properties and ac electrical conductivity of Al/polyindole (Al/PIN) Schottky barrier diodes (SBDs) were investigated by using admittance spectroscopy (capacitance–voltage [CV] and conductance–voltage [G/ω‐V]) method. These CV and G/ω‐V characterizations were performed in the frequency range of 1 kHz to 10 MHz by applying a small ac signal of 40 mV amplitude from the external pulse generator, whereas the dc bias voltage was swept from (−10 V) to (+10 V) at room temperature. The values of dielectric constant (ε′), dielectric loss (ε″), dielectric loss tangent (tanδ), real and imaginary part of electrical modulus (M′ and M″), ac electrical conductivity (σac), and series resistance (Rs) of the Al/PIN SBDs were found to be quite sensitive to frequency and applied bias voltage at relatively low frequencies. Although the values of the ε′, ε″, tanδ, and Rs of the device were observed to decrease with increasing frequencies, the electric modulus and σac increased with increasing frequency for the high forward bias voltages. These results revealed that the interfacial polarization can more easily occur at low frequencies and that the majority of interface states (Nss) between Al and PIN, consequently, contribute to deviation of dielectric properties of the Al/PIN SBDs. Furthermore, the voltage‐dependent profile of both Rs and Nss were obtained from the CV and G/ω‐V characteristics of the Al/PIN SBDs at room temperature. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper presents an optimization approach applied to a whole fuel cell (FC) air supply system including its geometry and its control. The aim is to optimize its power consumption along with its mass. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to define the design parameters of both permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and a fuzzy logic controller (FLC). The results are compared with those obtained by a sequential optimization process and advantages of co-design optimization approach are clearly shown. Indeed, a significant reduction of the objective function (made up on both motor mass and energy consumption) on a considered operating cycle can be obtained.  相似文献
