A growing trend within nanomedicine has been the fabrication of self‐delivering supramolecular nanomedicines containing a high and fixed drug content ensuring eco‐friendly conditions. This study reports on green synthesis of silica nanoparticles (Si‐NPs) using Azadirachta indica leaves extract as an effective chelating agent. X‐ray diffraction analysis and Fourier transform‐infra‐red spectroscopic examination were studied. Scanning electron microscopy analysis revealed that the average size of particles formed via plant extract as reducing agent without any surfactant is in the range of 100–170 nm while addition of cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide were more uniform with 200 nm in size. Streptomycin as model drug was successfully loaded to green synthesised Si‐NPs, sustain release of the drug from this conjugate unit were examined. Here in, we report the charge transport mechanism in semiconducting La0.5Ca0.5Mn0.5Fe0.5O3 (LCMFO) polycrystalline material synthesized via sol–gel auto combustion route. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the orthorhombic phase of the prepared material. Temperature dependent resistivity and impedance spectroscopy measurements have been carried out to probe the dielectric and electrical conduction mechanism which revealed a change of Mott variable range to the small polaronic hopping conduction mechanism around 303 K. The complex impedance and modulus spectra undoubtedly showed the contribution of both grain and grain boundary effect on the conduction properties of LCMFO. An equivalent circuit [(RgbQgb) (RgQg)] model has been used to address the electrical parameters associated with the different phases (grains and grain boundaries) having different relaxation times. The values of resistances of two phases obtained after fitting the equivalent circuit in the nyquist plot have been analyzed which confirmed the change of conduction mechanism around 303 K. The resultant change in conduction mechanism is also supported by the conductivity plots. 相似文献

Nickel alloys including Inconel 718 are considered as challenging materials for machining. Laser beam machining could be a promising choice to deal with such materials for simple to complex machining features. The machining accuracy is mainly dependent on the rate of material removal per laser scan. Because of the involvement of many laser parameters and complexity of the machining mechanism it is not always simple to achieve machining with desired accuracy. Actual machining depth extremely varies from very low to aggressively high values with reference to the designed depth. Thus, a research is needed to be carried out to control the process parameters to get actual material removal rate (MRRact) equals to the theoretical material removal rate (MRRth) with minimum surface roughness (SR) of the machined surfaces. In this study, five important laser parameters have been used to investigate their effects on MRR and SR. Statistical analysis are performed to identify the significant parameters with their strength of effects. Mathematical models have been developed and validated to predict the machining responses. Optimal set of laser parameters have also been proposed and confirmed to achieve the actual MRR close to the designed MRR (MRR% = 100.1%) with minimum surface roughness (Ra = 2.67 µm). 相似文献

In this paper, a reliable stochastic numerical analysis for typhoid fever incorporating with protection against infection has been considered. We have compared the solutions of stochastic and deterministic typhoid fever model. It has been shown that the stochastic typhoid fever model is more realistic as compared to the deterministic typhoid fever model. The effect of threshold number T* hold in stochastic typhoid fever model. The proposed framework of the stochastic non-standard finite difference scheme (SNSFD) preserves all dynamical properties like positivity, bounded-ness and dynamical consistency defined by Mickens, R. Oil palm frond (OPF) fiber, a lignocellulosic waste from the palm oil industry, contains high cellulose and hemicellulose content, thus it is a potential feedstock for simple sugars production. This paper describes the two-stage hydrolysis process focusing on the use of low-temperature dilute acid hydrolysis to convert the hemicellulose in OPF fiber to simple sugars (xylose, arabinose, and glucose). The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of operating conditions of dilute sulfuric acid hydrolysis undertaken in a 1 L self-built batch reactor on xylose production from OPF fiber. The reaction conditions were temperatures (100–140°C), acid concentrations (2–6%), and reaction times (30–240 min). The mass ratio of solid/liquid was kept at 1:30. Analysis of the three main sugars glucose, xylose, and arabinose were determined using high-pressure liquid chromatography. The optimum reaction temperature, reaction time, and acid concentration were found to be 120°C, 120 min, and 2% acid, respectively. Based on the potential amount of xylose (10.8 mg/mL), 94% conversion (10.15 mg/mL) was obtained under the optimum conditions with small amount of furfural (0.016 mg/mL). To enhance the effectiveness of dilute acid hydrolysis, the hydrolysis of OPF fiber was also performed using ultrasonic-pretreated OPF fiber. The effects of ultrasonic parameters power (40–80%) and ultrasonication times (20–60 min) were determined on sugar yields under optimum hydrolysis conditions (2% acid sulfuric, 120°C and 120 min). However, the use of ultrasonication was found to have detrimental effect on the yield of simple sugars due to the 10-fold increase in the formation of furfural. 相似文献

Global demand for functional textiles is continually increasing for both conventional as well as advanced technical applications. Nanomaterials have the potential to transform the textile industry by imparting multifunctional properties such as physical, chemical and biological self‐cleaning, ultraviolet (UV) protection, wrinkle resistance and coloration to textiles without compromising the inherent characteristics of the substrate. This review highlights some of the major applications of nanomaterials to textile substrates to obtain different functional properties.
