The dielectric‐semiconductor interfacial interactions critically influence the morphology and molecular ordering of the organic semiconductor molecules, and hence have a profound influence on mobility, threshold voltage, and other vital device characteristics of organic field‐effect transistors. In this study, p‐channel small molecule/polymer (evaporated pentacene and spin‐coated poly(3,3?;‐didodecylquarterthiophene) – PQT) and n‐channel fullerene derivative ({6}‐1‐(3‐(2‐thienylethoxycarbonyl)‐propyl)‐{5}‐1‐phenyl‐[5,6]‐C61 – TEPP‐C61) show a significant enhancement in device mobilities ranging from ~6 to ~45 times higher for all classes of semiconductors deposited on sol–gel silica gate‐dielectric than on pristine/octyltrichlorosilane (OTS)‐treated thermally grown silica. Atomic force microscopy, synchrotron X‐ray diffraction, photoluminescence/absorption, and Raman spectroscopy studies provide comprehensive evidences that sol–gel silica dielectrics‐induced enhancement in both p‐ and n‐channel organic semiconductors is attributable to better molecular ordering/packing, and hence reduced charge trapping centers due to lesser structural defects at the dielectric‐semiconductor interface.  相似文献

The electronic coupling between a robust red algal photosystem I (PSI) associated with its light harvesting antenna (LHCI) and nanocrystalline n‐type semiconductors, TiO2 and hematite (α‐Fe2O3) is utilized for fabrication of the biohybrid dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSC). PSI‐LHCI is immobilized as a structured multilayer over both semiconductors organized as highly ordered nanocrystalline arrays, as evidenced by FE‐SEM and XRD spectroscopy. Of all the biohybrid DSSCs examined, α‐Fe2O3/PSI‐LHCI biophotoanode operates at a highest quantum efficiency and generates the largest open circuit photo­current compared to the tandem system based on TiO2/PSI‐LHCI material. This is accomplished by immobilization of the PSI‐LHCI complex with its reducing side towards the hematite surface and nanostructuring of the PSI‐LHCI multilayer in which the subsequent layers of this complex are organized in the head‐to‐tail orientation. The biohybrid PSI‐LHCI‐DSSC is capable of sustained photoelectrochemical H2 production upon illumination with visible light above 590 nm. Although the solar conversion efficiency of the PSI‐LHCI/hematite DSSC is currently below a practical use, the system provides a blueprint for a genuinely green solar cell that can be used for molecular hydrogen production at a rate of 744 μmoles H2 mg Chl?1 h?1, placing it amongst the best performing biohybrid solar‐to‐fuel nanodevices.  相似文献

The uncertainty in human brain leads to the formation of epilepsy disease in human. The automatic detection and severity analysis of epilepsy disease is proposed in this article using a hybrid classification algorithm. The proposed method consists of decomposition stage, feature extraction, and classification stages. The electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are decomposed using dual-tree complex wavelet transform and then features are extracted from these coefficients. These features are then classified using the neural network classification approach in order to classify the EEG signals into either focal or nonfocal EEG signals. Furthermore, severity of the focal EEG signal is analyzed using an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system classification approach. The proposed hybrid classification method for the classification of focal signals and nonfocal signals achieved 98.6% of sensitivity, 99.1% of specificity, and 99.4% of accuracy. The average detection rate for both focal and nonfocal dataset is about 98.5%.  相似文献

Here, we report the development of a novel photoactive biomolecular nanoarchitecture based on the genetically engineered extremophilic photosystem I (PSI) biophotocatalyst interfaced with a single layer graphene via pyrene-nitrilotriacetic acid self-assembled monolayer (SAM). For the oriented and stable immobilization of the PSI biophotocatalyst, an His6-tag was genetically engineered at the N-terminus of the stromal PsaD subunit of PSI, allowing for the preferential binding of this photoactive complex with its reducing side towards the graphene monolayer. This approach yielded a novel robust and ordered nanoarchitecture designed to generate an efficient direct electron transfer pathway between graphene, the metal redox center in the organic SAM and the photo-oxidized PSI biocatalyst. The nanosystem yielded an overall current output of 16.5 µA·cm−2 for the nickel- and 17.3 µA·cm−2 for the cobalt-based nanoassemblies, and was stable for at least 1 h of continuous standard illumination. The novel green nanosystem described in this work carries the high potential for future applications due to its robustness, highly ordered and simple architecture characterized by the high biophotocatalyst loading as well as simplicity of manufacturing.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to examine Islamic perspectives on conflict management within project managed environments. Existing research does not reveal any study that examines empirically the Islamic viewpoint on conflict management in contemporary organisational contexts but does indicate that conflict in Islam is considered to be inevitable and a part of human nature, and, if managed properly, is positive and constructive. This paper aims to address this gap, by presenting an empirical analysis of Islamic models of conflict management. It is argued that the three Islamic models discussed, are partially and covertly in existence in environments not traditional to their own. Consequently, the paper finds that there is scope for investigating explicit applied aspects to these Islamic models. The paper concludes that existence of Islamic models for conflict management is visible and has potential for application by project managers without limitation.  相似文献

Facile oxidative homocoupling of benzenes to the respective biphenyls is effected under moderate conditions, using air or oxygen in the presence of catalytic PdCl2 and AcOH/AcONa as solvent. The fast regeneration of the active Pd 2+ species is accomplished by combining several oxygen‐binding catalysts, such as Zr(IV), Mn(II), and Co(II) acetates. In this way, it is possible to increase the content of active oxygen in solution so that the rate of catalyst regeneration is faster than the rate of aggregation of the „spent catalyst”︁, Pd(0), to palladium black. The effects of various process parameters are studied and some mechanistic implications are discussed.  相似文献
