Defect production behavior in hydrogen-implanted n-type silicon has been studied by varying the implantation temperature from 88 K to 303 K. Deep-level transient spectroscopy has been used to reveal electron trap spectra for Schottky diodes fabricated at room temperature after implantation. Metastable defects are observed in addition to vacancy- and hydrogen-related defects. It is found that the production rates of these defects are greatly enhanced by hydrogen implantation near 270 K. It is suggested that hydrogen plays an important role in enhancement of defect production rates, since such defect production behavior is not observed in He-implanted samples.  相似文献

We study the transport phenomena of colloidal particles embedded within a moving array of obstacles that mimics a dynamic, time-varying porous material. While colloidal transport in an array of stationary obstacles (“passive” porous media) has been well studied, we lack the fundamental understanding of colloidal diffusion in a nonequilibrium porous environment. We combine Taylor dispersion theory, Brownian dynamics simulations, and optical tweezer experiments to study the transport of tracer colloidal particles in an oscillating lattice of obstacles. We discover that the dispersion of tracer particles is a nonmonotonic function of oscillation frequency and exhibits a maximum that exceeds the Stokes–Einstein–Sutherland diffusivity in the absence of obstacles. By solving the Smoluchowski equation using a generalized dispersion framework, we demonstrate that the enhanced transport of the tracers depends critically on both the direct interparticle interactions with the obstacles and the fluid-mediated, hydrodynamic interactions generated by the moving obstacles.  相似文献

Immobilized yeast cells extensively produced the diacetyl precursor, α-acetolactate, during alcohol fermentation. The activity of acetohydroxy acid synthetase, which is responsible for the formation of α-acetolactate from pyruvic acid, was high in cell-free extracts of immobilized yeast cells compared with that of free yeast cells. It was suggested that the expression of AHA synthase of immobilized yeast cells was increased during growth in the carrier as compared with free yeast cells. When the initial immobilizing yeast cell concentration was changed from 1.0 × 106 cells/ml to 1.0 × 109 cells/ml, production of α-acetolactate was reduced from 0.94 mg/l to 0.30 mg/l. Furthermore, during continuous fermentation for 10 d, the concentration of α-acetolactate in beer was 0.30 mg/l.  相似文献

This paper describes an autoselection method for the pedal load of an electric cart, and the control system. The method checks the driver’s physical condition just before the start of driving, calculates the driver’s rating of perceived exertion, and uses that to automatically select a suitable pedal load. To ensure that the level of physical exertion is safe, the largest pedal load is determined on the basis of Borg’s CR10, the Karvonen formula, a pedaling experiment, and statistical data. A driver’s degree of fatigue is estimated from his heart rate, and a pedal load (between the largest and almost zero) is automatically selected. In addition, a dynamic output-feedback cart control system was designed that guarantees the stability of the cart system for any allowable pedal load. A stability condition is derived by employing the concept of dynamic parallel distributed compensation. Finally, experiments demonstrate the validity of the method.  相似文献

Photoluminescence (PL) have been studied on Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) thin films, CdS/CIGS and CIGS solar cells, to clarify the carrier recombination process. The chemical-bath deposition (CBD) of the CdS buffer layer on the CIGS thin film leads to (i) the enhancement of near-band-edge PL intensity by a factor of 2–3, (ii) change in energy of the defect-related PL and (iii) the slight change in the decay time. They are related not only to the minimization of the surface recombination but also to the modification of native defects at the Cu-poor surface of CIGS by the occupation of Cd atom at the Cu site. A donor–acceptor pair PL at low-temperature and temperature-dependent PL have been studied. They are discussed in terms of the impurity and defect levels created in the CIGS film during the CBD-CdS process.  相似文献

Three diamensional (3D) measurement method by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) has already been proposed by using the principle of shadow moiré. In the method, the image of original grid in shadow moiré image must be clearly removed in fringe analysis process in order to perform high resolution analysis. A new method based on the principle of projection moiré is proposed to solve the trouble concerning the grid. In this paper, the mechanism of producing some shadows of grid on the surface of the object by back scattering electron beam in the new method is discussed. Fringe image as shadow of grid is analyzed by Wavelet transform. The precise 3D measurement is realized by using the phenomenon of shadows of grid. Furthermore, a 3D micro structure on the head of a hard disk is measured. From the comparison of results obtained by Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), it is confirmed that the proposed method has high-resolution power(about 20nm).  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The Hemopump (DLP/Medtronic) has been in clinical use for about 7 years. There is still no adequate way of determining actual output from the three available pump systems in the clinical situation. If the pump is completely stopped during weaning from the device, there is a possibility of back-leakage through the pump, endangering the patient from regurgitation into the left ventricle. It can also make it more difficult to judge the recovery of heart function because of a volume load of the left ventricle. The aim of this study was to evaluate in a standardized, experimental in vitro model the output from three different-sized Hemopump catheters at various pressure levels and to quantify the back-flow through the pumps. METHODS: The Hemopump models were tested in an in vitro study regarding total outflow at various speeds at three pressure levels. The back-flow through the pumps was also measured with the pumps at a complete stop. RESULTS: The outflow from the Hemopumps ranged from 0.4 to 4.5 L/min, depending on which pump and speed were used. Variations in total output, depending on speed and various pressure settings, could be up to 0.4 L/min. Back-flow through the pump into the left ventricle may be as great as 1.6 L/min. CONCLUSIONS: The flow outputs from the different Hemopump models were reproducible over time and were closely related to the resistance of the model. The Hemopump, if not running, can induce substantial regurgitation through the pump into the left ventricle.  相似文献

While the market potentials and impacts of web-based e-commerce are still in the ascendant, the advances in wireless technologies and mobile networks have brought about a new business opportunity and research attention, what is termed mobile commerce. Commonly, mobile commerce is considered to be another new application of existing web-based e-commerce onto wireless networks, but as an independent business area, mobile commerce has its own advantages and challenges as opposed to traditional e-commerce applications. This paper focuses on exploring the unique features of mobile commerce as compared with traditional e-commerce. Also, there are still some limitations arisen in m-commerce in contrast to web-based e-commerce. Finally, current state of mobile commerce in Japan is presented in brief, with an introduction of several cases involving mobile commerce applications in today's marketplace.  相似文献
