Colo-rectal endometriosis requiring colon resection are reported in 8 patients to illustrated the diagnostic and therapeutic problems encountered in the management of this uncommon localisation. Pericatamenial or catamenial bowel symptoms associated with pelvic genital involvement were encountered in all cases. Clinical examination, barium enema and colonoscopy are essential to guide surgical management looking for multiple localisations. However their diagnostic value is low as endometriosis rarely involves the mucosa. Endosonography appears to be very promising in evaluating the depth of infiltration of the bowel. The treatment of bowel endometriosis is controversial and varies greatly according to the patient's complaints and clinical data. The indications and limits of all treatment modalities including abstention, medical, and surgical treatment are discussed. From the cases reported we conclude that symptomatic bowel endometriosis should be fully excised whenever possible, and the surgical procedure should be adapted to the depth of infiltration. A full thickness excision or bowel resection is mandatory in patients with deep muscularis involvement. These procedures, which are often difficult due to extensive fibrosis and adhesions, may be achieved by laparoscopy in selected patients.  相似文献

The present study revealed that the nutritive value of grape seeds (Vitis vinifera L.) was 383.55±0.13 Kcal/100 g, with magnesium as the most abundant mineral element (70.44±0.88 mg/L). The maximum phenolic (392.58±1.70mg of GAE/g), flavonoid (256.16±1.60 mg of QE/g), and tannin (30.95±0.17mg of CE/g) contents were also found in the ethanol, dichloromethane, and hexane extracts, respectively. The major phytochemical compounds in the ethyl acetate extract were identified via gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) analysis. The ethanol extract has the highest antioxidant activity (IC50=140±1.20 μg/mL for DPPH, 145.28±0.45mg α-tocopherol/g for total antioxidant capacity, and EC50=80±1.41 μg/mL for ferric-reducing power assays). For β-carotene test, the highest antioxidant activity was obtained in the hexane extract. A satisfactory antimicrobial activity was found against a panel of microorganisms with the ethyl acetate extract as the best antimicrobial agent. Additionally, it was found that the bactericidal concentration required for the grape seed extract to kill Listeria monocytogenes should be less than 12.50 mg/mL (minimum inhibitory concentration=4).  相似文献

When designing a service-based business process employing loosely coupled services, one is not only interested in guaranteeing a certain flow of work, but also in how the work will be performed. This involves the consideration of non-functional properties which go from execution time and costs, to trust and security. Ideally, a designer would like to have guarantees over the behavior of the services involved in the process. These guarantees are the object of Service Level Agreements.We propose a methodology to design service-based business processes together with Service Level Agreements that guarantee a certain quality of execution, with particular emphasis on security. Starting from an early requirements analysis modeled in the Secure Tropos formalism, we provide a set of user-guided transformations and reasoning tools the final output of which is a set of processes in the form of Secure BPELs together with a set of Service Level Agreements to be signed by participating services. To show the potential impact of the approach, we illustrate the functioning of the methodology on a collaborative procurement scenario derived from the application domain of a research project.  相似文献

We consider a non-cooperative and symmetric three-stage game played by two regulator-firm hierarchies. We show that R&D spillovers and the competition of firms on the common market help non-cooperating countries to better internalize transboundary pollution. Surprisingly, international competition increases the per-unit emission-tax and decreases the per-unit R&D subsidy. It also leads to a higher investment in R&D and production, and to a lower emission ratio. In most cases, pollution in common market is lower than in autarky, implying a greater social welfare, and the contrary occurs in some other cases.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose an “end-to-end” approach that supports dynamic reconfiguration of software architectures taking advantage of graphical modeling, formal methods and aspect-oriented programming. There are three ingredients of the proposal. The specification end of the solution is covered by a new UML profile enabling to specify the desired architectural style (model), its invariants and the intended reconfiguration operations. In order to verify the consistency of the model and the preservation of the invariants after every reconfiguration, we automatically generate formal specifications in Z notation from the defined model. At the runtime enforcing end of the solution, we propose to encode the enforcement logic as aspect in the AspectJ language. The third important ingredient that makes our approach end-to-end is the automatic translation of formal specifications into aspect-based enforcement code.  相似文献

In the paper, we propose a fuzzy logic controller system to be implemented for smart mobility management in the 5G wireless communication network. Mobility management is considered as a main issue for all-IP mobile networks future generation. As a network-based mobility management protocol, Internet Engineering Task Force developed the Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) in order to support the mobility of IP devices, and many other results were presented to reduce latency handover and the amount of PMIPv6 signaling, but it is not enough for the application needs in real-time. The present paper describes an approach based on the IEEE 802.21 Media Independent Handover (MIH) standard and PMIPv6, so we present a new vertical handover algorithm for anticipating handover process efficiently. Our object is to propose a smart mobility management that contribute in 5G wireless communication system network operating functions. Two proposed dynamic thresholds were successfully made to guaranty process triggering, and a new primitive MIH is proposed for signaling a needed handover to be done. Simulation results demonstrate a significant reduction of the handover delay, packet loss, handover blocking probability and signaling overhead. Simulation results and tests are accomplished.  相似文献

Closed form expressions for the average probability of packet error (PPE) are presented for no diversity, maximum ratio combining (MRC), selection combining (SC) and switch and stay combining (SSC) diversity schemes. The average PPE for the no diversity case is obtained in two alternative expressions assuming arbitrarily correlated Nakagami and Rician fading channels. For the MRC case, L diversity branches are considered and the channel samples are assumed to follow Nakagami distribution and to be arbitrarily correlated in both time and space. For the SC diversity scheme with L diversity branches, two bounds on the average PPE are derived for both slow and fast fading channels. The average PPE in this case is obtained in an infinite integral form for Nakagami channels while it is reduced to a closed form expression for the Rayleigh case. The average PPE is also derived in the case of SSC diversity with dual branches for both slow and fast Rayleigh fading channels. The new formulas are applicable for all modulation schemes where the conditional probability of error has an exponential dependence on the signal‐to‐noise ratio. The average PPE is then used to obtain a modified expression for the throughput for network protocols. In general, the diversity gain exhibits a little diminishing effect as the number of diversity branches increases. In addition, the system is found to be more sensitive to the space correlation than to the time correlation. The effects of different system parameters and diversity schemes are studied and discussed. Specific figures about the system performance are also provided. Bi-Level Optimization Problems (BLOPs) are a class of challenging problems with two levels of optimization tasks. The main goal is to optimize the upper level problem which has another optimization problem as a constraint. The latter is called the lower level problem. In this way, the evaluation of each upper level solution requires finding an (near) optimal solution to the corresponding lower level problem, which is computationally very expensive. Many real world applications are bi-level by nature, ranging from logistics to software engineering. Further, proposed bi-level approaches have been restricted to solve linear BLOPs. This fact has attracted the evolutionary computation community to tackle such complex problems and many interesting works have recently been proposed. Unfortunately, most of these works are restricted to the continuous case. Motivated by this observation, we propose in this paper a new Co-evolutionary Decomposition Algorithm inspired from Chemical Reaction Optimization algorithm, called E-CODBA (Energy-based CODBA), to solve combinatorial bi-level problems. Our algorithm is based on our previous works within this research area. The main idea behind E-CODBA is to exploit co-evolution, decomposition, and energy laws to come up with good solution(s) within an acceptable execution time. The statistical analysis of the experimental results on the Bi-level Multi-Depot Vehicle Routing Problem (Bi-MDVRP) show the out-performance of our E-CODBA against four recently proposed works in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.  相似文献

The phase behaviour of three soft core spherocylinder models is investigated with a view to producing an effective potential for use in coarse-grained simulations of liquid crystal phases and polymers composed of rigid and flexible segments. Provided potentials are not made too soft, two of the soft core models are found to work well in terms of successfully reproducing mesophases and in providing considerable improvements in computational speed over other commonly used coarse-grained models. In Monte Carlo simulations a soft-core spherocylinder model in which a cut and shifted Lennard-Jones potential is truncated with a linear tangential potential is found to be particularly effective; while for molecular dynamics a better model is provided by a DPD-like quadratic potential. Here, computational speed-ups of 20-30× are seen in equilibration times in comparison to the well-known soft repulsive spherocylinder (SRS) model. The quadratic potential is used in an additional set of coarse-grained simulations of a liquid crystal with a flexible chain, which exhibits spontaneous formation of a nematic phase. The use of different types of interaction sites is also illustrated by the simulation of a spherocylinder with two “tails” formed from spheres. Here, varying the hardness of the sphere-spherocylinder interaction potential allows the formation of a smectic-A phase which exhibits microphase separation.  相似文献
