Some approximate indexing schemes have been recently proposed in metric spaces which sort the objects in the database according to pseudo-scores. It is known that (1) some of them provide a very good trade-off between response time and accuracy, and (2) probability-based pseudo-scores can provide an optimal trade-off in range queries if the probabilities are correctly estimated. Based on these facts, we propose a probabilistic enhancement scheme which can be applied to any pseudo-score based scheme. Our scheme computes probability-based pseudo-scores using pseudo-scores obtained from a pseudo-score based scheme. In order to estimate the probability-based pseudo-scores, we use the object-specific parameters in logistic regression and learn the parameters using MAP (Maximum a Posteriori) estimation and the empirical Bayes method. We also propose a technique which speeds up learning the parameters using pseudo-scores. We applied our scheme to the two state-of-the-art schemes: the standard pivot-based scheme and the permutation-based scheme, and evaluated them using various kinds of datasets from the Metric Space Library. The results showed that our scheme outperformed the conventional schemes, with regard to both the number of distance computations and the CPU time, in all the datasets.  相似文献

We have investigated and report in this paper the factors influencing the deformation caused by the dependence between the absorbed X-ray energy on the resist and the shape of the absorber on the X-ray mask. Based on the measurement of errors that occurred during the transferring process between the 2-D shape of mask pattern and the resulting wall of the fabricated 3-D structure, we have developed newly useful graphical data on the absorbed X-ray energy, dosage, and shape of a microstructure. As a result, it is being reported as a method for compensation for the deformed shape after the fabrication of a quadruplets-microneedle. We have considered a number of factors affecting the deformation and finally realized that the effect of a dose–depth nonlinear curve is the most possible cause. Without the compensation of the mask design, we could observe the deformed shapes of the sloped sidewall on the exposed structures. Polymethylmethacrylate microneedle structures fabricated by X-ray lithography with an additional plane-pattern to cross-section transfers technique are directly influenced by the absorber on the X-ray mask pattern. The sidewall of the microneedle was improved by changing the mask pattern from a double right-triangular pattern to a double semi-circular pattern, modeled by comparing the results from a mask-pattern and the actual structure.  相似文献

We are developing novel ultra light-weight and high-resolution X-ray micro pore optics for space X-ray telescopes. In our method, curvilinear micro pore structures are firstly fabricated by silicon deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) or X-ray LIGA processes. Secondly, side walls of the micro structures are smoothed by magnetic field assisted finishing and/or hydrogen annealing techniques for high reflectivity mirrors. Thirdly, to focus parallel X-ray lights from astronomical objects, these structures are elastically or plastically bent into a spherical shape. Fourthly, the bent structures are stacked to form a multi-stage X-ray telescope. In this paper, we report on fabrication and X-ray reflection tests of silicon and nickel X-ray mirrors using the DRIE and LIGA processes, respectively. For the first time, X-ray reflections were confirmed on both of the mirrors. Estimated rms roughnesses were 5 nm and 3 nm for the silicon and nickel mirrors, respectively.  相似文献

In this study, a 5.9‐inch foldable active‐matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display was developed. A folding test was performed repeatedly. The display survived the folding test (100,000 folds) with a curvature radius of 2 mm. To protect an organic light emitting diode (OLED) against moisture, inorganic passivation layers are provided on the upper and lower sides of the flexible display. Using our transfer technology, high density passivation layers can be obtained. The measured water vapor transmission rate of the layer is 7 × 10?6 g/m2?day or less, which improves OLED reliability. With these techniques, we have developed a book‐type display, which is repeatedly foldable like a book, and a tri‐fold display including a display area, which is foldable in three.  相似文献

In the first half of the paper, various types of processing pertaining to a polygon, using the 4×4 determinant theories are explained along with a new containment test algorithm of a point in a polygon. In the latter half of the paper, a general-purpose geometric processor, the POLYGON ENGINE, is presented which can deal with various types of interference problems, such as Boolean operations in solid modelling, hidden line and surface eliminations, ray tracing and so on. It is, a successor of the TRIANGLE PROCESSOR and is also based upon the 4×4 determinant theories [4–6]. While the TRIANGLE PROCESSOR processes a triangulated polygon on a triangle-by-triangle basis, the POLYGON ENGINE can treat a polygon without triangulation. The latter is expected to be more functional, more efficient and easier to use.  相似文献

This paper describes the fabrication of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) microstructures with three-dimensional (3-D) sloped sidewalls using synchrotron-radiated (SR) deep X-ray lithography (DXRL). Here, the developer temperature was varied to produce variations in the inclination angle of the sloped sidewalls. We found that the PMMA sidewall inclination angle and height were controlled by the dosage, development time, and development temperature. When the development temperature was low, the inclination angle was nearly 0°, regardless of dosage amounts or exposure time. When the development temperature was high, microstructures with sloped sidewalls were fabricated; as the dosage amount and development time increased, the inclination angle increased. The ability to control the PMMA sidewall inclination angle suggests the application of this technique to microstructure fabrication technologies, such as 3-D microelectromechanical system (MEMS) device components, in which the inclination angle becomes the draft angle for moulding processes.  相似文献

Films plasticized with polyethylene glycol were cast from alkaline (pH 10.5, 11.0, or 11.5), aqueous egg white (EW) solutions with or without heating (40°C for 30 min). Prior to casting, concentration of surface sulfhydryl (SH) groups was determined and they increased (P < 0.05) (3.81–19.45 μM/g protein) with both pH and heating, presumably due to protein denaturation and cleavage of disulfide (S-S) bonds. Concentration of surface SH groups correlated (P < 0.05) with film tensile strength (r = 0.70), elongation at break (r = 0.86), and film total soluble matter (r =−0.94). Most likely, surface SH groups formed S-S bonds through air oxidation and/or sulfhydryl/disulfide interchange, thus contributing to EW film formation. SDS-PAGE patterns in presence or absence of 2-mercaptoethanol confirmed occurrence of S-S bonding in dried EW films.  相似文献

Plasticizers in duplicate diet samples obtained over 1 week were analysed in order to estimate daily intake. The phthalate esters were as follows: diethyl, dipropyl, dibutyl, dipentyl, dihexyl, butylbenzyl, dicyclohexyl, di(2-ethylhexyl), dioctyl, diisooctyl (mixture of isomers) and diisononyl (mixture). Di(2-ethylhexyl) adipate was also determined. Homogenized samples of composite meals were extracted with acetonitrile, lipids were removed by extraction into n-hexane and the acetonitrile layer was cleaned using FlorisilR and R Bondesil PSA dual layer column. Phthalates were determined by GC/MS (SIM). Phthalate recovery from the fortified food mixture by this method was 62.5-140.8%. Quality assurance as assessed by three laboratories indicated coefficient of variance in the levels of detected phthalates in same lot samples as below 10%. Detection limits were 0.1-23ng/g for each phthalate. One-week duplicate diet samples provided by three hospitals in three remote prefectures of Japan were analysed as individual meals. In all 63 samples, DEHP was present at the highest level among all phthalates in the range 10-4400ng/g. The intake of plasticizers estimated from all samples was 519 µ g DEHP/day, 86 µ g DEHA/day, 65 µ g DINP/day, and 4.7 µ g BBP/day. Calculated DEHP in 2-day samples out of 21 days exceeded EU TDI for a person of 50kg body weight (1850 µ g per day). Disposable PVC gloves used during the preparation of meals were suspected as the source of the high DEHP content. One-day intake of the other phthalates and DEHA was below 7% of TDI in all cases. High concentrations of DEHP (5990ng/g) was found in baby food used in quality assurance work. The source of contamination was the PVC-tube used during production and was effectively reduced by replacing the tube by one made of stainless steel.  相似文献

Developments of the high field ESR system in Kobe University is presented. Using Gunn oscillators and backward traveling oscillators (BWO), we can cover the frequency region from 30 to 1183.6 GHz with the use of InSb detector. Pulsed magnetic field up to 30 T is available and we are now trying to extend the field up to 40 T. Temperature range is from 1.8 to 300 K. Using this system, we studied S=1/2 ladder like system Cu2(C5H12N2)2Cl4, and found a new magnetic transition at 10.1 T at 1.8 K. The temperature dependence of ESR in Cu2(C5H12N2)2CI4 shows g-shift below 8 K which corresponds to the maximum of the magnetic susceptibility. The g-shift below 8 K suggests the increase of the quantum fluctuation in the system, and the role of the quantum fluctuation in Cu2(C5H12N2)2CI4 is discussed.  相似文献
