The multi-axial warp knitted fabric (MWK) is a useful reinforcement for composite. Higher mechanical performance resulted from no crimp of the fibre bundle is achieved compared with the general textile composites. For the fibre bundle of MWK, only one type of reinforcement fibre among glass, carbon fibre bundle, and so on has been selected. The mechanical properties and the cost of MWK composite depend on the feature of the fibre bundle. In order to extend the applicability of composite, the concept of “fibre hybrid composite” was applied into the MWK composite. Two kinds of fibre bundle; carbon and glass, were used in the 0/90 multi-axial warp knitted fabric. As the fibre hybrid composite; the inter-layer hybrid composite in which each layer was fabricated by carbon and glass fibre bundle respectively was investigated. Impact properties of composite were investigated by using drop weight impact tests. In case of unsaturated polyester, total energy and progressive energy of inter-layer fibre hybrid composite realized the highest value in all specimens. However, in case of epoxy resin, inter-layer hybrid composite didn’t realize the highest value in all specimens. The difference in energy absorption capability could be described with the fracture mechanism. 相似文献

We have produced thick-foil and fine-pitch gas electron multipliers (GEMs) using a laser etching technique. To improve production yield we have employed a new material, liquid crystal polymer, instead of polyimide as an insulator layer. The effective gain of the thick-foil GEM with a hole pitch of , a hole diameter of , and a thickness of reached a value of 104 at an applied voltage of 720 V. The measured effective gain of the thick-foil and fine-pitch GEM ( pitch, diameter, and thick) was similar to that of the thick-foil GEM. The gain stability was measured for the thick-foil and fine-pitch GEM, showing no significant increase or decrease as a function of elapsed time from applying the high voltage. The gain stability over 3 h of operation was about 0.5%. Gain mapping across the GEM showed a good uniformity with a standard deviation of about 4%. The distribution of hole diameters across the GEM was homogeneous with a standard deviation of about 3%. There was no clear correlation between the gain and hole diameter maps. 相似文献

A simple low-vacuum coater has been fabricated by using a vacuum resin degassing chamber, in which an aluminum effusion cell is heated by a soldering iron. Our developed vacuum coater presents the versatile methods for depositing paraffin wax for skin-coating the sensing layers of quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). As the increase of the cell temperature, the thickness and inhomogeneity of the wax films were increased. Impedance analyses revealed that the energy dissipation of the QCM was remarkably enhanced with the amount of wax. It was also revealed that the as-deposited wax was fluidic until coagulation by heat radiation. This surface skin coating enhanced the ethyl acetate (EA) sorption capabilities of the polyethylene-sputtered QCM sensor, whereas, it reduced the EA sorption capacity of the d-phenylalanine-sputtered QCM sensor. 相似文献

AbstractIn this study, we propose a new robot system consisting of a mobile robot and a snake robot. The system works not only as a mobile manipulator but also as a multi-agent system by using the snake robot's ability to separate from the mobile robot. Dietary phospholipids have been traditionally known to affect micelle formation. Egg yolk-derived lysophospholipids (LysoPL) are commercially available. We investigated the effects of dietary LysoPL on lymphatic lipid transport. We also compared sn-1 LysoPL and sn-2 LysoPL, which have different fatty acyl esterification positions. Thoracic lymph duct-cannulated rats were fed a diet supplemented with egg yolk-derived sn-1 LysoPL, sn-2 LysoPL, or phospholipids (PL). The amount of lymphatic lipid transport was also evaluated. Time courses of transport were applied to the one-compartment model as one of the pharmacokinetic analyses. The solubility of cholesterol in bile acid micelles was measured. Compared to the PL diet, the sn-1 and sn-2 LysoPL diets significantly reduced the lymphatic transport of cholesterol. There were no differences in the lymphatic PL and TAG transport. There was no difference in cholesterol transport between the sn-1 LysoPL group and the sn-2 LysoPL group; however, the transport rate constant at a decrease in lymphatic cholesterol was lower in the sn-1 LysoPL group than in the sn-2 LysoPL group. Cholesterol solubility in bile acid micelles was significantly decreased in the sn-1 LysoPL and sn-2 LysoPL groups compared to that in the PL group. Sr2GdAlO5:Ce and Sr3AlO4F:Ce are isostructural phosphors in which the Ce3+ 4f-5d1 transition can be efficiently excited by a photon with energy lower than 3.1 eV. Herein, we analyze the crystal chemistry of the Ce3+ local coordination, compare the thermal quenching behavior and construct the electronic structure of Ce3+ in them. The Rietveld refinement on two occupancy models suggests that Gd3+ only occupies the 8h site in Sr2GdAlO5; this provides a hint on the preferred occupancy of dopant Ce3+ in this site. The large crystal filed splitting of Ce8h is mainly due to the fact that the 8h site is bonded to two oxygen with relatively short dSr/Gd-O and forms a quasi-square antiprism which experiences a large distortion. The Ce3+ 5d-4f luminescence in Sr3AlO4F is much more stable against thermal quenching than that in Sr2GdAlO5, as evidenced by the temperature-dependent luminescence intensity and luminescence decay studies. The energy of the O2−-Eu3+/2+ and O2−-Ce4+/3+ charge transfer as well as bandgap were estimated and the electronic structure of Ce3+ were constructed. A larger energy barrier ΔEdC between the Ce3+ 5d1 level and the conduction band bottom in Sr3AlO4F is seen from the Vacuum Referred Binding Energy (VRBE) diagrams which explains the higher thermal quenching temperature by thermal ionization model. 相似文献

A systematic experimental study on the wake-field characteristics of a high-intensity, multibunched electron beam was carried out in detail at the primary electron section of the KEK positron generator linac. The observed energy spectrum, which indicated the energy variation of one bunch from another, was explained fairly well by the multibunch effect of a longitudinal wake field; the importance of introducing a self-wake loss and a bunch-length effect into calculations of the energy loss due to a longitudinal wake field is noted. On the other hand, a transverse motion of each bunch, showing a peculiar behavior when the transverse instability occurred, was in good agreement with the results of a numerical calculation based on a multibunch version of Wilson's two-particle model. Brain excitability has been inconsistently reported to be increased both in hypo- and hyperthyroidism, but there have been few studies on the effects of thyroid hormones on brain excitability in children. With this in mind, we investigated the incidence of febrile convulsions (FCs) among patients with congenital hypothyroidism, who have been taking L-thyroxine since the age of 1 month. The incidence of FCs among congenital hypothyroid patients was 1.6% (1/63) which was significantly low (p < 0.05) compared with that of normal control children who visited our hospitals as outpatients (28/341, 8.2%) and that of others (322/3301, 9.8%) investigated 33 years ago in the same area. The incidence of FC among siblings of the 63 patients (7/74, 9.5%) was not statistically different from the controls. At least 8 of the 126 parents (6.4%) had experienced FC, however, only one child was affected in the 8 families. In conclusion, it seems likely that patients with congenital hypothyroidism on regular L-T4 replacement are less prone to experience FC. More studies on the incidence of convulsive disorders in children with thyroid diseases are needed to clarify the effects of thyroid hormones on brain excitability. 相似文献
