For new application of technical lignins as separator material for electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC), we tried first to prepare bipolyester film by melt-polycondensation of polyethylene glycol lignin (PEGL) and maleic anhydride. The EDLC assembled with this film, however, showed lower electrochemical performance than the reference EDLC with commercial cellulosic separator. Porous bipolyester film was then prepared and the resulting EDLC exhibited improved specific capacitance, but high intrinsic and charge transfer resistances. Non-porous terpolyester film was prepared next, using polyethylene glycol 500,000 to improve flexibility of the film, which might lower the resistances. This film was flexible enough and provided the resulting EDLC with superior electrochemical performance to the bipolyester film. EDLC with porous terpolyester film was finally prepared and showed the highest electrochemical performance, comparable to the reference EDLC. Porous morphology and flexibility were key factors to fabricate lignin-based self-standing film as separator material for high-performance EDLC.  相似文献

In future space missions, it is considered that many tasks will be achieved by cooperative motions of space robots. For free-floating space robots with manipulators, we have proposed a digital tracking control method using the transpose of the generalized Jacobian matrix (GJM). In this paper, the tracking control method using the transpose of the GJM is applied to cooperative manipulations of a floating object by space robots. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the control method. For free floating space robots having manipulators, we have proposed a discrete-time tracking control method using the transpose of Generalized Jacobian Matrix (GJM). Control inputs of the control method are joint torques of the manipulator. In this paper, the control method is augmented for angular velocity inputs of the joints. Computer simulations have shown the effectiveness of the augmented method. This paper deals with a control scheme for underwater vehicle-manipulator systems with the dynamics of thrusters in the presence of uncertainties in system parameters. We have developed two controllers that overcome thruster nonlinearities, which cause an uncontrollable system: one is a regressor-based adaptive controller and the other is a robust controller. However, the structure of the adaptive controller is very complex due to the feedforward terms including the regressors of dynamic system models, and the error feedback gains of the robust controller with a good control performance are excessively high due to the lack of feedforward terms. In this paper we develop an adaptive controller that uses radial basis function networks instead of the feedforward terms. The replacement leads to a moderately high gain controller whose structure is simpler than that of the regressor-based adaptive controller.  相似文献

Trastuzumab-emtansine (T-DM1) is a therapeutic agent molecularly targeting human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive metastatic breast cancer (MBC), and it is especially effective for MBC with resistance to trastuzumab. Although several reports have described T-DM1 resistance, few have examined the mechanism underlying T-DM1 resistance after the development of acquired resistance to trastuzumab. We previously reported that YES1, a member of the Src family, plays an important role in acquired resistance to trastuzumab in HER2-amplified breast cancer cells. We newly established a trastuzumab/T-DM1-dual-resistant cell line and analyzed the resistance mechanisms in this cell line. At first, the T-DM1 effectively inhibited the YES1-amplified trastuzumab-resistant cell line, but resistance to T-DM1 gradually developed. YES1 amplification was further enhanced after acquired resistance to T-DM1 became apparent, and the knockdown of the YES1 or the administration of the Src inhibitor dasatinib restored sensitivity to T-DM1. Our results indicate that YES1 is also strongly associated with T-DM1 resistance after the development of acquired resistance to trastuzumab, and the continuous inhibition of YES1 is important for overcoming resistance to T-DM1.  相似文献

We propose a digital control method for space robot manipulators using the transpose of the generalized Jacobian matrix. The method, however, is developed on the supposition that all the physical parameters of the robot manipulator are known. Therefore, if the end-effector of the manipulator captures an object whose mass is unknown, the stability of the control system cannot be maintained because the physical parameters are changed. Gut endocrine cells possess the capacity to take up and decarboxylate biogenic amine precursors. Decarboxylation is mediated by aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase (AADC) which is encoded by mRNAs differing in their 5' untranslated regions (UTR) depending on the usage of alternative first exons, 1a and 1b, each with its own acceptor site (-13 and -8 bases relative to the translation start site, respectively). We describe here a novel splice variant of exon 1a-AADC mRNA in rat antral mucosa. Both exon 1a and 1b mRNAs were expressed in rat antral mucosa, but the 1a form was spliced into the acceptor site usually associated with exon 1b (-8). An enteroendocrine cell line (STC-1) expressed exon 1a or exon 1b mRNAs spliced into the -8 acceptor site of exon 2. Transient transfection of a range of cell lines with reporter constructs revealed that all three 5' UTRs efficiently supported expression of the Luciferase reporter. There is therefore a novel, functional 5' UTR of AADC mRNA in rat antral mucosa; alternative AADC splice variants could provide the capacity for control at the level of mRNA translation.  相似文献

As a part of our efforts to clarify structure-function relationships in reactions catalyzed by deoxyribozymes (DNAzymes), which were recently selected in vitro , we synthesized various chimeras and analyzed the kinetics of the corresponding cleavage reactions. We focused on the binding arms and generated helices composed of binding arms and substrates that consisted of RNA and RNA, of RNA and DNA or of DNA and DNA. As expected for the rate limiting chemical cleavage step in reactions catalyzed by DNAzymes, a linear relationship between log( k cat) and pH was observed. In all cases examined, introduction of DNA into the binding helix enhanced the rate of chemical cleavage. Comparison of CD spectra of DNAzyme. substrate complexes suggested that higher levels of B-form-like helix were associated with higher rates of cleavage of the substrate within the complex. To our surprise, the enhancement of catalytic activity that followed introduction of DNA into the binding helix (enhancement by the presence of more B-form-like helix) was very similar to that observed in the case of the hammerhead ribozymes that we had investigated previously. These data, together with other observations, strongly suggest that the reaction mechanism of metal-ion-dependent DNAzymes is almost identical to that of hammerhead ribozymes.  相似文献
