This paper mainly addresses formation control problem of non-holonomic systems in an optimized manner. Instead of using linearization to solve this problem approximately, we designed control laws with guaranteed global convergence by leveraging nonlinear transformations. Under this nonlinear transformation, consensus of non-holonomic robots can be converted into a stabilization problem, to which optimal treatment applies. This concept is then extended to the formation control and tracking problem for a team of robots following leader-follower strategy. A trajectory generator prescribes the feasible motion of virtual reference robot, a decentralized control law is used for each robot to track the reference while maintaining the formation. The asymptotic convergence of follower robots to the position and orientation of the reference robot is ensured using the Lyapunov function which is also generated using chained form differential equations. In order to witness the efficacy of the scheme, simulations results are presented for Unicycle and Car-like robots.  相似文献

The quantity of information placed on the web has been greater than before and is increasing rapidly day by day. Searching through the huge amount of data and finding the most relevant and useful result set involves searching, ranking, and presenting the results. Most of the users probe into the top few results and neglect the rest. In order to increase user’s satisfaction, the presented result set should not only be relevant to the search topic, but should also present a variety of perspectives, that is, the results should be different from one another. The effectiveness of web search and the satisfaction of users can be enhanced through providing various results of a search query in a certain order of relevance and concern. The technique used to avoid presenting similar, though relevant, results to the user is known as a diversification of search results. This article presents a survey of the approaches used for search result diversification. To this end, this article not only provides a technical survey of existing diversification techniques, but also presents a taxonomy of diversification algorithms with respect to the types of search queries.  相似文献

Linux malware can pose a significant threat—its (Linux) penetration is exponentially increasing—because little is known or understood about Linux OS vulnerabilities. We believe that now is the right time to devise non-signature based zero-day (previously unknown) malware detection strategies before Linux intruders take us by surprise. Therefore, in this paper, we first do a forensic analysis of Linux executable and linkable format (ELF) files. Our forensic analysis provides insight into different features that have the potential to discriminate malicious executables from benign ones. As a result, we can select a features’ set of 383 features that are extracted from an ELF headers. We quantify the classification potential of features using information gain and then remove redundant features by employing preprocessing filters. Finally, we do an extensive evaluation among classical rule-based machine learning classifiers—RIPPER, PART, C4.5 Rules, and decision tree J48—and bio-inspired classifiers—cAnt Miner, UCS, XCS, and GAssist—to select the best classifier for our system. We have evaluated our approach on an available collection of 709 Linux malware samples from vx heavens and offensive computing. Our experiments show that ELF-Miner provides more than 99% detection accuracy with less than 0.1% false alarm rate.  相似文献

Taxonomy of the genus Berberis is quite complex, due to overlapping morphological characters, making it very difficult to differentiate the species within the genus. In order to resolve this taxonomic complexity, the foliar anatomy of 10 Berberis L. species was carried out, for the first time from Pakistan, using light microscopy (LM). Significant variation in terms of epidermal cells shape, size, cell wall pattern, and stomata type was observed. B. baluchistanica has the largest epidermal cells, Adaxial: length = 45–(53.9 ± 3.6)–62.5 μm; and width = 22.5–(26.3 ± 1.3)–30 μm; Abaxial: length = 37.5–(43.25 ± 2.5)–50 μm; and width = 20–(22.6 ± 0.8)–25. The highest number of stomata was observed in B. glaucocarpa as 62 on the abaxial surface while the lowest number of stomata was recorded in B. baluchistanica as 8 on the adaxial surface. Of 10 investigated species, 6 possess anomocytic type stomata, while 2 species that is, B. aitchisonii and B. parkeriana have both anomocytic and anisocytic stomata while B. baluchistanica and B. calliobotrys have only paracytic type stomata. The highest number of cells per unit area was present on the adaxial surface of B. calliobotrys ranging from 245–(252.4)–260 followed by B. parkeriana with 209–(227.8)–250 on the abaxial surface. Stomatal index (SI) also varied considerably and was the lowest (2.6) percentage in B. baluchistanica and highest (31.9) percentage in B. kunawurensis. A taxonomic key based on micro‐morphological characters is provided for species identification.  相似文献

The partitioning of colour differences into ΔL*, ΔC* and ΔH* is not directly equivalent to the dyer’s method of partitioning. The dyer’s method involves separation into the components of depth (ΔD), brightness (ΔB) and hue (ΔH), of which only hue difference has a qualitative (and quantitative) equivalent in the CIELAB system. Depth and brightness are important terms to dyers. Depth is related to the amount of dye taken up by a textile material and brightness to that component of colour difference that is neither depth nor hue. Brightness is best defined as the opposite of dullness, dullness being related to the amount of neutral grey present in the colour. An algorithm, called the Wardman–Smith–Farooq algorithm, has been developed to compute the dyers’ variables of ΔD,ΔB and ΔH from spectral reflectance values, enabling dyers to take full advantage of colorimetry. The algorithm is based on extensive experimental work to map surfaces of constant visual depth through the colour space and this paper describes the methodology of the calculation. The correlations of the values of ΔD,ΔB and ΔH, determined using the Wardman–Smith–Farooq algorithm with other empirical models for 117 sample pairs, are given.  相似文献

Porous polymer scaffolds designed by the cryogel method are attractive materials for a range of tissue engineering applications. However, the use of toxic crosslinker for retaining the pore structure limits their clinical applications. In this research, acrylates (HEA/PEGDA, HEMA/PEGDA and PEGDA) were used in the low-temperature solid-state photopolymerization to produce porous scaffolds with good structural retention. The morphology, pore diameter, mineral deposition and water absorption of the scaffold were characterized by SEM and water absorption test respectively. Elemental analysis and cytotoxicity of the biomineralized scaffold were revealed by using XRD and MTT assay test. The PEGDA-derived scaffold showed good water absorption ability and a higher degree of porosity with larger pore size compared to others. XRD patterns and IR results confirmed the formation of hydroxyapatite crystals from an alternative socking process. The overall cell proliferation was excellent, where PEGDA-derived scaffold had the highest and the most uniform cell growth, while HEMA/PEGDA scaffold showed the least. These results suggest that the cell proliferation and adhesion are directly proportional to the pore size, the shape and the porosity of scaffolds.  相似文献

Annealed specimens of 99.99% pure iron were irradiated with 500, 750, 1000, and 1250 Nd:YAG laser shots. The laser fluence and laser intensity at the laser irradiation spot on the target surface were 4.4 × 103 J/cm2 and 4.8 × 1011 W/cm2, respectively. Vickers hardness of irradiated specimens was measured at various points separated by 0.5 mm in four different mutually perpendicular directions around the laser irradiation spot. The surface hardness profile for each irradiated specimen shows an increasing trend in surface hardness till a distance of 3.5 mm from the reference point. The average surface hardness (ASH) is found to increase up to 21% and electrical resistivity increases up to 50% as the number of laser shots is increased to 1250. A linear relationship between electrical resistivity and ASH is observed. Moreover, the ASH follows the well-known Hall-Petch relation, indicating that the crystallite boundaries impede the motion of dislocations to a greater extent as the crystallite size gets smaller.  相似文献
