PetroChina Drills Risk Exploration Wells in Africa

China National Oil Development Corporation （CNODC）, one of the subsidiaries under PetroChina responsible for the overseas oil exploration and development business, started to drill its first exploration well - Saha-1 on Tenere Block in Niger on October 30. This is another risk exploration well CNODC has drilled in this region following Bel E-I drilled on Block 350 in Algeria on September 15 and Heron-1 drilled on Block 20 in Mauritania on October 13. The drilling of those wells indicates a substantial stage of PetroChina＇s overseas large-scale risk oil and gas exploration in the Central and Northern Africa.

SiGe VCOs operating up to 88 GHz, suitable for automotive radar sensors

VCOs fully integrated in an SiGe preproduction technology are presented. By cutting interconnection lines a wide frequency range can be covered, up to 88.4 GHz. Special effort has been made to meet the demands for 77 GHz automotive radar. In the corresponding tuning range from 75.3 to 79.6 GHz, an output power of about 11 dBm (with -2.2 dBm potential measurement uncertainty) was achieved for each of the two complementary outputs, i.e. in total 14 dBm. The phase noise is about -94 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset frequency.     

网络管理中事件关联检测机制的研究

网络事件的关联检测是网络管理需要解决的一个关键问题,本文根据分布式网络管理的特点,首次明确定义了网络事件的基本关联关系,在此基础上提出了一种基于Petri Net的事件关联检测机制,实现了基于事件内容的细粒度关联检测,并且在事件检测中充分考虑了时间因素,有效地提高了事件关联检测的准确性。

Analysis of the time response of multiconductor transmission lineswith frequency-dependent losses by the method ofconvolution-characteristics

A new method for analysis of the time response of multiconductor transmission lines with frequency-dependent losses is presented. This method can solve the time response of various kinds of transmission lines with arbitrary terminal networks. Particularly, it can analyze nonuniform lines with frequency-dependent losses, for which no effective method for analyzing their time response exists. This method starts from the frequency-domain telegrapher's equations. After decoupling and inversely Fourier transforming, then a set of decoupled time-domain equations including convolutions are given. These equations can be solved with the characteristic method. The results obtained with this method are stable and accurate. Two examples are given to illustrate the application of this method to various multiconductor transmission lines

The correlation of texture and magnetic properties in Co-Cr films

This investigation focuses on the correlation between the crystallographic orientation of grains with respect to magnetic properties in Co-Cr films. Based on a distribution measured for the (0002) crystallographic pole densities, modified formulae describing the texture were used to calculate the coercivity Hc, the squareness ratio Rs (Mr⊥/TMs) and the anisotropy field Ha for Co-Cr films. In general, calculated values for the coercive force He agreed well with the measured values. The calculated Rs⊥. values were much larger than the measured ones, however, indicating that the influence of the demagnetizing field and the magnetostriction on the orientation of the magnetization cannot be neglected.
