Hydrothermal synthesis is of considerable interest due to its low cost, simplicity and relatively low growth temperature (typically below 200 °C). Since the synthesis is performed in aqueous solutions (no organic solvents), it can also be safe and environmentally friendly (depending on precursor chemicals). Consequently, it has been a subject of intense research in recent years. In this article, we review recent progress in hydrothermal synthesis of zinc oxide nanomaterials, with focus on practical relevance for a variety of applications.  相似文献

This paper presents a new approach to multiobjective engineering optimization: the generalized center method (GCM). A multiobjective problem is solved by calculating the centers of a sequence of level sets. These sets comprise intersections of the original constraints and level constraints imposed on objective functions. In view of the different dimensions and conflicting nature of multiple objectives, some scaling and trade-off procedures are implemented. Several engineering optimization examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The Planck High Frequency Instrument (HFI) has been surveying the sky continuously from the second Lagrangian point (L2) between August 2009 and January 2012. It operates with 52 high impedance bolometers cooled at 100 mK in a range of frequency between 100 GHz and 1 THz with unprecedented sensitivity, but strong coupling with cosmic radiation. At L2, the particle flux is about 5 \(\hbox {cm}^{-2}\,\hbox {s}^{-1}\) and is dominated by protons incident on the spacecraft. Protons with an energy above 40 MeV can penetrate the focal plane unit box causing two different effects: glitches in the raw data from direct interaction of cosmic rays with detectors (producing a data loss of about 15 % at the end of the mission) and thermal drifts in the bolometer plate at 100 mK adding non-Gaussian noise at frequencies below 0.1 Hz. The HFI consortium has made strong efforts in order to correct for this effect on the time ordered data and final Planck maps. This work intends to give a view of the physical explanation of the glitches observed in the HFI instrument in-flight. To reach this goal, we performed several ground-based experiments using protons and \(\alpha \) particles to test the impact of particles on the HFI spare bolometers with a better control of the environmental conditions with respect to the in-flight data. We have shown that the dominant part of glitches observed in the data comes from the impact of cosmic rays in the silicon die frame supporting the micro-machined bolometric detectors propagating energy mainly by ballistic phonons and by thermal diffusion. The implications of these results for future satellite missions will be discussed.  相似文献

The results of measuring the first spectra of relative quantum efficiency for photoconversion in thin-film ZnO/CdS/Cu(In,Ga)Se2/Mo solar cells fabricated on rigid (glass) and flexible (polyimide) substrates are reported. The character of interband transitions has been studied and the values of the band gap for direct and indirect transitions in thin Cu(In,Ga)Se2 films are determined. It is found that a shift of the maximal photosensitivity for the obtained solar cells to shorter wavelengths is observed as rigid substrates are replaced by flexible ones. It is concluded that thin-film Cu(In,Ga)Se2 structures can be used as broad-band photoconverters of solar radiation.  相似文献

Validation of coupled codes using VVER plant measurements   总被引:3,自引:4,他引:3  
A data set of five transients at different VVER type nuclear power plants was collected in order to validate neutron kinetics/thermal hydraulics codes. Two of these transients ‘drop of control rod at nominal power at Bohunice-3’ of VVER-440 type and ‘coast-down of 1 from 3 working MCPs at Kozloduy-6’ of VVER-1000 type, were then utilised for code validation. Eight institutes contributed to the validation with 10 calculations using 5 different combinations of coupled codes. The thermal hydraulic codes were ATHLET, SMABRE and RELAP5 and the neutron kinetic codes DYN3D, HEXTRAN, KIKO3D and BIPR8. The general behaviour of both the transients was quite well calculated with all the codes. Even an elementary modelling of coolant mixing in reactor pressure vessel under asymmetric transients improved correspondence to the measurements. Some differences between the calculations seem to indicate that fuel modelling and treatment of VVER-440 control rods need further consideration. The simultaneous validation interacted with the data collection effort and thus improved its quality. The complexity of data collection systems and sometimes conflicting data, however, called for compromises and interpretation guides that also taught the analysts balanced plant modelling.  相似文献

We have measured the fraction of the ions transmitted through nanocapillaries with their initial charge state for 200 keV Xe7+ ions impact on a polycarbonate (PC) foil with a thickness of 30 μm and a diameter of 150 nm. An Au film was evaporated on both the front and back side. It is found that more than 97% of the transmitted ions remain in their initial charge state. Then, the transmitted ion fraction and the characteristic tilt angle of 40 keV Xe7+ ions through this foil and another one with the same thickness and diameter, but evaporated by Au only on the front side, were measured. By comparing the results of these two foils, the influence of the ions deposited in the capillary exit region on the transmitted ion fraction and the characteristic tilt angle is studied. In comparison with the foil evaporated by Au on both sides, the maximum transmitted ion fraction of the foil evaporated by Au on the front side only is nearly 4 times smaller. Also, the characteristic tilt angle is slightly decreased. These results are discussed within the models for the guiding effect.  相似文献

Proton beam writing (PBW) is a powerful tool for prototyping microphotonic structures in a wide variety of materials including polymers, insulators, semiconductors and metals. Prototyping is achieved either through direct fabrication with the proton beam, or by the fabrication of a master that can be used for replication. In recent times we have explored the use of PBW for various advanced optical applications including fabrication of subwavelength metallic structures and metamaterials, direct write of silicon waveguides for mid IR applications and integrated waveguides for lab-on-a-chip devices. This paper will review the recent progress made in these areas with particular emphasis on the main advantages of using the PBW technique for these novel applications.  相似文献

Structural evaluation of thermal stratification for PWR surge line   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Recent observations at operating plants and subsequent US NRC requirements have identified flow stratification in surge lines as a phenomenon that must be considered in the design basis of surge lines. To address these concerns, the stratified loading conditions were included in the design of YGN 3 and 4 surge line as a design basis transient and pipe temperature and displacement measurement were taken during YGN 3 pre-core hot functional testing to determine the degree of surge line flow stratification. The measured displacements and temperatures were extensively reviewed and evaluated in detail: (1) to verify the validity of the thermal hydraulic model used to predict the pipe top-to-bottom temperature differentials; (2) to analytically correlate measured surge line temperatures and displacements; and (3) to confirm the validity of the stratified flow analysis procedure. This paper shows that the stratified flow phenomenon is generic and therefore generic loadings can be developed and evaluated for the surge line analyses.  相似文献

The phase relationship between ZrO2 and PuO2 was examined in a low PuO2 content region, from 3.1 to 11.2 mol% PuO2, at temperatures between 1273 K and 1473 K, by high temperature X-ray diffractometry. The measurements were carried out in air. At 1273 K, the samples in this composition range consisted of two phases, monoclinic and cubic. Another phase, tetragonal, was observed at 1373 K. The low temperature monoclinic phase disappeared at 1473 K. It was confirmed that the monoclinic phase disappears around 1463 K; the disappearance temperature does not depend on the composition of the sample. It was, thus, inferred that there should be a eutectoid line in the phase diagram. Though the eutectoid point is not clear, the PuO2 content at the point should be less than 3.1 mol%.  相似文献

A weighted solution for the critical load of a cylindrical shell is presented. To determine the weights, some special known results are applied. The method can be used to solve generally complicated buckling problems by making use of the solutions of special simple problems. Lastly, some numerical solutions for the same problem are obtained by finite elements. Comparison between the solution method in this paper, the finite element solution and cited results in the literature, shows that the weighted solution has good precision.  相似文献
