Polyamidoamine dendrimers as curing agents: The optimum polyamidoamine concentration selected by dynamic torsional vibration method and thermogravimetric analyses

Polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers were investigated as curing agents in bisphenol A epoxy resin systems. The cure behavior of epoxy resin/PAMAM at varying components was investigated by a dynamic torsional vibration method (DTVM); the thermal behavior of the materials was characterized by means of thermogravimetric (TGA) analyses. The DTVM results show that 10/100 parts of the resin (phr) PAMAM was the optimum concentration for 1.0, 3.0, and 5.0 G PAMAM dendrimers/resin systems in our experiment. Studies on grafting of acrylic acid onto polypropylene melt‐blown nonwovens induced by electron‐beam preirradiation

We report the graft copolymerization of acrylic acid onto the polypropylene (PP) melt‐blown nonwovens induced by electron beam (EB) preirradiation in this article. The occurrence of the graft copolymerization was confirmed by means of XPS, FTIR, and SEM. The effects of preirradiation dose, monomer concentration, bath ratio, reaction time, and temperature on the graft ratio were investigated. The water conservation, water absorption rate, and K⁺ exchange capacity were also determined on the grafted PP melt‐blown nonwovens, which showed that EB preirradiation‐induced grafting was an effective way to improve the hydrophicility of PP melt‐blown nonwovens. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 天然碱代替纯碱的磷矿选矿试验

经过煅烧的天然碱可以在浮选作业中代替纯碱使用。王集磷矿一、三层混合矿和宁夏贺兰山磷矿使用这种煅烧天然碱,浮选指标均优于原使用纯碱的工艺。该药剂来源广,价格低,可以为企业带来较大的经济效益。

重金属在宽叶香蒲人工湿地系统中的分布与积累

本文通过对广东韶关凡口宽叶香蒲（Typha latifolia)人工湿地系统的进出水口，土壤剖面及四种优势植物体各部分器官中Pb,Zn,Cu和Cd含量进行分析。结果表明；重金属主要库存于土壤中。从水平上看，全量的重金属含量从进水口到出水口呈上升趋势，而有效态则相反；从土壤剖面的垂直分布上看，全量和有效态重金属含量都随土壤深度的增加而递减，四种植物都具有较强的吸收和富集重金属的能力，且主要富集在植物的地下部分。     

Melting,crystallization behaviors,and nonisothermal crystallization kinetics of PET/PTT/PBT ternary blends

The melting, crystallization behaviors, and nonisothermal crystallization kinetics of the ternary blends composed of poly(ethylene terephthalate), poly(trimethylene terephthalate) (PTT) and poly(buthylene terephthalate) (PBT) were studied with differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). PBT content in all ternary blends was settled invariably to be one‐third, which improved the melt‐crystallization temperature of the ternary blends. All of the blend compositions in amorphous state were miscible as evidenced by a single, composition‐dependent glass transition temperature (T_g) observed in DSC curves. DSC melting thermograms of different blends showed different multiple melting and crystallization peaks because of their various polymer contents. During melt‐crystallization process, three components in blends crystallized simultaneously to form mixed crystals or separated crystals depending upon their content ratio. The Avrami equation modified by Jeziorny and the Ozawa theory were employed to describe the nonisothermal crystallization process of two selected ternary blends. The results spoke that the Avrami equation was successful in describing the nonisothermal crystallization process of the ternary blends. The values of the t_1/2 and the parameters Z_c showed that the crystallization rate of the ternary blends with more poly(ethylene terephthalate) content was faster than that with the lesser one at a given cooling rate. The crystal morphology of the five ternary blends investigated by polarized optical microscopy (POM) showed different size and distortional Maltese crosses or light spots when the PTT or poly(ethylene terephthalate) component varied, suggesting that the more the PTT content, the larger crystallites formed in ternary blends. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. MATLAB飞机舱音语音增强、时频分析和GUI设计

舱音记录器中的声信息对失事飞机原因调查十分重要。在分析舱音声信息的特殊性和MATLAB数学软件强大功能和优势基础上,从录制的多个典型舱音中选取其中的"火警警铃"舱音样本为例,设计了MATLAB环境的载入程序,避免了类似于C语言的循环语句等编程复杂等问题,完成舱音信息的时频分析与处理,得到期望的效果。最后在MATLAB图形用户界面(GUI)设计出适合人机对话的操作流程,使得舱音分析过程简单、实用,并在典型舱音分析中得到验证。
