Silica-modified magnetite-polyoxometalates functionalized with sulfamic acid groups as hybrid nanoparticles were prepared by sulfonation of diamine-functionalized propyl group grafted on the magnetic silica-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles. This heterogeneous nanocatalyst was explored to present high catalytic performance for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidinones and tetrahydrobenzo[b]pyrans under mild reaction conditions. The properties of this nanocatalyst were characterized by FT- infrared, energy-dispersive X-ray spectrum, scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence and elemental analysis. Easy separation of the nanocatalyst by using an external magnet, recyclability, non-toxicity, versatility and high stability of the catalyst combined with low reaction times and excellent yields make the present protocol very useful and attractive for the synthesis of the titled products.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Adenocarcinomas and carcinoid tumors are the most common malignant tumors of the small intestine. K-ras oncogene mutations at codon 12 are common in gastric, pancreatic, and colon carcinomas, with an incidence of 35-88%. K-ras mutations have not been extensively studied in either adenocarcinomas or carcinoid tumors of the small bowel. The purpose of this study was to determine whether ras mutations play an important role in the formation of these tumors. METHODS: Archival tissues from 28 adenocarcinomas and 22 carcinoid tumors of the small bowel were studied, along with archival tissues from 32 adenocarcinomas of the large bowel, which were used as controls. DNA from the small intestine tumors was analyzed for K-ras, H-ras, and N-ras oncogene mutations at codons 12, 13, and 61, using polymerase chain reaction and sequence specific oligonucleotide hybridization techniques. Large bowel adenocarcinomas were analyzed for K-ras mutations at codons 12 and 13. RESULTS: A point mutation of K-ras at codon 12 was detected in 4 of 28 (14.3%) of the small bowel adenocarcinomas, in 12 of 32 (37.5%) of the large bowel adenocarcinomas, and in 0 of 22 small intestine carcinoid tumors. No other K-ras, H-ras, or N-ras mutations were detected in any of the small bowel tumors. Each small intestine K-ras mutation was found in a duodenal adenocarcinoma (4 of 12 cases, 33%), whereas none occurred in 16 other jejunal or ileal adenocarcinomas. CONCLUSIONS: K-ras mutations appear to play a significant role in the pathogenesis of duodenal adenocarcinomas, but they do not appear to be important in the development of jejunal or ileal adenocarcinomas or of carcinoid tumors of the small intestine.  相似文献

The present study constitutes an attempt to compare normal traits for palatal height and width at different stages of dentition development of two ethnic groups of the Middle East. The observations were obtained from 346 randomly selected normal subjects, 188 Saudis and 158 Egyptians. The stone models were divided into three categories in both groups--primary, mixed and permanent dentitions. Palatal index values were calculated at two levels. Vernier calipers were used to measure the palatal width. Palatal depth was measured by profile Gauge by Vitrex. The results of this study demonstrate no significant difference between ethnic groups at levels 1 and 2 in relation to the palatal height, width and index. For both groups, palatal index increased significantly from the primary to mixed and permanent dentition at level 1. At level 2, palatal index and height showed decreases in measurement in the mixed dentition compared with the primary and the permanent dentitions. Subjective assessment of the palatal height correlated with palatal index. The casts were then labelled so that the shallow group had the smallest palatal index followed by the normal and the deep group had the largest palatal index. The results contribute to the information available on the development of palatal shape within two Middle Eastern populations. Knowledge of the normal range in shape can act as a baseline for studies of certain oral developmental abnormalities.  相似文献

The present paper presents the main results of the biodegradation study of paper industry wastewater through physico-chemical treatment. Indeed, around 60% of chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal can be achieved by electroflocculation treatment. Furthermore, a removal efficiency of the COD of almost 91% has been obtained by biological treatment, with activated amount of sludge for 24 h of culture. Concerning the physico-chemical pre-treatment of the untreated, filtered and electroflocculated rejection effluents, it has been investigated through the degradation curve of COD studies.  相似文献

The mixed hybrid finite element (MHFE) method is well suited for the resolution of the Darcy’s flow on anisotropic and heterogeneous domains. However, the accuracy of the method can be altered for highly distorted meshes with non-convex quadrangles. Moreover, the standard quadrangular MHFE method can lead to non-physical oscillations for transient simulations since it does not respect the maximum principle.In this work, we derive a new realization of the MHFE method on general convex or non-convex quadrangular elements. Each element is fictitiously divided into triangles. The mass balance and flux law are then discretized over each triangle and aggregated to eliminate interior degrees of freedom at the quadrangular element level. The method is combined with the mass lumping procedure for triangles to improve the monotonicity of the discretization. The material properties as well as the pressure and the divergence of the flux are allowed to vary inside the quadrangular element to better describe heterogeneous domains.The obtained matrix is symmetric and positive definite and has the same stencil than the standard approach. The numerical experiments show the performances of this formulation compared to the standard one for heterogeneous domains and non-convex elements. An example is also provided for transient flow simulations where the unphysical oscillations are avoided with the new approach.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose an efficient transform-based blind audio watermarking technique by introducing a parametric quantization index modulation (QIM). Theoretical expressions for the signal to watermark ratio and probability of error are derived and then used in an optimization technique based on the Lagrange multipliers method to find the optimal values for the parameters of the parametric QIM that ensure the imperceptibility while maximizing the robustness under an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) attack. Moreover, a fast scheme for the implementation of the proposed watermarking technique is developed and an efficient procedure is suggested to find the interval for the best selection of the watermark embedding positions that provide a good trade-off between the effects of high and low pass filtering attacks. The parameters of the resulting optimal parametric QIM coupled with the embedding positions constitute a highly robust secret key for the proposed watermarking technique. We also carry out several experiments to show the usefulness of the theoretical analysis presented in the paper and compare the proposed technique with other existing QIM-based watermarking techniques by considering known attacks such as AWGN, re-quantization, resampling, low/high pass filtering, amplitude scaling and common lossy compressions.

This paper introduces a novel algorithm to synthesize a low-cost reversible circuits for any Boolean function with n inputs represented as a Positive Polarity Reed–Muller expansion. The proposed algorithm applies a predefined rules to reorder the terms in the function to minimize the multi-calculation of common parts of the Boolean function to decrease the quantum cost of the reversible circuit. The paper achieves a decrease in the quantum cost and/or the circuit length, on average, when compared with relevant work in the literature.  相似文献

This paper proposes a method to match diffusion tensor magnetic resonance images (DT-MRIs) through the large deformation diffeomorphic metric mapping of vector fields, focusing on the fiber orientations, considered as unit vector fields on the image volume. We study a suitable action of diffeomorphisms on such vector fields, and provide an extension of the Large Deformation Diffeomorphic Metric Mapping framework to this type of dataset, resulting in optimizing for geodesics on the space of diffeomorphisms connecting two images. Existence of the minimizers under smoothness assumptions on the compared vector fields is proved, and coarse to fine hierarchical strategies are detailed, to reduce both ambiguities and computation load. This is illustrated by numerical experiments on DT-MRI heart images.  相似文献

Network security has become a concern with the rapid growth and expansion of the Internet. While there are several ways to provide security for communications at the application, transport, or network layers, the data link layer security has not yet been adequately addressed. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) are link layer protocols that are essential for network operation. They were designed without any security features. Therefore, they are vulnerable to a number of attacks such as the rogue DHCP server, DHCP starvation, host impersonation, man-in-the-middle, and denial of service attacks. Vulnerabilities in ARP and DHCP threaten the operation of any network. The existing solutions to secure ARP and DHCP could not mitigate DHCP starvation and host impersonation attacks. This work introduces a new solution to secure ARP and DHCP for preventing and mitigating these LAN attacks. The proposed solution provides integrity and authenticity for ARP and DHCP messages. Security properties and performance of the proposed schemes are investigated and compared to other related schemes.  相似文献
