The introduction of an HVDC system into the trunk power supply system requires transmitting as much dc power as possible for improving the whole ac/dc system stability. The continued operation scheme of an HVDC system which makes it possible to operate even under very low commutation bus voltage is adopted to cope with such system requirement. Further stability improvement can be achieved by adding damping control which modulates converter active and/or reactive power. To take full advantage of these control effects, it is essential that the HVDC system can maintain stable operation during the ac system faults and reclosing. Particular attention should be given to a repetitive commutation failure following the unbalanced ac transmission line faults. This paper discusses first the cause of the repetitive commutation failure when supplied with unbalanced ac system voltage based on an experiment using the CRIEPI AC-DC Power System Simulator. Then a stabilization control scheme with an on-line extinction angle estimation is proposed and the effect is verified by digital simulation. 相似文献

This paper presents the results of an eight-month design-of-experiment assessment of whisker growth on bright and matte tin-plated copper, mechanically deformed and unformed coupons, subject to a continuous 50 °C/50%RH environment, with and without the presence of a constant electrical current density magnitude of 0.48 × 102 A/cm2. Whiskers were observed to grow both at the anode and cathode end. The distribution-based data showed a reduction in whisker density due to annealing and/or the application of electrical current for both bright and matte tin. However, the application of electrical current was observed to increase the standard deviation of the length distribution, and to generate longer whiskers. 相似文献

A new microwave switch, the light-activated microwave photoconductive switch consisting of a heterostructure photoconductive switch (HPCS) with a flip-chip bonded vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser is reported. An insertion loss of 0.17 dB at a laser power of 15 mW and an isolation of 25 dB were obtained at 1 GHz. Identification of P wave is essential for the diagnosis of various arrhythmias. The transesophageal ECG is useful for obtaining the relationship of atrial-ventricular activation when P wave is difficult to recognize on the surface ECG. Transesophageal pacing is also helpful to evaluate the function of the conduction system and to clarify the mechanism of arrhythmias. The effect of gravity on materials processing is rather complicated, and a large number of considerably unexpected results due to high gravity or sometimes centrifugation have been reported. The authors have been conducting high gravity diamond thin film growth by the DC-plasma CVD method up to 100 G. The effects of high gravity appeared in the nucleation site density, growth rate, grain size, uniformity, film coverage and morphology. With the increase in gravity, the nucleation site density, growth rate, grain size were all found to be increased, the uniformity and film coverage were improved, and {100} facet became dominant rather than {111} facet. To understand the deposition mechanism in these effects observed in high gravity, a diagnostic apparatus for spectroscopic study of the optical emission from the DC-plasma was developed, and the OES (optical emission spectroscopy) apparatus has been employed in high gravity CVD experiments. The influence of gravity on the most active species in the plasma, such as H, CH, C2 was discussed together with the results from the Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction study. 相似文献
