Pure nanobrookite titania (TiO2) thin films were deposited on glass substrates by the spin-coating method using titanium butoxide and acetic acid. The particle sizes of TiO2 films were controlled by heat treatment temperatures. The activation energy for particle growth was calculated as 23.1 kJ/mol. The structural and optical properties of the nanobrookite TiO2 thin films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy (UV-vis), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR).  相似文献

Transmittance images of wheat kernels are used to classify insect damaged and undamaged wheat kernels. The colour histograms of pixel intensities of the wheat images were used as the feature vectors. Combination of the linear model and a radial basis function network, in a committee, resulted in a false positive rate of 0.1 at the true positive rate of 0.8 and an area under the receiver operating characteristics curve of 0.92.  相似文献

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is the most important staple food crop globally. According to economic survey 2018‐19, agriculture sector of Pakistan grew by 0.85%, with wheat accounting for 8.9% of agriculture and 1.6% of GDP, and its production fell short of the target by 4.9%. Wheat requires beneficial ties to improve its efficiency with the help of modern technology. Nanotechnology modifies conventional agricultural practices as these are stimulating agents for plant growth. Green bimetallic Ag/ZnO alloy nanoparticles (NPs) synthesised from salts reduced by Moringa oleifera and characterised by UV‐visible spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy are studied herein. Different concentrations of urea and Ag/ZnO alloy NPs were applied exogenously to wheat plants (Pakistan‐13 and Galaxy13). A significant effect of 100 mg/L urea and 75 ppm Ag/ZnO alloy NPs was observed on the morphology of wheat, with a maximum increase of 58% plant length, 85% leaf area, 89% plant fresh weight and 76% plant dried weight. In physiological parameters, relative water content and membrane stability index have shown maximum increases of 39% and 77%, while chlorophyll a, b, and total chlorophyll content (TCC) showed maximum increases of 92%, 71%, and 84% respectively. Evidence of the morpho‐physiological responses of urea and green synthesised alloy NPs on wheat varieties are reported on.  相似文献

The mathematical sciences, and particularly probabilistic and statistical methods, are key to understanding the dependencies of the systems. The purpose of this paper is to encourage a wider recognition by engineers of a new generalized principle which in its mathematical form is a powerful instrument for the solution of practical problems. Generalized probability density function was introduced to permit analysis without pre-knowledge of the source of the data. The fundamental principles are extended to apply the most related engineering applications without the need to know the type of source generating the data. The generalized model presented eliminates preliminary work in engineering problems. The proposed model introduces an exponential density function to produce a direct solution to randomly varying data. The exponential density function is fully compatible with applications containing randomly distributed data. The success of the generalized model presented is due to the calculated parameters in the exponential density function. The method is applied to various problems chosen from the field of engineering with great success.  相似文献

Spectral properties and switch behavior of two alkyl thia units bearing Zn (II) phthalocyanine derivatives (Pc-A and Pc-B) were investigated in solvents and in solid matrix of ethyl cellulose by means of absorption and emission spectroscopy. Fluorescence lifetime and fluorescence quantum yield values of the Zn (II) phthalocyanines were calculated. The employed phthalocyanines demonstrated multiple molecular logic gate functions operated by H+ and Ag+ ions as chemical inputs. The silver driven fluorescence modulation of the Pc-A arises from reversible variations in emission signal intensity at 717 nm. The Pc-B exhibited a similar decreasing emission response to proton and silver ions and an accompanying increasing peak yielding an isobestic point at 746 nm upon protonation. The phthalocyanine doped thin films selectively responded to silver ions in sub-nano and/or pico molar levels. Observed detection limits were 7.6 × 10−12 and 2.3 × 10−11 M for Pc-A and Pc-B, respectively. In immobilized phases the attained reversible relative signal changes of Pc-A and Pc-B were 82 and 90%, respectively.  相似文献
