The change of network morphology of unfilled sulfur crosslinked natural rubber exposed to thermal oxidative ageing has been studied. Three model networks with different sulfur contents (efficient network, semi‐efficient and conventional vulcanizate) have been analysed by applying spin probe ESR, equilibrium swelling measurements and mechanical measurements. By combining the density distribution deduced from the complex ESR spectra and the equilibrium swelling density, it is shown that the major network changes occur in the networks with predominantly polysulfidic bonds (conventional network) after 96 h of ageing at 373 K. The effect of ageing on the network with predominantly monosulfidic bonds is much less pronounced. Both effects (main chain scission and additional local crosslinking) have been analysed in the course of prolonged ageing up to 240 h. A correlation between network structure and its mechanical performance is established. © 2000 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

We introduce complex order fractional derivatives in models that describe viscoelastic materials. This cannot be carried out unrestrictedly, and therefore we derive, for the first time, real valued compatibility constraints, as well as physical constraints that lead to acceptable models. As a result, we introduce a new form of complex order fractional derivative. Also, we consider a fractional differential equation with complex derivatives, and study its solvability. Results obtained for stress relaxation and creep are illustrated by several numerical examples.  相似文献

The composition and content of certain bioactive components of the cold pressed oil obtained from six samples of pumpkin seeds (Cucurbita pepo L.) cultivated in Serbia were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The composition and content of fatty acids, tocopherols and phytosterols, and the total content of squalene were determined. The results indicate oil's excellent quality, with high contents of monounsaturated fatty acids (37.1 ± 0.70–43.6 ± 0.69 g/100 g of total fatty acids), total tocopherols (38.03 ± 0.25–64.11 ± 0.07 mg/100 g of oil), sterols (718.1 ± 6.1–897.8 ± 6.8 mg/100 g of oil) and especially squalene (583.2 ± 23.6–747 ± 16 mg/100 g of oil). High content of squalene, phytosterols and monounsaturated fatty acids recommend the use of this type of the oil in the nutritional and medical purposes.  相似文献

The three main structural factors determining the total π-electron energy (E) of a benzenoid hydrocarbon are the number of C atoms (n), number of CC bonds (m) and the Kekulé structure count (K). Nevertheless, the E-values of benzenoid hydrocarbons having the same n, m and K may considerably vary. These variations are studied and found to depend on certain structural features of the perimeter, in particular on the number of bay regions (b). A linear relation between E and b is established, such that E increases with b. Furthermore, the effect of bay regions on E increases with the increasing size of the molecule.  相似文献

Although the ubiquitous distribution of organophosphate esters (OPEs) in the environment has been documented very thoroughly, data on their occurrence in soil is so far sparse. In this study, an analytical method was developed to determine six OPEs in soil. The method consists of a combination of Twisselmann extraction and solid-phase microextraction (SPME), followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). To develop the method, spiked soil was extracted using a Twisselmann extractor after freeze-drying. The extract was evaporated to dryness, redissolved, and filtered. A volume of 7 mL was then analyzed by SPME, followed by GC-MS. The effects of different parameters on analyte recoveries during sample preparation, e.g., solvent for Twisselmann extraction, solvent for redissolving the extract, addition of copper, and filtration of the extract, were systematically investigated. Under optimum conditions, 10 g soil samples were extracted using toluene, and the extract was redissolved in methanol/water (1:14) and filtered. It was not necessary to add copper. For TnBP, TBEP, TCPP, and TCEP, recoveries ranged from 77.0% to 89.6%. Those for TPP and TDCP were much lower, at 31.5% and 42.0%, respectively (addition level 22.9-45.8 ng g(-1)). The variability of recoveries under these conditions was between 0.3 and 16.2% (n = 3). Limits of detection (LOD) were 0.002-3 ng g(-1). When ultrasonication was used in place of Twisselmann extraction in the developed method, recoveries were three to four times lower (27.4% to 30.6%), but the variability of recoveries was below 3% (n = 3). The method was applied to quantify OPEs in soil collected from the university campus in Osnabrueck (Germany). Average concentrations (n = 6) in soil samples ranged from 1.23 ng g(-1) to 4.96 ng g(-1) (dry weight) for TCPP, TPP, and TCEP. The results demonstrate for the first time that atmospheric deposition leads to soil contamination by OPEs.  相似文献
