High-Q evanescent-mode resonators and filters are realized by both silicon micromachining and layer-by-layer polymer processing. Capacitively loaded cavities can be reduced to a size much smaller than a wavelength, but still have a much higher unloaded Q than lumped elements. The loaded resonators are utilized for reduced-size filters with a low insertion loss enabled by the relatively high-Q factor. The small fabrication tolerances of silicon micromachining and polymer stereolithography processing enable the realization of highly loaded evanescent-mode resonators and filters. A 14-GHz resonator micromachined in silicon has a volume of 5 mm /spl times/ 5 mm /spl times/ 0.45 mm, representing a resonant frequency reduction of 66.8% compared to an empty cavity of the same dimensions. The polymer-based fabrication is used to create resonators of different three-dimensional geometries with Q's up to 1940 and frequency reductions up to 49.9%. An insertion loss of 0.83 dB is measured in a 1.69% bandwidth filter created by polymer processing with a frequency reduction of 47% compared to an unloaded cavity. Block matching has been used for motion estimation and motion compensation in the Audio and Video Standard (AVS) for years. While having an acceptable performance in describing motion between frames, it requires quite a few bits to represent the motion vectors. In certain circumstances, the use of global motion estimation and compensation would perform equally well or even better than the block matching in terms of motion accuracy, while it results in the coding of global motion model parameters. In this letter, we modify an AVS coder by adding (1) six global motion model parameters to the frame header, and (2) mode selection among INTRA, SKIP, INTER-16×16, INTER-16×8, INTER-8×16, INTER-8×8, and Global Motion Compensation (GMC) modes by Lagrange optimal rate-distortion criteria. Simulation results demonstrate that over 0.1dB improvement in PSNR is obtained compared to the AVS coder for an average coded P-frame with the same bitrate. 相似文献

Target detection in remote sensing images (RSIs) is a fundamental yet challenging problem faced for remote sensing images analysis. More recently, weakly supervised learning, in which training sets require only binary labels indicating whether an image contains the object or not, has attracted considerable attention owing to its obvious advantages such as alleviating the tedious and time consuming work of human annotation. Inspired by its impressive success in computer vision field, in this paper, we propose a novel and effective framework for weakly supervised target detection in RSIs based on transferred deep features and negative bootstrapping. On one hand, to effectively mine information from RSIs and improve the performance of target detection, we develop a transferred deep model to extract high-level features from RSIs, which can be achieved by pre-training a convolutional neural network model on a large-scale annotated dataset (e.g. ImageNet) and then transferring it to our task by domain-specifically fine-tuning it on RSI datasets. On the other hand, we integrate negative bootstrapping scheme into detector training process to make the detector converge more stably and faster by exploiting the most discriminative training samples. Comprehensive evaluations on three RSI datasets and comparisons with state-of-the-art weakly supervised target detection approaches demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. 相似文献

In this paper, an unsupervised change detection technique for remote sensing images ac-quired on the same geographical area but at different time instances is proposed by conducting Co-variance Intersection (CI) to perform unsupervised fusion of the final fuzzy partition matrices from the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering for the feature space by applying compressed sampling to the given remote sensing images. The proposed approach exploits a CI-based data fusion of the membership function matrices, which are obtained by taking the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering of the fre-quency-domain feature vectors and spatial-domain feature vectors, aimed at enhancing the unsuper-vised change detection performance. Compressed sampling is performed to realize the image local feature sampling, which is a signal acquisition framework based on the revelation that a small collection of linear projections of a sparse signal contains enough information for stable recovery.
