小心“牙渍”必报

人们常用“睚眦必报”来形容那些即使是受了像瞪了自己一眼那样小的仇恨，也要报复的心胸狭窄的人。言下之意，人应该大度，少对一些细枝末节斤斤计较。以此推理。人们认为的“牙痛不是病。就更不应该过多关注了。然而，现代医学的一些研究却表明：牙病看起来是“小毛病”。但危害远远超过牙齿本身。甚至连牙上的“渍”——细菌、牙石等也有可能导致多种疾病。     

永州市抗御"碧利斯"台风的实践与思考

受2006年第四号台风“碧利斯”的影响,永州市出现了持续的强降雨过程,部分地区出现了大暴雨,引发了严重的洪涝灾害,成为近年来影响较为严重的一次台风暴雨。永州市在抗御这次台风暴雨过程中,高度警惕,充分准备,周密部署,科学调度,全力以赴抗灾救灾,将灾害损失降到了最低程度,全市没有垮一库一坝,没有因山洪灾害发生人员伤亡。文章总结了永州市的防灾抗灾经验,并针对防御台风暴雨存在的问题,探讨了进一步减轻台风暴雨灾害损失的对策。     

微波等离子体化学气相沉积的 a-Si∶H 性能研究

本文着重对微波等离子体化学气相沉积法高速沉积的 a-Si∶H 膜的物理性能进行评价研究.测量了沉积膜的光电性能、暗电导激活能、光禁带宽度、光吸收特性、沉积膜中悬键态密度以及氢含量等,并讨论沉积条件对膜性能的影响.结果表明,在沉积速率高达30～90(?)/s 情况下,膜的光电导(光照强度10~5Lux)与暗电导比值可达10~3～10~5,暗电导率从10~(-3)到10~(-11)((?)cm)~(-1),其激活能在0.23～0.88eV 之间(0～200℃温度范围内),光禁带宽度为1.40～2.20eV,氢含量约为2～20%.     

基于FPGA的图像几何矩计算实时实现

在Hatamian数字滤波器算法和改进的数字滤波器算法基础上,文中设计了累加器和累加器栅格的结构,消除了几何矩计算中乘法运算,进一步简化了加法运算量,实现了基于FPGA的几何矩计算实时实现.累加器表的仿真实验表明,该累加器表能够完成图像(256×256)几何矩的实时计算,同时该累加器表也可以用于图像质心的计算.     

Can Robots Manifest Personality?: An Empirical Test of Personality Recognition,Social Responses,and Social Presence in Human–Robot Interaction

Personality is an essential feature for creating socially interactive robots. Studies on this dimension will facilitate enhanced human–robot interaction (HRI). Using AIBO, a social robotic pet developed by Sony, we examined the issue of personality in HRI. In this gender-balanced 2 (AIBO personality: introvert vs. extrovert) by 2 (participant personality: introvert vs. extrovert) between-subject experiment (N = 48), we found that participants could accurately recognize a robot's personality based on its verbal and nonverbal behaviors. In addition, various complementarity attraction effects were found in HRI. Participants enjoyed interacting with a robot more when the robot's personality was complementary to their own personalities than when the robot's personality was similar to their own personalities. The same complementarity attraction effect was found in participants' evaluation of the robot's intelligence and social attraction. Participants' feelings of social presence during the interaction were a significant mediator for the complementarity attraction effects observed. Practical and theoretical implications of the current study for the design of social robots and the study of HRI were discussed.     

变权组合预测模型在大坝安全监测中的应用

简要介绍了组合预测模型的基本原理，该模型改进了单一模型考虑因素的片面性，但常规的组合预测模型的权系数是固定的。考虑到各种模型的预测精度的变化，以及大坝安全监测数据存在的突变、时效等因素，固定权系数的组合预测模型有待进一步改进。文中提出了变权系数组合预测模型，并将其用于实际的大坝安全监测工程。结果表明，变权组合预测模型的预报精度高于其他模型。是一种值得推广的方法。     

防御超强台风的实践与思考

超强台风具有巨大的破坏力,如何防御超强台风并降低其灾害损失是一重大课题。浙江省在防御“桑美”超强台风的实践中认为,要取得防台抗灾的胜利,未雨绸缪、常备不懈是基础,以人为本、有效避险是关键。同时,针对“桑美”登陆后暴露出的各种问题,今后还要从4个方面加强工作,即建立集中与分散相结合的避险体系;加强电力、通信等应急基础保障能力建设;全面建成监测预警体系;加强超强台风研究,进一步完善防台风预案。     

Nd3+ Doped Silicate Glass Photonic Crystal Fiber with Random Hole Distributions

The fabrication of one kind of large core area Nd3 doped silicate glass photonic crystal fiber, and demonstration of the fiber's waveguidence properties were reported. This fiber owns a random air hole distribution in the cladding. The measured minimum loss of this kind of fiber is 10 dB·m-1 at 660 nm. These fibers can sustain only a single mode at least over wavelength ranging from 660 nm to 980 nm.     

Fuzzy control of nitrogen removal in predenitrification process using ORP.

In order to meet increasingly stringent discharge standards, new applications and control strategies for the sustainable removal of nitrogen from wastewater have to be implemented. In the past years, numerous studies have been carried out dealing with the application of fuzzy logic to improve the control of the activated sludge process. In this paper, fuzzy control strategies of predenitrification systems are presented that could lead to better effluent quality and, in parallel, to a reduction of chemicals consumption. Extensive experimental investigations on lab scale plant studies have shown that there was excellent correlation between nitrate concentration and ORP value at the end of the anoxic zone. Results indicated that ORP could be used as an on-line fuzzy control parameter of nitrate recirculation and external carbon addition. The optimal value of ORP to control nitrate recirculation and external carbon addition was - 86 +/- 2 mV and - 90 +/- 2 mV, respectively. The results obtained with real wastewater also showed the good performance and stability of the fuzzy controllers independently from external disturbances. The integrated control structure of nitrate recirculation and external carbon addition in the predenitrification system is also presented.     

Evaluation of accuracy of measuring intraocular pressure by handheld non-contact applanation tonometer

PURPOSE: To evaluate the accuracy of measuring intraocular pressure by handheld non-contact applanation tonometer. METHOD: 58 patients' (113 eyes) intraocular pressure were measured by Keeler, non-contact tonometer and R 900 Goldmann applanation tonometer and the results of measurement of intraocular pressure by the two kinds of tonometers were compared. RESULT: The mean intraocular pressure measured by non-contact is 16.31 +/- 5.59 mmHg and 17.49 +/- 6.13 mmHg (1 mmHg = 0.1333 kPa) by Goldmann applanation tonometer, respectively. There was no statistical significance to be found (P > 0.05) between the two methods. By linear correlation and regression analysis, a positive correlation was found between the two methods (r = 0.8942, b = 0.8154). CONCLUSION: The handheld non-contact tonometer has the same accuracy and reliability of measurement of intraocular pressure comparing with Goldmann applanation tonometer, and it can be used in glaucoma clinic and screening.
