This paper is an attempt to study the behaviour of the inclined, tapered and straight-tapered-straight (STS) concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) stub columns. A total of 34 specimens were tested. The main parameters were the column type (inclined, tapered and STS), inclined or tapered angle (from 0°to 9°) and the cross-sectional type (circular and square). In all-optical networks, monitoring trail (m-trail) has long been proposed as an effective way for link failure localization. Previous works tried to minimize the number of used m-trails for localizing network-wide single link failures, and they all supposed that the monitoring resources were enough. However, failures are rare events and the traffic demand is increasing rapidly. The dedicated wavelengths for m-trails cannot be used to transmit data traffic, and some traffic demand may not be served during the peak period. Considering the operators prefer to serve customers’ demand as much as possible, if the resources allocated for m-trails are limited, more traffic will be carried. In this paper, we focus on the scenario where there are not enough resources for allocating m-trails. In this scenario, as only part of single link failures can be unambiguously localized, we aim to monitor the most valuable links, which carry more traffic demand, and minimize the maximum number of used wavelengths for traffic demand on the links which cannot be unambiguously localized. As we can also control the wavelength routing for traffic demand, we try to jointly optimize the m-trail allocation and wavelength routing. We first formulate this joint optimization problem as a mathematical model and present concrete analyses on this model. According to these analyses, a joint m-trail allocation and wavelength routing (JMAWR) heuristic algorithm is proposed based on graph-constrained group testing. Simulation results show that JMAWR outperforms the state-of-the-art m-trail allocation algorithm by up to 88.46% improvement in terms of maximum number of used wavelengths for traffic demand on links which cannot be unambiguously localized. 相似文献

Hydrogen-bond organic frameworks (HOFs) with excellent structural and luminescent properties have emerged as a promising material for the construction of fluorescence sensors. However, designing a facile, universal and high throughput sensor with multiplex detection capacity still remains challenging. Herein, a one-component sensor array is constructed that mimics natural gustatory system for accurate and high-throughput discrimination and identification of versatile analytes. HOF as a single sensing element greatly simplifies the probe preparation in sensor array and detection procedure. Metal ions, proteins and bacteria as the model targets are rapid and accurately discriminated, presenting the universality of the system. Particularly, the system is successfully used for the classification of antibiotic mechanisms. Sink scheduling, in the form of scheduling multiple sinks among the available sink sites to relieve the level of traffic burden, is shown to be a promising scheme in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). However, the problem of maximizing the network lifetime via sink scheduling remains quite a challenge since routing issues are tightly coupled. Previous approaches on this topic either suffer from poor performance due to a lack of joint considerations, or are based on relaxed constraints. Therefore, in this paper, we aim to fill in the research blanks. First, we develop a novel notation Placement Pattern (PP) to bound time-varying routes with the placement of sinks. This bounding technique transforms the problem from time domain into pattern domain, and thus, significantly decreases the problem complexity. Then, we formulate this optimization in a pattern-based way and create an efficient Column Generation (CG) based approach to solve it. Simulations not only demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm but also substantiate the importance of sink mobility for energy-constrained WSNs. 相似文献
