A study on UV-curable coatings for HD-DVD: Primer and top coats

This study relates to the development of coatings for optical discs in high-density digital versatile disc systems (HD-DVD or blue lay disk) that use a high numerical aperture of 0.85 at 405 nm wavelength and have a protective top layer over a primer layer for protection against damage and dust. Ultraviolet-curable raw materials of two acrylic monofunctional monomers ( isobornylacrylate, IBA and tetrahydrofurfurylacrylate, THFA) and two kinds of urethaneacrylate oligomers (OUMD and OUME) have been easily mixed with photoinitiators. Curing rate of these materials was characterized by FT-IR. In case of top coats, VTES (vinyltriethoxysilane) and acrylic acid were added to enhance the abrasion resistance. These two kinds of UV-curable resinous materials having no solvent were synthesized and investigated as means for making a blue ray disk having good optical and mechanical properties. In addition, dynamic characteristics including reflectivity, fluctuation of RF signal and noise level were also investigated.

Reduction kinetics of Fe<Subscript>2</Subscript>MoO<Subscript>4</Subscript> fine powder by hydrogen in a fluidized bed

Iron molybdate (Fe₂MoO₄) powders with an average particle size of 100 μm were reduced by hydrogen using a fluidized-bed batch reactor in the temperature range of 923 to 1173 K. The extent of the reaction was followed as a function of time by gas chromatography. The fluidizing-gas velocity was set at about 1.5 times the minimum fluidization velocity. The ratio of the height of the static bed to its diameter is about 1. Under the prevailing experimental conditions, it was found that the chemical reaction was the rate-controlling factor. The activation energy for this process was 158±17 kJ/mol. The crystal size of the Fe₂Mo powder produced at lower temperatures was in the nanometer range, indicating the possibility of mass production of alloys and intermetallics in the nanorange, using a fluidized bed.

基于COM/DCOM技术的电信网络管理

本通过对TMN(电信管理网)思想以及COM／DCOM编程原理的分析，将COM／DCOM的功能特点与TMN电信网络管理的基本要求有机地结合在一起，提出了运用COM／DCOM技术建立TMN的基本设想，其原理是，将电信网的各种网元抽象为COM组件对象，组件对象实时反映所对应网元的各种特征数据，运用DCOM通信机制对这些组件对象及其特征数据进行监控管理，从而达到管理网元之目的。COM／DCOM的面向对象及分布式属性、操作系统和平台无关性、它的事件通知功能、高效的通信机制及其网络安全技术，均符合电信管理网络的功能要求。     

华北油田隐蔽油藏勘探实践与认识

随着勘探的不断深入,华北油田富油凹陷构造油藏的勘探程度越来越高,勘探对象日趋复杂,勘探难度越来越大。面临勘探现状,华北油田认真分析勘探形势,立足资源基础,解放思想,积极转变勘探观念,有意识地加强隐蔽油气藏的深入研究与勘探,先后在冀中坳陷的饶阳凹陷、二连盆地的巴音都兰凹陷、乌里雅斯太凹陷等发现了多个规模富集的隐蔽油藏。通过隐蔽油藏的勘探实践,取得了四点主要认识、六点重要启示,对今后深化华北油田隐蔽油藏的勘探具有重要的指导作用。     

一种用于卫星电视接收的FZP天线

本文用物理光学法对ＦＺＰ反射器的聚焦场、聚焦效率及偏轴扫描特性等进行初步分析，并由此提出一种使用ＦＺＰ天线实现多颗卫星信号同时接收的技术方案。原理性样机实际接收结果证实了其可行性     

Cloning and expression analysis of a novel salicylate suppressible gene, Hs-CUL-3, a member of cullin/Cdc53 family

By using a mRNA differential display technique to search for salicylate suppressible genes, we identified a cDNA in human foreskin fibroblasts, which by GenBankTM DNA data base search shows sequence homology to the recently reported cullin/Cdc53 (CUL) family genes, especially CUL-3. We have cloned the full-length human CUL-3 (Hs-CUL-3) cDNA. It encodes a 768-amino acid polypeptide and has a predicted molecular weight of 88,939. The amino acid sequence of Hs-CUL-3 shows 46% homology to that of its Caenorhabditis elegans ortholog, Ce-CUL-3, and 27 and 23% to that of Hs-CUL-1 and Hs-CUL-2, respectively. Northern blot analysis showed that phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate increased the expression of Hs-CUL-3 mRNA in a concentration- and time-dependent manner, and this increase was inhibited by sodium salicylate. Hs-CUL-3 widely expressed in human tissues and its expression in cultured COLO205 colon cancer cells was increased when compared with that in normal colon cells. It is likely that Hs-CUL-3 is involved in cell proliferation control.
