This paper presents a theoretical investigation of power reflection and transmission coefficients for a meander‐line polarizer placed periodically on a chiral slab. It is assumed that a linearly polarized transverse magnetic wave is incident on a chiral slab from the air region. In the analysis, we derive the electric and magnetic fields in the modal form in the air and chiral regions. We obtain power reflection and transmission coefficients in a straightforward manner after matching the tangential components of the electric and magnetic fields at the boundaries. We present numerical results for the power reflection and transmission coefficients versus frequency and incident angle for different values of the chirality admittance. A meander‐line polarizer placed on a dielectric slab can convert a linearly polarized wave to a circularly polarized wave. The design parameters for a meander‐line polarizer are the dimensions of the meander‐line and the values of the dielectric slab. Replacing a dielectric slab with a chiral slab introduces a new independent parameter which controls the wave polarization. 相似文献
Low‐melting liquid metal is a hugely promising material for flexible conductive patterns due to its excellent conductivity and supercompliance, especially low‐cost and environmental liquid processing technology. However, the ever‐present fluidity characteristic greatly limits the stable shape and reliability of prepared liquid metal conductive electronics. Herein, a novel solidification strategy of liquid GaIn alloys by Ni doping and heat treatment is first reported, which can efficiently create a solid phase in the liquid metal and provide an effective solution for practical applications. Particularly, the liquid characteristic is preserved for conveniently fabricating different flexible electronic circuits, and then the solidification is carried out on prepared conductive patterns by heat treatment. The solidification mechanism is revealed by the interface chemical reaction between Ni and GaIn, creating the solid phase of intermetallic compound (Ga4Ni3 and InNi3) during heat treatment. Moreover, a biphasic GaInNi can be obtained by regulating the atomic ratio of gallium, indium, and nickel. As a result, the obtained GaInNi possesses extremely low sheet resistance (15 ± 4.5 to 135 ± 2.5 mΩ sq?1) and the variation of ΔR/R0 exhibits low level (0–2) when strained up to 100%, which offers a promising strategy to prepare stretchable and reliable liquid metal electronics. 相似文献

A rigorous analytical representation for the multiple scattering coefficients of the fields radiated by an infinite grating of dielectric circular cylinders excited by an obliquely incident plane electromagnetic wave is derived in terms of the “well-known scattering coefficients of an isolated dielectric cylinder at oblique incidence” and “Schlömilch series”. In addition, a generalized sum-integral grating equation is acquired for the multiple scattered amplitude of a cylinder at oblique incidence in the grating in terms of the scattering coefficients of the insulating dielectric circular cylinder at oblique incidence. 相似文献
Unmanned aerial vehicles have been widely used in many areas of life. They communicate with each other or infrastructure to provide ubiquitous coverage or assist cellular and sensor networks. They construct flying ad hoc networks. One of the most significant problems in such networks is communication among them over a shared medium. Using random channel access techniques is a useful solution. Another important problem is that the variations in the density of these networks impact the quality of service and introduce many challenges. This paper presents a novel density-aware technique for flying ad hoc networks. We propose Density-aware Slotted ALOHA Protocol that utilizes slotted ALOHA with a dynamic random access probability determined using network density in a distributed fashion. Compared to the literature, this paper concentrates on proposing a three-dimensional, easily traceable model and stabilize the channel utilization performance of slotted ALOHA with an optimized channel access probability to its maximum theoretical level, 1/e, where e is the Euler’s number. Monte-Carlo simulation results validate the proposed approach leveraging aggregate interference density estimator under the simple path-loss model. We compare our protocol with two existing protocols, which are Slotted ALOHA and Stabilized Slotted ALOHA. Comparison results show that the proposed protocol has 36.78% channel utilization performance; on the other hand, the other protocols have 24.74% and 30.32% channel utilization performances, respectively. Considering the stable results and accuracy, this model is practicable in highly dynamic networks even if the network is sparse or dense under higher mobility and reasonable non-uniform deployments.
Electron irradiation of the Au/n-Si/Al Schottky diode was performed by using 6 MeV electrons and 3 × 1012 e−/cm2 fluency. The current-voltage (I-V), capacitance-voltage (C-V) and capacitance-frequency (C-f) characteristics of the unirradiated and irradiated Schottky diode were analyzed. It was seen that the values of the barrier height, the series resistance, and the ideality factor increased after electron irradiation. However, there was a decrease in the leakage current with electron irradiation. The increase in the barrier height and in the series resistance values was attributed to the dopant deactivation in the near-interface region. The interface states, Nss, have been decreased significantly after electron irradiation. This was attributed to the decrease in recombination centre and the existence of an interfacial layer. A decrease in the capacitance was observed after electron irradiation. This was attributed to decrease in the net ionized dopant concentration with electron irradiation. 相似文献
A simple new circuit realising negative immittances using a single commercially available CFOA is presented. The simulated immittance values can orthogonally be adjusted and all passive sensitivities are no more than unity. For the circuit the phase angle of the realised immittances are independent of the three CFOA non-idealities and the circuit allows easy compensation for these active errors. 相似文献
