Preparation of Metal-Coated Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites and Their Electromagnetic Properties

Medium temperature curing by infrared radiation was used to prepare electromagnetic wave absorbing multilayered plastic matrix composite materials containing metal-coated carbon fibers (MCFs). The electromagnetic properties of the materials were investigated by frequency scanning tests with microwave vector network analyzer. It is found that the electromagnetic parameters, mainly permittivity of the composites increase significantly with the addition of MCFs, which gives the composites good designability as thin, light-weight EM wave absorbers. It is also shown that MCFs can improve on the EM wave energy attenuating property of the composites by widening the work frequency band width and raising the absorptive peak     

Three-phase induction motor operating from single-phase supply with an electronically controlled capacitor

In this paper the performance of a three-phase induction motor operating from single-phase supply with a new electronically controlled capacitor using an electronic switch in series with a fixed capacitor to achieve a minimum unbalance of the motor phase voltages at all loading conditions is proposed. No mechanical or centrifugal switch is used here. Basic system operation, theoretical analysis, simulated and experimental results in comparison with conventional operation using one and two fixed capacitors are presented in this paper. The optimum effective capacitor value can be on-line adjusted at any operating speed by periodically changing the duty cycle of the controlled switch to achieve minimum unbalance in phase voltages to improve the motor performance at different speeds.     

Effect of heat treatments on tensile properties and microstructures of wrought Mg−Zn−Zr-RE alloys

The effect of heat treatments on the tensile properties and microstructures of wrought Mg–Zn–Zr-Rare earth alloys MB25 and MB26 have been studied in this paper. It was shown that the homogenization of the cast ingots decreased the strength of the extruded bars because some grain boundary phases were dissolved during the process of this treatment, while the ageing treatment of the extruded bars increased the strength due to the dispersive precipitation of MgZn₂ phase. The quenching + ageing treatments of the extruded bars decreases the strength and plasticity because of the growing up of the grains.Abbreviations ED electron diffraction - GB grain boundary - RE rare earth - TEM transmission electron microscope     

应用10mm薄板铸锭制备的NdFeB烧结磁体

NdFeB薄板铸锭具有晶粒细，富钕相分布均匀及在稀土含量较低时可以防止α－Fe相出现的特点，是一种适合制备高性能烧磁体的合金铸锭，本文介绍了一种用10mm薄板铸锭和球磨制粉方法制备烧结磁体的工艺，在设备要求较低的情况下制备得到了Br=1.37T,(BH)max=320kJ/m^3(40MGOe)的烧结磁体，同时比较了使用常规铸锭和常规工艺的结果，强调了氢爆法在该工艺中的重要作用，最后对该工艺的改进方向和10mm铸锭的应用前景进行了阐述。

WO3/CeO2/YSZ nanocomposite as a potential catalyst for methanol reforming

A WO₃/CeO₂/YSZ nanocomposite material [W/Zr nominal atomic ratio = 0.025, Ce/Zr nominal atomic ratio = 0.020] was prepared by wet impregnation and characterized by means of X-ray photoelectron and diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopic techniques, X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis.Both tungsten and cerium oxides are significantly reduced at the interface with YSZ: Ce(III), in particular, seems to be the prevailing species.The interaction of the WO₃/CeO₂/YSZ nanopowder with pyridine and CO₂ allowed to investigate the acidic/basic sites. Weak contributions at 1602, 1625 and 1647 cm⁻¹ suggest the presence of Lewis and Brønsted acidic sites, whereas basic sites are not evidenced by the interaction with carbon dioxide. The presence of tungsten oxide causes the decrement of the acidic/basic sites, as indicated by the comparison with the results obtained on the CeO₂/YSZ support. Consistently, the interaction with methanol is mainly molecular.The oxidation of methanol was investigated both in the absence and in the presence of water. In the last case carbon dioxide starts forming from room temperature.     

ZT3钛合金标准物质均匀性的检验

本文采用方差分析法和平均值一致性检验法来检验钛合金标准物质的均匀性,通过铝和硅两个元素的计算,证明该标准物质均匀度良好,数理统计在分析化学中逐步在应用,这将为今后标准物质的研制开辟新的途径。     

快速凝固Al—Li—Mg—Zr合金粉末粒度对组织和性能影响

研究超音雾化快速凝固Al—Li—Mg—Zr合金粉末粒度对组织和性能的影响中发现,粉末粒度越细,组织越细,合金强度越大;但粒度太细,又会导致塑性变差。试验合金粒度范围选用40—100μm为佳。
