A new disturbance detection and classification technique based on modified Adaline and adaptive neuro-fuzzy information system (ANFIS) is proposed for a distributed generation system comprising a wind power generating system (DFIG) and a photovoltaic array. The proposed technique is based on a fast Gauss–Newton parameter updating rule rather than the conventional Widrow–Hoff delta rule for the Adaline network. The voltage and current signals near the target distributed generation (DG), particularly the DFIG, whose speed varies from minimum to the maximum cut-off speed, are processed through the modified Adaline network to yield the features like the negative sequence power, harmonic amplification factor (HAF), total harmonic distortion (THD), etc. These features are then used as training sets for the ANFIS, which employs a gradient descent algorithm to update its parameters. The proposed technique distinguishes the islanding condition of the distributed generation system with some other disturbances, such as switching faults, capacitor bank switching, voltage swell, voltage sag, distorted grid voltage, unbalanced load switching, etc. which are referred to as non-islanding cases in this paper.  相似文献

This paper presents a dielectric material selection methodology for RF-MEMS switch used for radio frequency applications. Here Ashby’s material selection approach is used to optimize the performance indices of RF-MEMS switch such as dielectric charging, stability, hold down voltage and RF performance. In this work, dielectric constant (ɛ r), electrical resistivity (ρ), thermal conductivity (λ), thermal expansion coefficient (α), Young’s Modulus (E) are chosen as material indices of dielectric layer in RF-MEMS switch to evaluate the various performance indices. The Ashby’s material selection charts shows that Al2O3 and SiN are the best suitable material for dielectric layer in RF-MEMS switches to exhibit improved performance for radio frequency applications.

The Lanthanum-doped bismuth ferrite–lead titanate compositions of 0.5(Bi LaxFe1-xO3)–0.5(Pb Ti O3)(x = 0.05,0.10,0.15,0.20)(BLxF1-x-PT) were prepared by mixed oxide method.Structural characterization was performed by X-ray diffraction and shows a tetragonal structure at room temperature.The lattice parameter c/a ratio decreases with increasing of La(x = 0.05–0.20) concentration of the composites.The effect of charge carrier/ion hopping mechanism,conductivity,relaxation process and impedance parameters was studied using an impedance analyzer in a wide frequency range(102–106Hz) at different temperatures.The nature of Nyquist plot confirms the presence of bulk effects only,and non-Debye type of relaxation processes occurs in the composites.The electrical modulus exhibits an important role of the hopping mechanism in the electrical transport process of the materials.The ac conductivity and dc conductivity of the materials were studied,and the activation energy found to be 0.81,0.77,0.76 and 0.74 e V for all compositions of x = 0.05–0.20 at different temperatures(200–300 °C).  相似文献

This paper deals with hygrothermal effects on the nonlinear vibration and dynamic response of shear deformable laminated plates. The temperature field considered is assumed to be a uniform distribution over the plate surface and through the plate thickness. The material properties of the composite are affected by the variation of temperature and moisture, and based on a micro-mechanical model. The formulations are based on higher-order shear deformation plate theory and general von Kármán-type equation of motion, which includes hygrothermal effects. The equations of motion are solved by an improved perturbation technique to determine nonlinear frequencies and dynamic responses of shear deformable antisymmetric angle-ply and unsymmetric cross-ply laminated plates. The numerical illustrations concern the nonlinear vibration and dynamic response of the shear deformable laminated plates under different sets of hygrothermal environmental conditions. Effects of temperature rise, the degree of moisture concentration, and fiber volume fraction on natural frequencies, nonlinear to linear frequency ratios and dynamic responses are studied.  相似文献

High-performance concrete mixes containing various proportions of natural pozzolan and silica fume (up to 15% by weight of cement) were prepared and stored in sodium and magnesium sulfate solutions, in Dead Sea and Red Sea waters. The progressive deterioration and the relative sulfate resistance of these mixes were evaluated through visual observations, ultrasonic pulse velocity measurements, and relative strength determinations. The investigation indicated that the concrete mix containing 15% natural pozzolan, and 15% silica fume showed the best protection in sulfates solutions and sea waters. It retained more than 65% of its strength after one year of storage in sulfates solutions and sea waters. The superior resistance of that mix against sulfate attack is attributed to the pore refinement process and further densification of the transition zone occurring due to the conversion of lime forming from the hydration of cement into additional binding material through lime-pozzolan reaction. This investigation recommends the use of silica fume in combination with natural pozzolan for better performance in severe sulfate environments.  相似文献

Waste plastic oil derived from kaoline catalyzed pyrolysis of waste polypropylene is blended with diesel fuel, tested as an alternative fuel in a diesel engine, and its performance characteristics are analyzed and compared with diesel fuel operation. It is observed that the engine could operate with maximum 50% waste plastic oil blended diesel. An engine showed better performance up to 30% blend, but beyond 50% blend it gave a vibration. The results showed a stable performance with brake thermal efficiency similar to that of diesel and its value is higher up to 80% of full load. All emissions are considerably higher than that of the diesel baseline especially at high load and blend.  相似文献

Extraction of edge, shade and mixed ranges are the first stage in the process of image understanding. This paper highlights the difficulties for a mobile robot to find out these features from a video stream of images transmitted from the robot. As the robot moves through the uneven lighting condition in its surrounding, the image quality differs from point to point. The paper proposes a recursive formulation of fuzzy Gaussian filter, by varying its parameters, i.e., window size and value to get the dominant features of the online video images. The method has been implemented on a client machine for the video images transmitted by the mobile robot Pioneer DX-2. The result shows that the method is suitable for the online images taken in varying lighting conditions.  相似文献
