Non-equilibrium effects on electronic transport in organic field effect transistors

Non-ideal behavior in organic field effect transistors, in particular threshold voltage drift and light sensitivity, is argued to be due to intrinsic carrier dynamics. The discussion is based on the theory for hopping transport within a Gaussian density of states. Carrier concentration is shown to be of fundamental importance, and the time required to reach equilibrium at different bias is responsible for device behavior, with implications for mobility evaluation. Experimental results from various conjugated polymers in a field effect transistor illustrate the theory.     

Experimental Study on Energy Consumption of Combined Conventional and Dehumidification Drying

Conventional drying, dehumidification drying, and combined conventional-dehumidification drying of wood were experimentally studied in this article. The results showed that the energy consumption in the dehumidification drying is the least but its drying time is the longest. The energy consumption in the combined drying is more than that in the dehumidification drying but less than that in the conventional drying, and the drying time is half of that in the dehumidification drying. The advantages of the combined conventional and dehumidification drying are discussed from the experiments results.     

Effect of Magnetic Interaction on Thermally Activated Reversal in a Magnet With a Distribution of Energy Barriers

The time dependence of magnetization is usually expressed as M(t)=M₀-SInt [see Proc. Phys. Soc. 62, 562 (1949)] for magnetic viscosity experiments. Considering magnetic interaction during the thermal activation process, a form as M(t)=M₀-SIn(t+t₀) is deduced. The dipolar interaction and exchange coupling in a magnet can lead to positive and nonpositive t₀, respectively. In the experiments of the magnetic viscosity for nanocrystalline Pr₂Fe₁₄B ribbons, the existence of positive t₀ is confirmed.     

Interpretation of the morphology and crystallography of precipitate γ1-Ti4Nb3Al9 in L10-TiAl(Nb)-based intermetallics by invariant line theory

The coherent precipitate γ₁-Ti₄Nb₃Al₉ in the Nb-modified TiAl-based intermetallic compound with a nominal composition of Ti–48 at% Al–10 at% Nb was investigated by transmission electron microscopy. The crystallographic and morphologic characteristics of the precipitating phase have been calculated based on invariant line theory. It is revealed that in the γ-TiAl(Nb)/γ₁-Ti₄Nb₃Al₉ couples, both the morphological and crystallographical characteristics of the precipitate γ₁-Ti₄Nb₃Al₉ could be predicted by the three-dimensional phase transformation invariant line model. The needle direction of [001] at the early stage for coherent precipitate γ₁-Ti₄Nb₃Al₉ and [111] for equilibrium phase γ₁-Ti₄Nb₃Al₉ have both been explained well. The characterization of morphology and crystallography of the precipitate reaction in γ-TiAl/γ₁-Ti₄Nb₃Al₉ system sustain the postulate that precipitates are bounded by unrotated planes (eigenplanes) when three real eigenvalues exist.

抗几何失真的视频Hashing算法研究

文中提出了一种基于视频灰度直方图形状的Hashing算法,能有效抵抗各种常见的几何失真和视频处理操作.算法的鲁棒性原理如下:1)由于直方图的形状与像素位置无关,故基于直方图的视频Hashing算法能有效抵抗各种常见的几何攻击;2)由于在计算Hashing前对视频帧进行了平滑预处理,故算法对加噪攻击、模糊滤波、有损压缩等处理操作有很好的鲁棒性;3)由于计算Hashing前在时间轴上进行了低通滤波预处理,故算法能抵抗帧率变化、帧丢失等时域同步攻击.实验结果表明,所提出的Hashing算法有良好的唯一性和鲁棒性能.
