In modern small compact combustion chambers of diesel engines with high speed injection spray, the wall impaction of spray is encountered. A number of combustion systems have been developed which deliberately employ wall impaction as a means of breaking up the fuel spray and/or directing it in a desired direction. As a link of this, in a further type of geometry, which has been presented by Park et al. cut-off pips were provided for a number of sprays directed not only straight down into combustion chamber centre but also across and down into the bowl in the normal radial direction. The sizes of the pips and their positions were tested for axisymmetrical shape, and their results were analyzed. The further type was simulated in here by using 3D non-orthogonal spray engine code. The simulation results show that the further type is much better than general conventional shapes, i.e. well mixing of fuel vapour and spray high qualified droplet atomization, etc. Thus the improvement of the engine performance is expected by the shaped engine.  相似文献

Low temperature aqueous synthesis (LTAS) has been applied to the preparation of La or Nb-doped (Ba,Sr)TiO3 powders. Doping elements have been mixed to precursors, in order to directly obtain crystalline powders with modified composition. Similar powders, doped by conventional wet ball-milling process, have been also prepared for comparison. Ceramic samples have been obtained by isothermal sintering in air at different temperatures. Microstructural characterisation showed the presence of a secondary phase, identified as a Ti-rich barium titanate compound. Impedance spectroscopy (IS) has been used to study the PTCR behaviour of such materials. IS results are analysed, taking into account effect of the secondary phase, to discuss bulk and grain boundary characteristics.  相似文献

Cardiovascular diseases (CDs) are a major concern in the human race and one of the leading causes of death worldwide. β-Adrenergic receptors (β1-AR and β2-AR) play a crucial role in the overall regulation of cardiac function. In the present study, structure-based virtual screening, machine learning (ML), and a ligand-based similarity search were conducted for the PubChem database against both β1- and β2-AR. Initially, all docked molecules were screened using the threshold binding energy value. Molecules with a better binding affinity were further used for segregation as active and inactive through ML. The pharmacokinetic assessment was carried out on molecules retained in the above step. Further, similarity searching of the ChEMBL and DrugBank databases was performed. From detailed analysis of the above data, four compounds for each of β1- and β2-AR were found to be promising in nature. A number of critical ligand-binding amino acids formed potential hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions. Finally, a molecular dynamics (MD) simulation study of each molecule bound with the respective target was performed. A number of parameters obtained from the MD simulation trajectories were calculated and substantiated the stability between the protein-ligand complex. Hence, it can be postulated that the final molecules might be crucial for CDs subjected to experimental validation.  相似文献

Seaweed extracts are considered effective therapeutic alternatives to synthetic anticancer, antioxidant, and antimicrobial agents, owing to their availability, low cost, greater efficacy, eco-friendliness, and non-toxic nature. Since the bioactive constituents of seaweed, in particular, phytosterols, possess plenty of medicinal benefits over other conventional pharmaceutical agents, they have been extensively evaluated for many years. Fortunately, recent advances in phytosterol-based research have begun to unravel the evidence concerning these important processes and to endow the field with the understanding and identification of the potential contributions of seaweed-steroidal molecules that can be used as chemotherapeutic drugs. Despite the myriad of research interests in phytosterols, there is an immense need to fill the void with an up-to-date literature survey elucidating their biosynthesis, pharmacological effects, and other biomedical applications. Hence, in the present review, we summarize studies dealing with several types of seaweed to provide a comprehensive overview of the structural determination of several phytosterol molecules, their properties, biosynthetic pathways, and mechanisms of action, along with their health benefits, which could significantly contribute to the development of novel drugs and functional foods.  相似文献

The phase transformation behaviors during continuous cooling of low-carbon boron steels with different vanadium contents were studied by means of dilatometric measurement and microstructure observation. The bainite transformation behavior is not noticeably altered when the vanadium content is 0.042 and 0.086 wt%, and these steels exhibit full bainitic microstructure even at a cooling rate of 5 °C/s. When vanadium content is increased to 0.18 wt%,ferrite is still present in the microstructure even at a cooling rate of 40 °C/s. Vickers hardness of the steels with 0.042 and0.086 wt% V is remarkably higher than that of the steel with 0.18 wt% V at a cooling rate higher than 10 °C/s, and the difference is increased with the increase in cooling rate. Moreover, the amount of coarse vanadium precipitates formed in austenite is increased with the increase in vanadium content. The optimum content of vanadium to obtain bainitic microstructure is 0.086 wt% in this experimental low-carbon boron steels.  相似文献

Peroxisome abundance is regulated by homeostasis between the peroxisomal biogenesis and degradation processes. Peroxin 16 (PEX16) is a peroxisomal protein involved in trafficking membrane proteins for de novo peroxisome biogenesis. The present study demonstrates that PEX16 also modulates peroxisome abundance through pexophagic degradation. PEX16 knockdown in human retinal pigment epithelial-1 cells decreased peroxisome abundance and function, represented by reductions in the expression of peroxisome membrane protein ABCD3 and the levels of cholesterol and plasmalogens, respectively. The activation of pexophagy under PEX16 knockdown was shown by (i) abrogated peroxisome loss under PEX16 knockdown in autophagy-deficient ATG5 knockout cell lines, and (ii) increased autophagy flux and co-localization of p62—an autophagy adaptor protein—with ABCD3 in the presence of the autophagy inhibitor chloroquine. However, the levels of cholesterol and plasmalogens did not recover despite the restoration of peroxisome abundance following chloroquine treatment. Thus, PEX16 is indispensable for maintaining peroxisome homeostasis by regulating not only the commonly known biogenesis pathway but also the autophagic degradation of peroxisomes.  相似文献

用神经网络技术对刚性Jeffcott转子-轴承系统进行混沌滞延反馈控制研究。研究结果表明,当转子-轴承系统进入混沌状态后,引入时间滞延反馈控制信号,可以消除转子-轴承系统的混沌振动,使嵌入在混沌吸引子中的不稳定周期轨道回到稳定周期轨道上。采用间接误差计算的BP神经网络学习方法和自适应学习率BP算法结合而形成的改进型BP神经网络方法,可以快速搜寻到次优化的滞延反馈控制强度,从而即时有效地消除转子-轴承系统的混沌振动。一旦混沌振动回归稳态周期振动,则反馈控制信号自动消失。该方法为控制转子-轴承系统的振动状态提供了理论依据,特别是对工程实际转子系统有实用价值。  相似文献

Vacuum pressure impregnation has been known as the most advanced impregnation technology that has ever been developed for large and medium high‐voltage electric machines and apparatuses. We developed one new type of vacuum‐pressure‐impregnation resin with excellent properties by means of a novel approach based on in situ sequential interpenetrating polymer networks resulting from the curing of trimethacrylate monomer [trimethylol‐1,1,1‐propane trimethacrylate (TMPTMA)] and cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (CER). In this study, the influence of the concentrations of the components and their microstructures on their thermal and dielectric behaviors were investigated for the cured CER/TMPTMA systems via atomic force microscopy, dynamic mechanical analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and dielectric analysis. The investigation results show that the addition of TMPTMA to the CER–anhydride system resulted in the formation of a uniform and compact microstructure in the cured epoxy system. This led the cured CER/TMPTMA systems to show much higher moduli in comparison with the pure CER–anhydride system. The thermogravimetric analysis results show that there existed a decreasing tendency in the maximum thermal decomposition rates of the cured CER/TMPTMA systems, which implies that the thermal stability properties improved to some extent. The dielectric analysis results show that the cured CER/TMPTMA systems displayed quite different dielectric behaviors in the wide frequency range 0.01 Hz–1 MHz and in the wide temperature range 27–250°C compared with the cured CER–anhydride system. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) is highly expressed on the ocular epithelium and plays a pivotal role in the fluid secretion driven by chloride transport. Dry eye disease is one of the most common diseases with limited therapeutic options. In this study, a high-throughput screening was performed to identify novel CFTR activators capable of inducing chloride secretion on the ocular surface. The screening of 50,000 small molecules revealed three novel CFTR activators. Among them, the most potent CFTR activator, Cact-3 (7-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-N-(4-ethoxyphenyl)pyrazolo [1,5-α]pyrimidine-2-carboxamide), produced large and sustained Cl currents in WT-CFTR-expressing FRT cells with no alterations of ANO1 and hERG channel activity. The application of Cact-3 strongly activated CFTR in the ocular epithelia of mice and it also significantly increased CFTR-mediated Cl transport in a primary cultured human conjunctival epithelium. Cact-3 strongly stimulated tear secretion in normal mice. In addition, Cact-3 significantly reduced ocular surface damage and the expression of proinflammatory factors, including interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, and interferon (IFN)-γ in an experimental mouse model of dry eye disease. These results suggest that Cact-3, a novel CFTR activator, may be a potential development candidate for the treatment of dry eye disease.  相似文献
