In this paper, a novel bandwidth-enhanced ultra-wideband (UWB) tapered slot antenna with Y-shaped corrugated edges, is proposed. In the double-slot structure, the two slots are separated by a V-shaped metal surface with straight edges, which is beneficial to improve the directivity of the antenna. Meanwhile, an exponential Y-shaped corrugated edge is designed. This novel corrugated edge can not only improve the impedance bandwidth, but also enhance the gain of the antenna. Additionally, according to the theory of microwave network, this paper analyzes the reason of bandwidth enhancement realized by double-slot structure. The proposed antenna provides 167% fractional bandwidth from 2.5 GHz to 28 GHz. The gain of the proposed antenna is more than 10 dB from 3.5 GHz to 25 GHz, and more than 8 dB at the whole operating band. 相似文献

The encoding/decoding scheme based on Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) for Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) system is analyzed and the whole process from transmitting end to receiving end is researched in detail. The mathematical mode including signal transmission, summing, receiving and recovering are established respectively. One of the main sources of Bit Error Rate (BER) of OCDMA system based on FBGs is the unevenness of signal power spectrum, which leads to the chip powers unequal with each other. This paper presents an efficient face segmentation algorithm based on binary partition tree. Skin-like regions are first obtained by integrating the results of pixel classification and watershed segmentation. Facial features are extracted by the techniques of valley detection and entropic thresholding, and are used to refine the skin-like regions. In order to segment the facial regions from the skin-like regions, a novel region merging algorithm is proposed by considering the impact of the common border ratio between adjacent regions, and the binary partition tree is used to represent the whole region merging process. Then the facial likeness of each node in the binary partition tree is evaluated using a set of fuzzy membership functions devised for a number of facial primitives of geometrical, elliptical and facial features. Finally, an efficient algorithm of node selecting in the binary partition tree is proposed for the final face segmentation, which can exactly segment the faces without any underlying assumption.
