Kinetic parameters for the anodic oxidation of hypochlorite ion have been determined by means of normal pulse voltammetry by using a platinum disk as the working electrode. By using the working electrode that formed an oxide film by electrochemical pretreatment, the effect of the lattice oxygen of the surface oxide on the reaction was also examined. The measurement results were analyzed by the classical method, and then the analytical results were evaluated by digital simulation. The normal pulse voltammogram of the hypochlorite ion showed quasi-reversible oxidation waves. The apparent rate constant was calculated to be 5.0-8.1 × 10−4 cm s−1, depending on the electrode surface state. At the low-concentration range of <4.0 mg Cl dm−3, the oxidation current was concentration dependent at the cathodically polarized electrode, while it became independent after the anodic polarization.  相似文献

The electrooxidation of methanol, ethanol, and 2-propanol was investigated with interdigitated array electrodes (IDAEs). The IDAE oxidizes alcohol at the generator and reduces the reaction intermediates produced by the oxidation process at the collector. Thus, the reaction intermediates can be estimated with the IDAE. The IDAE in the present work was made of sputter deposited Pt and Pt–Ru. The use of Ru free and added electrodes provides information on the effect of Ru addition on the alcohol oxidation. Cyclic voltammetric analyses revealed that Ru addition enhances the oxidation currents and reduces the Eonset of the alcohols. The detectable reaction intermediate at the methanol and ethanol oxidation was proton, while the intermediate species was acetone in 2-propnaol oxidation.  相似文献

Glasses with the compositions of 40K2O-40Nb2O5-20SiO2 (in mol%) containing different concentrations (0.01, 1 and 2 mol%) of NiO were prepared by a melt quenching technique. The glasses were irradiated with a continuous wave Nd:YAG laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm, and a metastable crystalline phase of KNbO3 was obtained. In 2 mol% NiO-doped glass, lines with a width of ∼10 μm are successfully patterned by laser irradiations with a power of 0.9 W and a scanning speed of 15 μm/s. It is found from micro-Raman scattering spectra that the lines are composed of the metastable crystalline phase of KNbO3. The crystallization mechanism in Nd:YAG laser-induced crystallization in the glasses is discussed in comparison with the usual crystallization in an electric furnace.  相似文献

Tris(1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TDCPP), a flame retardant, is regarded as a potentially toxic and persistent environmental contaminant. We previously isolated a TDCPP-degrading bacterium, Sphingobium sp. strain TCM1, which, however, produced a toxic metabolite: 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol (1,3-DCP). This study was undertaken to develop a technique for complete TDCPP detoxification using strain TCM1 with a 1,3-DCP-degrading bacterium, Arthrobacter sp. strain PY1. For efficient detoxification, we designed a resting cell system and examined the effect of freezing and lyophilization treatments for preparation of their resting cells. Results show that treatments had no marked adverse effect on their activities. The TDCPP dephosphorylation by TCM1 resting cells was optimal at 30°C and pH 8.5. Also, 1,3-DCP dehalogenation by strain PY1 resting cells was optimal at 35°C and pH 9.5. Under those respective conditions, the activities were 2.48 μmol h− 1·OD660− 1 for TDCPP and 0.95 μmol h− 1·OD660− 1 for 1,3-DCP. Based on these results, we set the reaction temperature to 30°C and pH to 9.0. Then we examined the detoxification of 50 μM TDCPP using mixed resting cells at a final OD660 of 0.05 for strain TCM1 and 0.2 for strain PY1. In these conditions, TDCPP was eliminated after 1 h, but some of the resulting 1,3-DCP remained at a constant level. The increase in strain PY1 cells to a final OD660 of 4.0 decreased the TDCPP dephosphorylation rate of strain TCM1 cells but achieved complete detoxification of TDCPP during 12 h of reaction.  相似文献

Supramolecular liquid-crystalline polymer microparticles were fabricated by combining a simple phase reversion method with hydrogen-bonding formation between an azopyridyl polymer and a series of dicarboxylic acid compounds. Their surface morphologies and phase behaviors were studied by changing the molecular length of the diacids, and then their photoresponsive behaviors were observed upon UV irradiation. Photoinduced deformation occurred for the supramolecularly assembled microparticles showing LC phases, whereas no changes in morphologies were observed for microparticles exhibiting amorphous or crystalline. The photoinduced LC-to-isotropic phase transition were responsible for the light-responsive behaviors of the supramolecular liquid-crystalline microparticles.  相似文献

To develop hydrogenated amorphous carbon (a-C:H) as a biocompatible coating, a-C:H was studied in terms of its protein adsorption during the initial process of cell adsorption. A multilayer surface plasmon resonance (SPR) device consisting of an a-C:H layer on Au was built in the Kretschmann configuration to detect protein adsorption on an a-C:H film surface. From the dependence of reflectivity on the laser incident angle, SPR angle was determined to the incident angle in which the light intensity was reduced drastically. The proteins considered were lysozyme (Lyz) and fibrinogen (Fib). The SPR angle increased from 58.09 to 58.69° upon the adsorption of Lyz when the nonadsorbed Lyz was removed after introduction of 20 μM Lyz-containing solution. Upon the adsorption of Fib, the SPR angle increased from 60.95 to 61.76° when the nonadsorbed Fib were removed after the introduction of 0.4 μM Fib-containing solution. The shift in the SPR angle was small for both cases. Obtained results suggested that the number of adsorbed Lyz was higher than that of adsorbed Fib.  相似文献

A new precipitation-hardenable wrought magnesium alloy based on the Mg–Zn system with an excellent combination of high tensile yield strength, good ductility and low tensile-compression anisotropy has been developed. The Mg–2.4Zn–0.1Ag–0.1Ca(–0.16Zr) (at.%) alloys show significantly higher age-hardening responses compared to that of the binary Mg–2.4Zn alloy due to the increased number density and refinement of rod-like MgZn2 precipitates. The addition of Zr to the Mg–2.4Zn–0.1Ag–0.1Ca alloy resulted in a significant refinement of the grain size. A high number density of precipitates was observed in the Mg–2.4Zn–0.1Ag–0.1Ca–0.16Zr alloy in both the as-extruded condition and following isothermal ageing at 160 °C. The tensile yield strength of the as-extruded and aged alloys was 289 and 325 MPa, with an elongation of 17% and 14%, respectively. These alloys show relatively low compression and tensile anisotropy. The origins of these unique mechanical properties are discussed based on the detailed microstructural investigation.  相似文献

Due to the singular behavior of the stress field near the interface edge of bonded dissimilar materials, fracture generally initiates near the interface edge, or just from the interface edge point. In this paper, an edge crack near the interface, which can be considered as being induced by the edge singularity and satisfying two conditions, is analyzed theoretically, based on the singular stress field near the interface edge and the superposition principle. It is found that the stress intensity factor can be expressed by the stress intensity coefficient of the edge singular stress field, the crack length, the distance between the interface and the crack, as well as the material combination. Boundary element method analysis is also carried out. It is found that the theoretical result coincides well with the numerical result when the crack length is small. Therefore, the theoretical representation obtained by this study can be used to simply evaluate the stress intensity factor of an edge singularity induced crack for this case. However, when the crack length becomes larger than a certain value, a significant difference appears, especially for the case with large edge singularity.  相似文献
